Kitsune looks down at the pulpy mess she just made of the sentry, and all she can manage is a meek “oops.”

27. WORKSHOP AND STORAGE

This area holds a large kiln, which is currently lit. Tools, chunks of stone, and lumps of clay wrapped in cloth are scattered about. This place has been recently manipulated, as if someone or something is working here. Other than this revelation, there is really nothing else of interest in this small area.

"Maybe I DO have a date." Lucas adds, matter of factly. "Time's ticking, you know."

Alta blinks at him. "You can literally travel through time."

As the group heads on to the next room, Kitsune throws her arm around Lucas and gleefully spouts:

There once was a robot name Lucas
Who could speed even faster than light.
He set out one day
In a relative way
And returned on the previous night.

"Uch, please shut your pie hole and stop touching me." Lucas shoo's you away. "You're getting my chassy greasy and your gleeful spouting is ruining my audio receptors."

Kitsune retorts "Oi!  How long has it been since you've been on a date, anyway?!  Too long, apparently, my friend.  Too long!"

Dalavash moves cautiously towards the back of the workshop (area 28), looking for anything magical / useful...

The workshop area appears to lead to into something else.

28. PRIVATE CHAPEL

This hallway leads to what appears to be a private chapel. It contains a bed, personal effects, ceremonial robes, and religious instruments of office. A fireplace along the northeast wall is carved to resemble a smaller version of the famed statue of Moloch. You can hear a man chanting at the end of the hall.

Dalavash wracks his brains to see what he recalls, if anything, about this religion.

Religion: 22

Kitsune will gather up the robes and associated religious instruments, and hand them to Dalavash.  Whispering, "Here, take these....a disguise might come in handy later!"

This particular religion is focused on the worship of Moloch. 

"Somebody want to be invisible to go silence that man?"

"I'm not too much of an assassin, but there's six of us and one of him. Let's just kill him now."

Seldor will walk up, rapier in hand and stab him in the back.

You puncture a vital spot in his back, and in a bark of pain and surprise, falls over as you pull your blade out and doesn't move again. In an alcove, upon closer inspection, are piles of stones in addition to prayer items. It appears this person was, for whatever reason, trying to construct a stone golem. Looking at the dead man's hands, he is not the builder, strangely. The room does not contain anything else of interest or value.

"I did not expect him to die this easily. Do we want to spend one of Lucas' charges to go back six seconds and ask this man why he was attempting to make a stone golem?

Thinking back to the robot brain she destroyed in a single attack, with a dash of newfound confidence, Kitsune adds "they all appear to be much stronger than they truly are down here...very strange indeed.  I suggest we hold off on using any charges until we've explored this place further, and truly find an emergent need for using one?"

‘Can we try and take a prisoner next time?’ Dalavash asks, ‘We could use some more information on the complex..’

Not waiting for an answer, he takes a closer look at the Stone Golem.
