After trying to dodge twice and failing, Kerric is reeling from two wounds. He rounds on skeleton number one and slashes at it with his Elven Curved Blade!
Elven Curved Blade: Attack: 17 Damage: 11
(If the next skeleton swings and hits, Kerric will Parry. If it doesn't hit, he will Riposte and use the Inspiration as necessary)
Parry: 7 damage averted
Riposte: Attack: 6 Damage: 9
(sorry for the manipulated die rolls. I decided not to use the inspiration die to add to hit with the riposte due to the very low roll)
Xalkas comes into the last chamber, panting heavily. “Why... did ... you ... go... ahead... without... us?” He manages to get out just before sending a ray of frost towards the remaining skeleton. Then spends the next few moments trying to recover his breath.
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker vows to come back with a mirror. And also to purchase a mirror. Dissatisfied with what he believes to be a complete bust follows Xalkas back the way they came and then follows him as he explores the last unexplored tunnel.
