Xalkas finishes looking over his book just as Kaylessa approaches the table and almost absentmindedly says “How about the ‘Silvered Five’?”
Turning is attention to Kaylessa goes to say ‘Absolutely go right ahead’ and watches her sit before he can say anything. He accepts the complement of how the group handled the bandits with grace and humility giving a slight nod in thanks.
Whispering to Kerric, “Did I miss any more prattling from T'chal'fronack'zcinicker about contracts while I was reading?”
Xalkas wonders quietly to himself the same question Kerric asks aloud of the proprietor.
Sitting forward slightly and resting his elbows on the table and then resting his head on his hands, “Where might this Lance Rock be in relation to town?”
Responding quietly to Xalkas, Kerric says, "But of course, learned mage. Reghys seems to have diverted him for now, though, and look...Here comes the owner."

To make his stubborn struggle worthwhile, Reghys shakes on their agreement with T, before turning their attention to Kaylee. "This Lance Rock, is it far from here? I have to admit that in all of todays excitements, we have so far only purviewed the tavern and the inn, with a brief stint at the butcher's. Something I'm sure we will have to remedy in good time. Is there anything in particular you could recommend?"

Smiling at Kaylessa, Kerric says, “And here I thought you were going to have us investigate a mysterious kitchen accident. Is this Lance Rock a place best explored at night, or can we rest up and do some business in the morning first?”
To Xalkas, he responds, “I was thinking something a bit more mysterious, like maybe the ‘Argent Alliance’.”
“Argent Alliance...” Xalkas says considering the words after saying them aloud. “I like the sound of that one” looking at the rest of the group. “What does everyone else think of that?”
Kayless laughs "no i know the cause of that, poorly drafting chimneys was the culprit. Lance Rock is about 4-5 miles southwest of town im surprised you havent seen it if you came from the south. its very tall and slanted like, as if someone stuck a sear in the ground
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker waits for an answer from Kayless, though doesn't expect a particularly insightful response. Instead he smiles broadly at the shake of hands. "Argent Alliance, I like the sound of that. I'm putting it down." He looks up at Kayless, "You may refer to our assembly as the Argent Alliance if you wish."

”Sorry Xalkas!” She’d apologize as the wizard would make her aware she almost sat on him. Ebele would owe him another swig of her cider for that mistake.
Ebele would tilt her head in the direction Kerric’s voice when he would address her. She’d correct her posture to address him respectfully as he provided her with some praise. “Embracing a weakness can open up other strengths.” The monk would begin with a simple riddle of words, but they were truth. “Just as anyone else, I have good and bad days.” She’d admit, almost reaching down to rub the bruises on her shins. “I imagine, just as yourself, and the others at this table, I train to hone my skills. Although my sight is impaired, I am able to hear and smell better. With training, my kinaesthesia is sensitive, yet heightened.“ Ebele would offer the elf a small smile from the corner of her lips. “I practice ancient monk teaching and training techniques passed down for generations. Should you find yourself curious and willing to share training techniques, I’d welcome a sparring partner.” She’d nod to Kerric. Ebele had not gone without recognizing and appreciating the set of skills and assets he brought to the table either.
When Mr T would comment that she had wondered off somewhere, Ebele would lean in, “Perhaps T'chal'fronack'zcinicker‘s been so flustered today that he’s gone blind! How strong is this alcohol?” She’d jest before sitting back in her chair before grinning widely at no one in particular. She was at the right table, right? Or was she that illusive to their tiefling?
”Argent Alliance...” Seemed easy enough to remember. The monk would tap her nose in thought that it sounded like something strangely familiar to her but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it for the moment. Then she’d chuckle and shake her head to herself before addressing the others with a nod of approval.
"I have no special skill in unarmed combat, but I would welcome having a sparring partner, especially if we could use some practice weapons as well. What time of day do you usually exercise?" asks the warrior elf, finding a new respect dawning for this companion who not only is willing to better herself through discipline, but overcome a limitation to do so.

Could do wonders for my confidence, and when I'm confident, I can do wonders."
