Dorceran alerts everyone to the sign’s translation and readies his defense (dodge) as he comes around the corner, moving out of the tunnel, but away from the scream, making room for the others and keeping an eye out on the rest of the clearing.
As Meilannan taps the ring twice, it grows heavy and falls out of his hand. With a crack of thunder, Ekane appears. She picks up the ring that had fallen, and returns Meilannan's wry smile. "Sorry, only I can pull off that trick." With that, Ekane also attempts to slip into the shadows, but doesn't try to move forward past Dorceran.
As you near the source, the tunnel opens into another large room, much like the one you were just in. It’s already lit, and you don’t see any immediate traps. What you do see, however, is 3 normal looking red kobolds sitting at a large iron door. Occasionally, they look into a small hatch in the door, and shoot a blowdart into something, and it looks like the same type of dart that were used in the traps. When they do so, whatever’s inside makes a mix of a scream and a moan, as if this has been going on for a long time, and it’s accepted this. They also have crude shortswords. However, before Dorceran can see what’s behind the door, one of the kobold sees you. It sits there for a moment, frantically looking between Dorceran, Alax, and Meilannan (I’m assuming you also went that way) before screaming ‘Intruders! INTRUDERS!’ (In draconic, of course) Two of the three get up and grab their blades, while the third one begins to unlock the door.
Roll initiative for just the three of you, not Ekane or Sylvalur. You two can enter the battle in a surprise round, or just stay in hiding.

Meilanann begins an incantation, but once he realizes his companions are choosing a non-violent solution, he holds the spell and waits to see what happens next.
Readied action for if any of the kobolds attack any of the party: acid splash on the one that attacks, and if another kobold is within five feet of it, that one, too: DEX save DC13 or take 4 acid damage
Initiative: 16
He also moves as far back as he can while still being able to see everyone in the room.
The whole group of kobolds seems collectively confused. The kobold who is being grappled manages to shake Ekane off of them, but only backs up with shortsword in hand. The one at the door tries to push Sylvalur back (7). The third kobold looks around for a second, before noticing their friend at the door and making an attack at Ekane. However, they are hit by Meilannan’s acid splash, and fall to the ground, dead. The kobold nearby manages to dodge the blast. Suddenly, however, the door is hit by something on the other side, hard. It begins to buckle, but holds as the thing inside roars in anger.
Alax sighs disappointedly when the Kobolds and their friends launch into action, and they draw their sword.

Sylvalur
Sylvalur slips quietly after Alax, sticking to what shadows there are. Stealth 21
Just wondering, is that counted as a prepared action? Also, is anybody else going to post, or should I go on?

Meilanann taps twice on the ring. (Assuming Ekane will appear.) The half-elf gives the half-orc a rye smile. "Can I hide in the ring now?" he groans.

Sylvalur
(As the suprise round, I guess first? Or whenever you think have I scope to get to the one unlocking the door? If so..)
Sylvalur sneaks to kobold opening the door and puts his blade on the kobolds throat. "Not so fast, hands on the wall".
He shouts over his shoulder "Dorc', tell them we are here to help"
(Init if needed13)
Alax readies their weapons, only to think otherwise. They place their sword on their back, and gesture to the party.
”fear not, my friends! We do not come with violence on our minds! We are here to provide assistance with this cursed plague!” They call out in common
