You all awake from your much needed rest. The blinding light of the sun beats down on your faces. Much later than you intended to rest, the wooden clock mounted on the wall reads 10:55 AM. At first glance, the room appears to be in the same condition as you left it. Aliira is gone, which is nothing out of the ordinary, but as you look around the room you notice something is off. It takes you a moment to realise that Mara is gone. She has been keeping to herself lately and never made any mention of leaving; yet you cannot see any kind of struggle. Her bed is still in shambles like it has been slept in. Something doesn't make sense. Outside, their is a tiefling guard unconscious by the door to the lower decks.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Mara what did you do? Anyways let's make sure this guard isn't dead and hopefully someone will be able to explain whats going on. Arvid you be careful out there."
Scottie will perform a medicine check just making sure that the guard is still breathing and not going to die on us.
Arvidsjaur inspects the area and the tiefling. He doesn't recognise the creature, but he finds an empty bottle of port beside the passed out guard. Scottie assesses the unconious tiefling. All signs suggest he is sleeping off the effects from a night of heavy drinking.
While Scottie is diagnosing the tiefling, Arvidsjaur casts a spell of himself. His skin turns a scaly red and two horns poke from his head, curling around his skull. He looks just like the tiefling; except he is a foot shorter.
Isuzu kneels beside the unconscious tiefling and picks up the port bottle. The alcohol is very strong, but she still detects a hint of sleeping potion. She then inspects the tiefling and finds nothing of interest, except to noteworthy omission of keys.
The unlocked door to the lower decks has been left open, exposing a crowded stockroom. You hear voices coming from the room beyond this corridor; presumably the tieflings sitting down to lunch.
The corridor travels down fifty feet until it opens into a larger room that Arvidsjaur can see is the Dining Hall, which is currently packed with tieflings all ripping flesh off some cooked creature's bones and cramming the meat in their mouths. They chewed the meat and washed it down with some wine.
A tiefling stands in the doorway. "Who is that? Is that you Pelious?"
Looking at everyone he will say "I can also magically disguise myself to appear as a Tiefling. If Arvid is not back within forty minutes I'm going to disguise myself and go looking for him. If I leave I'm trusting you Isuzu to watch over Braithe and the kids."
[She seems genuine as far as you can tell, and has no idea you are Arvidsjaur.]
She throws her arms around you and offers Arvidsjaur a kiss. "Oh, Pel, we need to find her. If she makes her way into the cargo bay... They'd even kill me if I was caught sniffing around down there."
Aliira is a little rejected by Arvidsjaur's dismissive reaction, but her concern for Mara outweighs this and she dashes toward the kitchen.
"If Mara came in here last night, she couldn't have gone into the dining hall. There were crew in there all night. Someone would've mentioned something. She had to go in through the kitchen."

"I agree," Braithe smiles. "Caitlin and Marius are our primary concern. After they are safely stowed away we cam proceed with any other plan."
"That's the way, Suzie," Braithe yawns. "You finally got a personality. Good for you."
He then closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep.
[Take a long rest. It will finish at 10:55 AM]

As the tiefling steps closer, Arvidsjaur notices it is Aliira.
"Pelious, what's wrong? Is something wrong with our passengers?"
She seems genuinely concerned.
