 OOC: Well as far as AOE is concerned, I have a few spells that cover that. I think we should try and save both Gundren and Sildar if at all possible. Also did Murg tell Tagret about the layout of this cave system, and if so did Tagret convey this information to the group.

OOC: Post #212  ""The name is Murg," the goblin replies. "I don't know how many men he has, though it's probably less than twenty. His camp is at the end of the trail just over there..." Murg tries to gesture with his head, but ends up falling over again, knocking his head against boxes. He lies there for a moment, before trying to get back up again. OOC: With regards to other information, assume Tagret has relayed all of the informaiton that Murg has given him to date (traps on the path, guards at the mouth of the cave, Klarg is a bugbear) and note that finding out more about the caves is on the agenda, Tagret will want to know whether the tunnels are lit, how big the cave system is, any other exits, where Klarg is based and where Sildar is being held captive etc

As the party gathers for breakfast and begins to discuss options Tagret raises the name that Elmar gave them (post #217)  when he was asked about goblin activity "Elmar suggested we speak to Linene Graywind about the goblins in the area, so why don't we seek her out as soon as we are finished here....we can continue to make plans as we go." and to that point, Tagret will get the attention of the Inn staff and ask "Do you know where we can find Linene Graywind?" and if they don't know then Tagret will suggest that the group visits Elmar as soon as they are finished.

Tagret finds the proprietor of the inn that you spoke to last night, "Linene Graywind? Yeah, she runs the Lionshield Coster. That the trading poster just on the other side of the square. You probably past it on the way into town."

"My thanks" and Tagret settles up whatever is outstanding for the nights food and accommodation and then turns to the others "Shall we get moving then....first to Linene, then to Elmar and then back to see if we can free Sildar, although for that we might need some help, or a very good plan?"

Damian will follow Target's lead, "We should hurry along then." 

Saravena finishes her breakfast then leans forward slightly, "I have some ideas that could work, but not all of them are safe for our rescuee, others will depend on what we can find in town." Saravena lets out a large sigh, "If I still had my alchemical supplies I could have crafted something, we will just have to see what we can find."

Rashana take a sip of water from her cup. "I have all I need, but I can go with you to get the supplies." Then she looks at Damian. "I agree with Damian. We need to hurry to the cave. Not sure how much time we have left."

DM Note: Okay who is going to get supplies? And who wants to just go to Linene?

OOC: Given Tagret has very little in the way of gold he has little at his disposal, and the only thing of immediate value would be a healing potion.

I am all for visiting Linene before we go back past Elmar......

OOC: Just FYI - You should probably have a look at your character sheet with regard to;

1. Currently only have 15GP - certainly not enough for potions; and

2. You are already currently encumbered due to excessive volume of items that you are carrying (20 torches?, 20 days rations?, 2 x 50ft rope?, 2 x bedrolls, 2 x backpack, 2 x mess kit) - looks like you should be rationalising that down considerably.....

Can we just agree that we would be efficient with our time and go see whichever is furthest from the exit from Phandalin that  we will use (we would not waste time backtracking)

Eniwin agrees with Tagret on being efficient with our time.

Then in the case you're best of going to Elmar, then backtracking to Lenine and from their to exit

Then we head that way.

"If Lenine runs a trading post we might be able to find what we need there," Saravena comments, "the things I'm looking for are not too important if are aim is to get in, save Sildar, and get out."
