Bell right herself, rubbing her shoulder where one of her many bruises was starting to form, and then winces at Fallan's psychic cry. Giving up on root for the moment, she walks over to Fallan and the old woman. "Fallan... what is it? What's coming?" She looks to Rose. "Is this part of the strange trance everyone's in?"

The older woman begins back-pedalling, but has enough wherewithal to grab the 'poor child' Fallan as she slinks into a corner if only to limit the number of places she has to guard and watch (not realizing that also limits her escape options) as she cradles Fallan, with terror in her voice at this 'unknown enemy' that 'the voice in her head' warned her of. S-Shhh.. Shh child, it's OK, whatever it was that you did.. couldn't have been that bad.... Right now we need to focus on keeping this thing from getting you.... You're safe here in Selune's temple.... I promise... her words were intermingling doubt, fear, and sincerity as her head continued to turn about as often as it could.
Soon even Rose is crying out, despite not being under the effects, though the moment she gives in, she feels the tendrils of something coiling and wrapping around her every thought trying to do something.... but Rose had managed to come to and reach her senses before something happened, her prayer and spell just fast enough, that it hit everyone whom was left in the room but Fallan who was just beyond the reach of the spells limits. Nana, the preist's who (if only by dint of the fact that other priest's had gotten in their way first) Root, and even Bell who was about to have to resist again herself feel a calming wash over them. And All of them to varying degree's blink as if they had been stunned, looking around in confusion, at eachother, and those around them.
Hearing the 'childs' wails, after those whom had been sitting and praying, a few of them head over to where fallan is clutched in the still warped grandmothers hands, as she see's them approaching, and for a moment it looks like she's going to attack, assuming the preists are the ones after the child, but recognition dawns on her face as to who these people are, and she calms but says to them Ware! Somehting is after this child, but I do not know what it is. I believe it's invisible as I haven't seen it. Ready your spells! the preists seem to remember something about that though this time instead of going into a panic, they all pre-chant attack spells as they surround Fallan to protect the poor thing who's likely still blubbering what to most is nonsense.
With Rose, Nana shakes her head a few times, blinking from her stupor, Seeing that she's entered a battle stance and remembers that there had been a disturbance moments before. Seeing Rose, she says I'm glad you're still here Rose, we could use an extra hand, it seems some foul entity has entered the temple, speaking to our minds, and threatening the child in Balleries hands. though her words didn't seem coated with glaze. It seemed that Rose's spell had worked on everyone except Fallan and the old caretaker.
"It's ALWAYS coming. I don't know what it is. I don't know how it happened or what it was I unleashed. It's why I need protection. It's demonic, or ungodly, or otherworldly, or just plain evil. Surely this is a sign. But then, EVERYTHING is a sign..." Fallan's barely contained fears on normal days just burst through the dam that had been holding back her near psychosis rush out all at once. The floodgates are loosed and the deluge seems never-ending.
"I don't know how, but you HAVE TO HELP ME!" she weeps as she convulses in the lap of the caretaker.
Rose calms for a moment seeing Nana seeming to come to her senses. Nana, please stay close to me. That's no child but a halfling like myself, shes under whatever foul influence had been clouding your mind. I can stop it I think.. With that Rose moves closer to Fallan to make sure she is within the speared to cure Fallan of the charm affecting her. Then in a serious but frantic tone she says. Please, everyone, we need ti get out of the city. Whatever charm has taken hold of everyone is suppressed but I can't keep this sanctuary up for long. We need to leave Silverymoon now.
The old woman looks down, with a touch of fear on her face from the way that Fallan was talking, and she was just about to push Fallan out of her lap when the calming sensations of Rose's spell seemed to work its magic, and the womans huffing slowed as she looked down at the poor, pathetic, shaking thing in her lap, pulling Fallan in for a hug as the same curative magics worked themselves onto her as well. Would this spell work every time? perhaps, and perhaps not, but many factors were going on. You poor child.... and I say that knowing you are a halfling... I know not what haunts you, but it sounds like a fiend of the nine hells or the void.... so long as you're not crazy... but I am willing to believe your trauma is real. Nana seems a bit confused by rose's 'order' but considering the situation she found herself in, she simply nodded and moved with her waiting until the last two within the building itself were 'healed.' the man who was shaking his fist at the sun earlier was now wide awake, but seemed tired, apparently having gotten no proper sleep the night before, getting up at Rose's most recent proclamation to follow, though his eyes were squinting.
A few concerned voices also rise up though it's only a soft din and not a cacaphony, as if someone was holding a conference within a library. All of them looking to Nana to confirm if they should, all except the older lady whom was already doing her best to stand and carry Fallan up with her. I don't understand what is going on Rose, but I can tell you're not pulling a prank .. for once. Whether her words remained true, or were simply a jest was anyone's guess other than hers and Rose's. Regardless, Nana nodded at the others in the room, moving to help Ballerie up. Come, let us make our way to the city gates. I don't know why or what, but apparently there is something going on, so we must make haste. And with that, all of them seemed ready to go, only a few unfortunate acolytes and preists having escaped the temple prior to Rose's spell.
Root lowering his stance scratches his head “Wait, what we’re doing again? What’s happening here? I am so confused...” Seeing that Rose is get the others together “We’re leaving? Where to?” Root follows after the group staying in the rear.

