Xalkas wonders why the hidden door leads to the wagonworks and investigates the wagon works trying to determine if the proprietor is involved somehow in the believers.
Looking to Kerric, “Seems rather odd that the wagon works has been closed all day ... the day after we encounter cultists in an underground area that leads to the wagon works ... most curious.” Xalkas waits for Kerric to weigh in and then walks around the building looking for a way in. Keeping an eye out for anything unusual or out of the ordinary.
After pacing the building and not finding an easy way in. Xalkas turns to Kerric, “Don’t suppose you’re able to break in to locked places? I just have this feeling like there’s some important bit of information we need in there somewhere.... though maybe it’s nothing.”
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker examines how the doors and windows are locked, looking for something he can either smash and/or break in order to gain entry... or an inside latch which mage hand could help with or what not.

”I would be reluctant to break into the Wagon Works without the constable’s direct order, as we only know that the proprietor, Ilmeth Waelvur, was supposed to receive a message from Rotharr Hatherhand delivered by his son Braelen,” the elven warrior suggests.
“We do know that Rotharr is a ‘believer’, and that the head priest cultist, Baragustas, was one of the town elders, so hopefully the constable has at least investigated the head priest’s house since he foolishly attacked us and met his demise. I was hoping we might find that lost message in the caves below, but the lad must have lost it somewhere else in town,” he concludes.

With the boys rushing and running around everywhere, Ebele decided to stay behind this time. She’d have settled in a quite corner to have been a spectator for Reghys.
Hearing his cohorts give up, Xalkas shrugs and heads back to his room and goes straight to sleep ready to begin the next days travel as early as possible.
Seeing Xalkas heading to his room immediately upon entry, Reghys didn't have to ask how the inquiries went... They played one more song, but before being embroiled in another tale, the satyr hops over to their blind friend in the corner. "Ebele, did you notice Xalkas making his way past? Something seems to weigh on him, and my music didn't help. Do you happen to have any more of your berry cider? I'd happily pay you a bit to bring to him, beyond what I already owe you for our bet, that is... Also, I know you might not see it, but feel the fabric on this overcoat I managed to get when out shopping with T... doesn't it feel great?" Reghys seems as mercurial as ever, barely able to hold focus long enough to finish their own strands of thought.

Ebele would tilt her head to face Reghys upon their approach. “I thought I heard some familiar little steps move with haste.” She’d respond to their first question, pondering for a second before moving on to the follow up questions. “He does seem quite eager to move on to tomorrow.” The monk would reach down to pull her wineskin from her hip. She’d give it a little jiggle to listen for the swishing. “There should be enough for another pick me up. But, I do believe I’m in need to begin a fresh batch.” She’d ponder a moment, wondering if she’d have the downtime or designated safe space to do so. The blonde was able to recover 1.5 pints of berries after all. Then, she’d wave her hand as if shooing away the offer to pay her to bring the cider up. Whether the others saw her as a paid partner or not, Ebele was genuinely content with them as acquaintances, perhaps even friends. She didn’t feel it necessary to ‘pay her to be a friend’. It was thoughtful of Reghys to suggest checking in with Xalkas and she agreed. “Any particular reason you’re sending me, instead of desiring to go yourself?” She’d ask simply out of curiosity, but was figuring it was because they wanted to continue their performance. She was happy to do it if they insisted. And if Xalkas hadn’t ate, she’d make sure to bring him a meal along with the cider.
Then when Reghys would jump on to their next topic, she’d cock her head in curiosity. She appreciated the satyr taking the extra step to point out their new overcoat to her. The monk would beam, just content to be included in their excitement for the new garment that she would not have noticed otherwise. When they’d suggest the feel, Ebele would reach a hand out to feel the fabric. The creases in her face would give away her expressions of sensation from the garment. “Ou! It does! What colour?” She’d coo in awe before smiling once more. So was this why Reghys was moving so much earlier? “And you said T went shopping with you? Have you both been dapper this whole time and I’ve been missing it!?” The monk would make an exaggerated gasping face before relaxing into a chuckle. “Thank you for sharing.” She’d say softly, perhaps even a little sheepishly.
At Ebele's question, Reghys gives a sheepish little grin of their own: "I just thought it would be easier, seeing it is your cider. But I'm happy to join the two of you, I'm pretty tapped out as far as performances go for the night. And yes, yes we have. The coat is a nice cream colour, and I added a new blue tunic underneath as well- It felt right, the colours of home, you know."

“It was your idea. I think you should definitely come. The more the merrier, right?” Ebele’s smile would soften as she’d pass her wineskin over to Reghys. She’d bring the meals. “I bet the blue really pops under the cream.” The monk would speak softly as she’d pause to do her best to imagine it. “Does it complement your eyes too?” She’d catch herself asking, not actually knowing what colour their eyes actually were. She’d stand up from her seat, ready to make their way to Xalkas’ room. “Maybe you both could pick out something colourful for me next time?” Trusting that Reghys knew how to compliment the colour blue, which seemed to have its own sentimental value to them and their home. Taking her time with meals in hand, Ebele would follow their satyr’s footsteps to Xalkas’ door when they were ready.
"The cream does, and blue and hazel work nicely too. And I'd love to get you something nice as well!" Ebele can sense that the satyr takes a few steps around her, before taking her hand and slowly twirling her before them. "With your lovely platinum blonde hair, I think something in fiery red with silver highlights would look delightful. Or, a deep blue with golden details... And as for fabrics, I would love to try and get you some linens and silk, to let you move and exert yourself without being hindered by your new clothes. What do you think?"
Excitedly, the satyr is slowly taking Ebele up the stairs towards Xalkas' room. Once there, they tap on the door: "Oh great and wize wizard, we humbly request your presence. There are some spirits we need to take care of, and we can only do so with your help!"

Hearing nothing specific other than the discussion of the people murdered by the Bringers of Woe, he is reminded how dangerous these cultists must be and sad that they are again a threat after all these years. Still, if ever a group were well-suited to going 'underground' for centuries at a time, it would be these Black Earthers...His sadness hardens to resolve, and he looks through the Dwarven book of genealogy, hoping that the descendants of the stout warriors depicted therein yet survive and can be found quickly. "Ah well, that is a problem for the morning," he thinks, and heads to bed early so as to be ready to start the search early in the morning.
