"Well, I suppose one of the dragons can take care of the creatures again," Honor says. "Anyone see a way to turn off the lightning? If not, I think Higgul is the only one with defenses against lightning."
"Look at the floor - how it flashes each time lightning strikes it. My guess is that the floor's electrified and not safe to cross. I could fly over and attempt to dispel the lightning orb if it's powered by magic."
(OOC: Are we standing on the flashing floor (thus making me wrong) or is there a safe spot where we enter the chamber where the floor doesn't flash?)
The group of you are standing in the tunnel just outside of the chamber. You would be quite correct that the floor looks dangerous, but the range of detect magic would not let you detect what is going on on the far end of this large chamber.
"Hm." Kierro observes the room. "Those creatures in the center. Clustered together and, for the first time since we've arrived here, they don't look to be immune to fire attacks. Chysen and I should be able to handle it, but be wary in case any still remain. Once we've dealt with them I'll fly out and attempt to disable the lightning device. Everyone ready?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chysen moves forward, pushing off before entering the room and shifting into his dragon form. Kierro extends a hand, summoning a fireball at the same time that his dragon unleashes his fire breath, both centered on the cluster of constructs.
Kierro's fireball: 36 fire damage, DC 20 DEX save for half
Chysen's fire breath: 57 fire damage, DC 21 DEX save for half
With a couple blasts of fire, likely taking Kierro yet another fireball to clean up the stragglers, the cute constructs are obliterated in blasts of concentrated fire. As the flames lick throughout the room though you would notice that there seems to be some sort of barior that keeps the fires from reaching the source of the lightning.
Once the room is cleared of creatures, Nadariel will cast fly on himself and together with Ive, carefully fly in the room. I would look for a way to turn of the lightning, casting Disspell magic at the source.
Nadariel would just feel the invisible force barrier. Your item is not behind the barrier though, but down among the burned and blackened constructs on the main floor of the chamber, with the crackling of electricity running over their metal forms.
While flying and stay8ng of the ground, can i try to search for my item. (Investigation 16+6)
Not really, there is a large clump of burned constructs atop where you sense your item to be. You would need to move them to be able to search for it. Doing so will cause lightning damage to you... I will say your dragon has resistance to lightning damage, but not sure if any other dragons, besides Latrius's Axial, has immunity to it.
“Can anyone of you cast some kind of protective shield, my dragon got some resistance, but i would rather not test out how bad those lightnings are...” Nadariel asks.
We can test with rope to see if the carcasses react to being touched at all, or if they're just conductive. Honor can hand Higgul her net, and Higgul can help pull carcasses out of the way.

„Ive got some natural resistance against bad weather as well, but what are those things? Are they some kind of constructs?“ Nadariel asks.
Do they look like living creatures or animated objects or golems?
Kierro will cast detect magic.

“Should we just try to dispel it?” Leto asks

What are we doing here? Kierro, if you are ready then go for it, otherwise does someone else have something they wish to do?

A barrior prevents you from dispelling the source. You would recognize it as a Wall of Force
Since my item is here in this room, i will try something crazy and just try to touch the barrier if it keeps me out as well.
Naivara watches silently, this whole place leaving her on edge the farther they go down.

Though not sure if it will have any effect, Leto attempts to cast Dispel Magic on the crumpled forms of the creatures on the floor.
