Jahren smiles and waves at the dragon before clutching his shield and quickly diving his carpet back below the tree line. During his dive he casts Blink and calls out to the party "green dragon!" "Let's move with the 22nd, West / South West!" He tries his best to spot whoever he can from the group so he can help make sure everyone is ok, but certainly at least fails to find Toc.
With no enemies in site to attack at this point, Fianna will slowly move South, and just a touch Westerly. The goals being to 1) get south of the pond while mainly remaining in forested area and 2) try to get others into her line of sight so she knows who is going where and who needs assistance and such. Basically to connect with others while not growing up into straight lines or bunches susceptible to AoEs
FinFin would have been angling up to break the canopy and see what was what, but hearing there is a dragon up there he stays below the canopy , but high amidst the trees, to try to suss out locations of other enemies.
Jahren takes a fraction of a second to study the dragon, just to see if it has any distinct markings, scars, injuries, etc. so as to suss out any weaknesses or at least be able to tell this dragon apart from the others here in Cormanthor.
When Mirica and Fianna were telling about dragons, they also shared this: "Viridian is the biggest of the three, and a male. He's prone to fighting and bears a scar across his left eye from when he was younger. Berdea is the only girl. She's a bit smaller and has lighter green tinge to her underside. Gwyrdd...he's the other one. His eyes are always moving, he's always thinking, though he prefers to act through servants. He tends to just give you a show from a distance and then his servants show up and deal with you. Gwyrdd is the only reasonable one of the three. He'll at least talk to you before trying to rot your insides out with poison".
(Mirica tries to keep up with others as well, while not loosing cover if possible)

The ever growing document of character concepts can never be too long, can it?
Jahren got a good look at the dragon's face as it barrelled towards him, seeing a clear scar down across its right eye. Oh good, it's the big strong mean one. He drops below the canopy as the massive form of the dragon swooshes overhead, the tree tops shuddering in the blast of air, leaves fluttering down from above.
Loane creeps south while overhead Chen leans against a tree trying to spy the oncoming orcs. The sound of the 22nd squad outliers coming rushing at full tilt towards the clearing is drowned out by the dozens of orcs coming crashing down the forested hillside. You can hear them coming, and see the motion of bushes, but can't get a clear view yet.
FinFin though can see them coming rushing through the woods, weapons out, seeking to rush the clearing.
Mirica heads south west along with the others, skirting around the pond. SinSin moves with the group, glancing about, wondering how a bar room brawler has got himself caught up in a battle like this. Toc appears suddenly his staff pointed towards the tree tops, a blast of lightning rips through the forest and blasts into a branch. The branch shatters and the body of a small demonic flying creature briefly appears before it's disintegrated by the magical energy. Toc shouts, "Invisible scout. It's dead now!" He continues to scan the upper branches as he backs away with the rest of the group.
The 22nd members who were outliers shout as they withdraw, "Dozen orc, 1 o'clock!" "Dozen orc, 11 o'clock!"
Everyone's next action. We don't have to do round for round at this point if you're all trying to withdraw at the same rate that the enemy is advancing. (aka, running). If you are doing anything other than fleeing for the moment, let me know. The 22nd members on west side seem to be stopping to turn to cover their outliers who are rushing back. Otherwise it looks like they plan on doing a bounding retreat, at least at first.
So, popping out of initiative for a moment, since you're fleeing, let me know what you aim to do over the next minute or so. The white sphere below, centered on Loane, shows roughly how far you can see targets through the woods. (150 feet)
Jahren's goals at the moment are to avoid death by dragon, try to spot all of his companions to be sure no one gets left behind, and to try to get the group to retreat with the 22nd. He had initially thought to just ask Toc to teleport them all away, but would have regretted it if they later found out that the 22nd got wiped out.
If things get hairy, mostly meaning if the dragon is about to strike at someone or a mass of orcs draws very close, he has some spells in mind to keep everyone safe.
For my own fun (since I've never gotten to use the spell before): BLINK!

