Fletcher follows Evi, "Stay safe Kallista."

"I'll stay with Kallista and Jullar," Tender decides after a moment's thought, stepping over to Kallista's side. "Be careful, you guys."

(Hmm, how to handle this now... I guess I'll have someone from both groups roll like initiative, to see which group we handle first so I'm not doing two things at once)

(OOC - wait, did someone decide to travel back down the road? Cause I didn't read it as anyone specifically saying, "let's go check this out". Orimdal just told everyone that we saw stuff and to be careful. Do we want to travel back at this point? Why not get our stuff for Spiritfork and all head back down the road? Rather than back-tracking back and forth all the time?)

(Ooc: I'm fine doing it either way or however the DM prefers.  I think the conversation just lead itself in that direction but I agree that it's probably easier to complete one part before the other.)

(Yeah that does make sense. I was under the assumption that we were splitting up, Fletcher, Ormidal and Evi going back to find the creature and Tender, Kallista and Jullar going to find Frilis. If you all want to find Frilis before investigating the creature, that's fine we can do it that way. Either way is fine.)

Jullar leads you through the market place towards a rather tall, geometrically shaped building (something like an isosceles pyramid). The various merchants shout out to you, trying to gain your attention. They offer deals on their wares, which vary from simple weapons and light and medium armors to general adventuring gear. (If anyone wishes to stop to buy something that's fine) Jullar opens the door to the building, allowing you all to enter first. Inside, you see tapestries depicting great battles and terrifying beasts. Bookshelves line the walls, holding books old and new as well as small statuettes and crystal orbs that seem to hold swirling mists.

At the other end of the building is a desk with two tall candles lit. The light is blocked by the back of a massive wooden chair, ornately carved and facing away from you. Upon this chair sits an old man. "Who's there?" A voice calls out.

Fletcher speaks up "Hello! Are you Frillis longbeard?"

"Indeed I am. Who are you?" the voice responds

"We're friends of Orden's. I'm assuming you know him?" Without waiting for an answer, Kallista continues. "Splintfork didn't receive their scheduled delivery from your people and we were told to come speak with you about it."

"Ah, Splintfork. The Town of a Thousand Horrors. I believe a shipment was delivered this morning. Why did it not arrive?" The voice asks.

"The caravan drove right past them, and we found it abandoned a few miles down the road. There were no supplies in it, only bags of gravel and dirt. We don't know what happened."
