Louis will draw a dagger and stab the bandit in front of him

Chernobog does an incredible fly past attack, his claws cracking with energy and one of the distant bandits is partially frazzled.  He is moderately injured, but runs on at full tilt towards the distant bridge that only Vaclav can see (when he looks through the owl's eyes).

Meanwhile on your side of the river, Louis dispatches the last of the regular bandits with his dagger.  The poor man was so badly hurt from Claire's earlier javelin he could not even parry and the blade slips in between his ribs.  Blood trickles out of his mouth as he collapses at Louis' feet.

On your side of the river is only the competent swordsman, who is facing Claire.  On the other side of the river are three bandits who are out of sight but rushing your way.

Claire and Nos Heliwr are up!  

Claire grunts in pain and glares at her opponent, unwilling to give any ground.  She whips the glaive around and tries to disable the leader, following it up with a quick but non-lethal strike aimed towards his ribs to wind him.

The leader is wearing leathers like the others but is quick on his feet and adept at blocking.  That said, Claire is a well-trained warrior with many years of formal teaching under her belt.  She harries the swordsman for a few seconds.  He is able to block and parry most attacks but she does manage to cut him across the left arm with one strike and jabs him in the gut with the butt of her polearm when he gets too close.   It's a bit of a stand off but he is now lightly wounded.  Hes snarling as he fights and you suspect he's not going to be fighting to subdue you!

Nos Heliwr is up, then it'll be the bandits...

So, between Nos Heliwr's long range precision shot and Chernobog's sizzling, two of the far-off bandits are moderately injured.

Nos Heliwr, you begin Round Two hidden in the trees.  It's your turn...

Nos Heliwr slips around the folliage and approaches the leader from his blind side.  He almost manages to slide his blade into the warrior's back but the canny opponent was too alert to be caught totally off guard, and so caught a tiny bit of movement from the corner of his eye and evaded at the last second.  The blade still struck true however and the leader is now moderately injured and beginning to pant.

Round Three

The leader is now facing off Nos Heliwr and Claire.  He is backing towards the water, his footwork still fast across the sand.  He's keeping you both occupied with his flashing saber and probing dagger as he moves.

Meanwhile Chernobog sees the other three bandits cross the bridge.  They are perhaps 60 ft. away and in good cover from your position around the beach (three quarter cover means -5 to hit them if you're shooting at them this round).  They are loading and pointing their crossbows, but do not have time (actions) enough to fire yet.

Claire collapses as the warrior's flashing sabre opens up a bad gash in her abdomen!

Chernobog swoops again, performing the same maneuver as before, targeting the same bandit. Shocking Grasp Vaclav backs up a bit, trying to open the range between himself and the battle to 90 feet.

Attack: 12 Damage: 6

Chernobog swoops in and lands on the bandit's head as he tries to hunker down behind a tree for cover.  As well as the owl's talons, the bird lets rip a powerful electrical blast and the man spasms, screams and falls dead, a light whisp of oily smoke coming from his body.  Chernobog screeches and takes flight once more.   One of the bandits, who has a grazed thigh where he was hit by Nos Heliwr's hand crossbow earlier, takes note of the owl and raises his crossbow, tracking the bird's flight.

There are now just two bandits in the north wood (one watching you guys, the other taking a bead on the owl) and the leader on the beach. 

Louis and Nos Heliwr are up!

Attack: 21 Damage: 11  Nos Heliwr stabs the bandit.

Sneak Attack   6

Unfortunately, Nos Heliwr's efforts are not skilful enough and the bandit leader blocks effortlessly.

Louis is up!

 Nos Heliwr, swearing like a drunken sailor, spits in the scumbag's eye.

Louis takes out the bandit who was tracking Chernobog with a well-placed arrow.  That leaves one hunkered down in cover and the leader who stands over Claire and menaces Nos Heliwr.  Claire is bleeding but seems to have fallen well, and the wound is not gushing blood.

The leader tries to slice-and-dice the assassin who faces him.

Nos Heliwr desperately tries to defend against the expert swordsman but is out-matched and falls in a bloody heap next to Claire.   "Who's next?!" shouts the leader defiantly.

The bandit back in the woods stands to get a better view and a crossbow bolt flashes out at Vaclav who is stood near the back of the group.

Light crossbow: 13 Damage: 5

Vaclav simply waves a hand and the crossbow bolt bounces harmlessly off an invisible arcane shield.

Suddenly, and unexpectedly two crossbow bolts whiz past Vaclav and Louis and fly towards the bandit leader.  Glancing over their shoulders across the beach they spot Captain Aaron and his son, Jack.  Each of which has a light crossbow they have acquired from the dead bandits.

Aaron - Light Crossbow: 8 Damage: 6
Jack - Light Crossbow: 6 Damage: 4

Unfortunately, they are fair from trained warriors and their nervous shots fire off into the afternoon sky.

There is one bandit in the wood with a crossbow and the leader who is on the beach, moderately wounded and looking to advance towards you both.  Louis is in front of Vaclav and behind even him are the two sailors.

Vaclav and Louis are up!   

Louis sees that trouble will overwhelm them soon unless he acts and gives a frustrated shout. 
He runs to Claire and lays a hand on her, muttering unintelligibly, casting cure wounds for 6 

Vaclav gives a cocky grin as he deflects the bolt aimed at him. "I believe you might want to try me. But first a demonstration." He draws an arcane symbol in the air in front of him and three bolt of light streak out towards the bandit leader. Magic Missile
