"Well, uh, I'm lookin' fer a warhammer if ya have one, or 'haps a battleaxe," Orimdal says, then looking down and somewhat ashamed, "Though I've no got a lot o' coin right now." He pulls out his gem, "I can really only offer ya this. It's worth 'bout ten gold. Fer ya handiworks o' weaponry. I'm loath ta give away such a gem, but I've no got much choice ta properly arm myself."

"I'd be interested in knives if you have any," Kallista says. She lost several of hers in a recent skirmish with some guards and was down to only two.

"That's not necessary my friend." The merchant says, waving his hands. "Whatever you're looking for, I'm sure we can work something out. If anything, my tribe needs some work done, perhaps you could help us out in lieu of payment." He offers.

"I've got knives of varying qualities. So the question is, what are you looking for?" The merchant says.

"Ones that I could throw. Something similar to this." Kallista places one of her own daggers on the table between them.

"If you have a small shield like buckler or something I'd also be interested in purchasing something."  Evi adds quietly.  With what she expected her near future to be like,  she thought a little extra protection probably couldn't hurt.

Orimdal nods, "I'd be happy ta offer my services, though we're needed elsewhere soon. What can I do ta help ya before I'm called away?" Orimdal fishes through his backpack for his smith's tools. "I'm adept with leather tools as well, but I've no got them with me, just my smithing tools ta make an' mend armour."

"Well first, for the ladies, I have..." The merchant begins fishing around under the table. He then places a small leather pouch, which he unrolls to reveal four daggers, and a small, well crafted shield. "This. Daggers are priced at 1 Gold Piece each, and the shield is 5." Then he turns back to Ormidal. "We have a number of jobs that need to be done. Anywhere from repairing some tools to crafting armor and weapons for guards across the Sea. Choice is yours."

Fletcher looks concerned. "We are kinda on a busy schedule. Is there anything fast that I could help with? I am.....I used to attend a smithy."

"Well, your schedule wouldn't interfere with any work. We have jobs all over. We don't just do business with Vinanthi, you know. We trade with Rauruth, Mazyliak, Noferamata, anywhere. If you're heading off somewhere else, there might be some work available there." The merchant replies.

"I'll take the lot. Thank you." Kallista scoops up all of the daggers on the table and slots them into her belt, then places four gold down. She turns to face the group. "I suggest taking up work once we arrive in Mazyliak. We shouldn't delay our departure longer than necessary."

"Thank you, ma'am. May Dissulo smile upon you." The Merchant says with a smile to Kallista.

"I'll take the shield as well."  Evi adds after inspecting the shield for the few moments, though to be honest she couldn't tell if it was of any real quality.  She'll then wait for the others to finish before leading them off towards where she had seen the creature.

Though disinterested in the weapons and armor, Tender enjoys looking around the stalls, though she doesn't wander far from her friends. "I agree as well," she puts in, stepping back up beside them. "Find everything you need?" 

Orimdal nods, understanding, "Yes, as my friend here mentioned, we're on our way ta Mazyliak an' short on time. I can look fer yer clansman there fer some work? Yer help is much appreciated, master smithy."

"Yes, of course." The merchant says. "My fellow tribesmen there should have a shop set up in every major city. Just look for this symbol, and you'll be good to go." He points to the banner depicting his tribe's insignia.

"We will." Kallista takes in the symbol for a moment, committing it to memory. "We really should be going now. Thank you again. Your daggers will be put to good use."

"Indeed, I hope so. Thanks once again for doing business with me!" The merchant says.