As he flies out over the pond and then swiftly through the woods, Jahren and his carpet keep disappearing from existence and then reappearing again a few feat of where they were previously.
There was still not much that could be done (at least not by here now). She turned to the call:
Plant Growth on the orc group at 1 o'clock ("B" and Orcs from 1 to 7), placed in a way, to cover the group, and if possible, keep the growing plants between them and 22nd-s.
Fianna is moving towards 22-5 and 22-6 to try to support them as they guard the backs of the masses who are retreating. Hopefully she meets them halfway but she will go all the way to them if she must.
FinFIn is moving more towards Fianna but still trying to be the eyes in the sky.

Chen runs down the other side of the tree and after the group. Mirica turns and casts plant growth, a veritable jungle of plants erupting between the northern most group and the 22nd and group. That batch of orcs immediately fall behind as a pursuit ensues. There is some initial exchange of bolts but both groups quickly cease taking the time to fire as they bolt. Toc looks back, muttering arcane words of power, and a shimmering ten foot high wall, 100 feet across springs up across the forest behind you. Several orcs smash into it in their pursuits, before they all begin shouting and moving around. In general though the 22nd and the group are outpacing the orcs, though from shouts its clear there are drow and perhaps other creatures not far behind the orcs.
Toc swings his face up and to the right suddenly, tracks something, then losing it, then snaps over seeing it in another spot. He seems to lose it though. He frowns but continues with the group.

The flight through the forest seems a bit chaotic, but the orcs seem to drop off, not willing to chase the 22nd for a long period. FinFin risks a peak through the canopy, but likewise the dragon has given off pursuit, only a small green dot flying away to the east.
The sound of branches cracking, and the heavy huffing breathing of soldiers moving through the woods continues for another fifteen minutes before adrenalin starts to wear off and the jogging turns to a slogging walk. Sergeant Coon calls a halt. The 22nd settles down into some defensive positions, crossbows aimed at the path they'd come from.
Sweat pouring down his face, Sergeant Coon approaches the group. He looks displeased. "A dragon. Invisible spies. A whole force of orc and drow." He seems to simply be stating things, his meaning isn't clear as he takes a few deep breaths. "They should wiped us out, why'd they give up so easy? They barely chased us but a mile before giving up. Even if you were puttin some obstacles in their way." He takes a moment for some more deep breaths. "Doesn't make sense." He raises his voice to his squad, "Ready to leave in 3. Get yer water, get yer air."
Toc looks around, "I'm still able to see invisible. There is nothing pursuing us. I can also secure our camp this night so they can't simply use magic to locate us. That may help. But I agree with him. They seemed to give up easily. Also. There was an orc....flying. It was invisible. It was also teleporting in large jumps as it went. I lost it at some point then never saw it again."
Toc looks to each of the group members in turn, subtly pointing at each of them, they individually hear his voice in their head, "That soldier over there. The flying orc thing turned into him, made the original soldier vanish, and took his place. It was cleverly done during the chaos of the flight, and using trees as cover, but I noticed the swap. I've no idea where the original soldier went."
Chen nods to Toc. Assuming a confrontation is impending, Chen walks around the group, on the pretense of scanning the forest for enemies, but really trying to get into position to cut off the imposter's means of escape.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
It was expensive, probably wastful but Mirica was curious: she found in her backpack a small box with some balm (or so it seems) and as if healing weak eyes rubbed it in.
True Seeing She winked to Toc and as innocently as she could looked in the "soldier" direction (checking out for danger should not have looked suspicious).
Jahren too feigns looking around them in the woods for more trouble while sneaking a glance and a quick point back at Toc with his own Message. "Be ready to Counterspell his attempt to flee."
The bard prepares himself and then suddenly casts Dispel Magic on the imposter, calmly requesting "grab him, if you would Chen." In his few seconds of preparation before doing so, the bard also made sure his mind and body were ready to quickly Counterspell any attempt by the enemy to teleport away or use any other magic.
Mirica glances at the soldier. Instead of a human, or even an orc, she she's a demonic creature that resembles a fox, with sharp teeth jutting up from an underbite and a long pointed ears. Try as she might, she can't stop from making eye contact.
Jahren casts a sudden spell and the image of the soldier vanishes, leaving behind the fox creature. "Grab him, if you would Chen!"
Several of the 22nd jump. One of them yells, "What the hell happened to Roz?!?"
