Well yes you have the cart and horses, but like do you want to go now or get some rest or something? It's still pretty early in the day, but it's up to you all on how and when you want to proceed to Vinanathi.

Characters: Lar-Dun Vanthaft - Human Warlock - Yawning Portal with Artymis, Moril - Tiefling Sorcerer - Dragondenn's Dragonlords, Paquinal Dalanthan - Eladrin Wizard - ShadowThorn's Out of the Abyss
Campaigns: Rod of Nankon, Darkness Reborn, Dungeonverse, Alycron - A Cosmic Horror West Marches (Co-DMing), One-on-Ones
"Right then," Tender exclaims, probably a little too excitedly, climbing up into the carriage, "who's driving, because I definitely do not think it should be me." She's never driven a carriage before, and while it could be fun, she doesn't want to risk it. "What's Vinanathi like?" she adds once she's situated, carefully tucking her tail in so that it doesn't get in anyone's way.
"I am happy ta take the reins, though I'm no well adept at drivin' a cart," Orimdal replies, "However, Fletcher seemed ta do a good job before. If he is happy ta drive us, I'm all for it."
(Yes, you could all fir in the carriage, with Fletcher driving it)
Orden waves at you as you draw away. Soon he becomes a small speck in front of the walls, which themselves become smaller on the horizon behind you. The ride through the forest is quiet and uneventful (feel free to play out any conversations or interactions, though). After a few hours, the air becomes hot and humid, and the vegetation becomes thicker and more heavily grown. You have entered the jungle and crossed the border into Vinanathi.

Tender stares in awe at the thick, heavily grown jungle, her red eyes wide. "Is all of Vinanathi like this?" she asks curiously, glancing briefly back towards her companions before her gaze inevitably gets drawn back to the jungle. "I've never seen the like," she adds, mostly to herself.
"mostly. there are some less vegetated areas, but it is all jungle. just wait till we get to the towns. it is like nothing you have ever seen. the buildings, the food, the people. all works of art."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
"Oh, yeah, bugs are...," Tender makes a face, shuddering. "We had scorpions back home; I hated them. Giant spiders, too," she explains, still staring out at the jungle, all but gasping when she spots anything brightly-colored. "There were rumors of giant scorpions living beneath the sands, but I never saw one." For which she was infinitely grateful; the little ones were bad enough.
Fletcher laughs. "They aren't so bad. In my home town, the only bugs we had were June bugs. they appeared in august for a week, flew around, and then froze to death. they weren't all too bright."

Tender grins, though there's something somber behind her eyes when she glances back at Evi, though she turns back to the jungle quickly. "It's not so bad," she confides, her tone a bit softer. "I'm pretty sure the giant scorpions were just a story made up to make sure the acolytes didn't wander too far."
After initially joining in on the light conversation of the others, Evi eventually lost herself in thought as she watched the landscape change into the lush vegetation typical of the Vinanathi jungle. Shifting her gaze to the front of the carriage she sees something odd up ahead. "Does anyone else see someone waving wildly in the distance?"
(What are our options?)

Evi joins Tender in the cart secretly excited to not have to ride a horse again anytime soon.
(For clarification, are we only taking a carriage or individual horses too? I'm assuming just the former)

"Watch out for the bugs" Evi chimes in shuddering despite herself at the memory of one particularly large bug bigger than she was.