"Ummm, uhhh, WOW..." gently standing up and testing the sturdiness of her own two legs, Fallan's expression changes from one of fear to one more correctly identified as embarrassment. She turns to the caretaker, and profusely apologizes for her behavior, and takes a moment to thank the older woman for her understanding and care.
While still flush with the reddened cheeks of a fully mortified person, Fallan says to Rose, Bell and Root: "I'm sorry for all that. What Rose said - I'm with her... with you all... let's get away from whatever was/is affecting this place... Please."
And with that, she "falls in line behind the halfling cleric hitches up he backpack and stares forward, ready to hike in whatever direction Rose decides.
The entire group within the aura follows Rose out, as well as everyone else it seems. And the outer area was much as it had been before, as you all make your way back to the city gate that had been left propped open, unfortunately Rose's aura had a very finite limit. The preistess' and preist that had followed looked around, aghast at what they saw. Some of it was odd... bu not entirely 'bad' such as the cuddlers along the street, but it wasn't long after this that Rose's aura fades, lasting only a minute, and the party having a roughly twenty minute walk back to the gate they had come in from.
Passing the restaurant area that the gluttons were still around, stuffing their faces even as the chefs brought out more and more plates of food, a few of the preistess' looked on in horror at the blue face of the one who'd been on the ground previously. All but one of the preistess' continued to follow the group, with the elderly woman lagging behind Fallan, whom she had told before they left hat Fallan's outburst was 'fine' if only because she didn't understand what had caused it and only vaguely remembered what was the cause of it to begin with. Something about some evil thing.... but as she saw the glutton on the ground who had turned into a smurf, she couldn't help but run (for her age) towards him screaming I think he's dead! Someone has to help him! her eyes looking around her, to the group, and to others nearby, including the waiters wandering in and out.
Although it pained her Rose knew she couldn't help anyone if they all succumbed to whatever madness had taken hold of her home. She shakes her head violently shouting No! We have to go or we won't be able to help anyone! Don't stop for anything! Rose continues towards the gate, dragging Nana with her all the while. If anyone else fell to the madness Rose would leave them, just making sure at least Nana and herself made it out. At least then they could return and try to cure people slowly.
Fallan dithers for a moment, feet frozen in place as she looked repeatedly back and forth between Rose on the move and the caretaker who had consoled her no longer moving. Truly torn despite Rose's ultimatum, she finally calls out to the caretaker: "I can't do anything to help him, if he's dying, other than *trying* to drag him along with us. But even if we do that, he could die while being dragged."
Having reached something of a decision, Fallan turns and continues to follow Rose, though she keeps looking back, hoping that the caretaker will rise and follow as well.
"People are in danger across this city it appears, and I'm sure many have already perished like this. We cannot dally here. I coul heal him but if he's got something lodged in his throat, or has eaten so much he can't breath, healing him will only prolong his suffering." Bell will attempt to pick up the old woman and carry her with them.

The woman resists, futilely. And after a moment, Bell is able to drag her away. The woman tries to be as much dead weight as possible as even though she is pulled along she's actively trying to get back, before saying to those around her, not necessarily being aware that not everyone here believed in Selune ... You're just gonna leave him there to die?! her voice, shaky from age cries out, managing to get some looks from those eating as she's now more than thirty feet away, though they don't cease from their eating. Aren't you supposed to help people!? How can you call yourselvespriests and priestesses of Selune when your hearts are made of ice!
As the dead man disappears into the distance before buildings inevitably block view entirely, and she quickly goes docile, at-least until nearing the gate itself, having spotted the corpse of the man who'd killed himself in front of his own stall. The merchants once more, and still buzzing around trying to hawk their wares to anyone and everyone, even the older woman being pulled, who is once again going off about 'saving people' as she tries to go him, while three various merchants try to convince her to buy their crap.
