If Damian makes it past the rubble he will take a quick scan of the area.

Perception: 10

Rashana grabs on to her staff. "We should prepare to run in anytime. In case he got it trouble."

"I agree," Saravena nods tightening her grip on her crossbow. "But we need to be careful if we go in too loud it could lead to more problems for Damian. We still do not know what we are getting into in there."

Damian stealthily approaches the collapsed section of the northern wall and manages to safely pass the rubble. As he nears the gap he peers inside to inspect the place. However, Damian does not see anyone inside.

Damian will wave for the others to move up with him.

With one last look around Saravena moves forward to Damian as quietly as she can.

Tagret shakes his head and the Blacksmith, grips his javelin even tighter and attempts to move stealthily forward.

...and like all major check rolls before now, he completely screws it up....unbelievable!

Saravena and Tagret both make an attempt to stealthily approach Damian's position. However, they are not very careful as they cross the grasslands and bypass the rubble. Rashana, on the other hand, is much more careful in her approach.

As the rest of party catches up Damian will take a few steps in looking around. 

Perception: 8

Damian peers inside Castle Cragmaw he sees that this tower has almost completely collapsed, although the ground floor still has a little open space. Rotting crates and ancient barrels show that provisions were once stored here. A heavy curtain blocks a crumbling area to the south, and an intact door leads east.

Damian also notices two sets of muddy footprints near the eastern door.

Whispering “I see two tracks, can one of you more stealthy folks check it out?” 

With none of the others stepping forward, despite Tagret being prone to un-stealth he advances, drawing his two hand axes, and heads toward the curtain, figuring it is the least noisy of the two choices,  seeking to move to one side of it and listening intently before looking for a way to peer through any gap.

Tagret stealthily finishes the approach to the castle, and moving the curtain aside, he steps inside the castle without making a noise. Once inside, he too sees the sets of tracks that Damián spotted leading to the east door inside the castle.

OOC: To clarify, I was expecting Tagret to move to the heavy curtain to the South (ignoring the tracks for now), and see whether he could hear anything through that before taking a peek?

(Okay, just to clarify, the tracks that Damian has found are in the castle leading to the door to the east. If Tagret is seeing these tracks as well he needs to be looking inside the castle. Damian I believe has already moved the curtain to look inside?)

Sorry for any confustion - here is what I had interpreted from the posts....

Post #787 had Tagret, rather unstealthily, move up to the castle to join Damian, and from there post #795 assumes that Tagret joined Damien in the storage room and used stealth to move to the curtain to the South of this room to stop and listen (ignoring the door to the east for now), before seeking to peer into the space behind with minimal movement of the curtain.

(In the storeroom? I thought you were standing in the ruined tower? The room with the path to the north. Room number 11 in the following map.)

Agree it is room 11 (it looked like a store room to me).

Tagret was heading to the curtain in room 11 to the South....
