Mobile- You can hear what sounds like faint chanting from inside the temple, but no-one is in sight at the moment. There is about a 60 feet gap from the pillars that form the outer part of the temple to the edge of the chamber, and the pillars are about 2 feet thick and spaced roughly every six feet.
You would also spot a symbol carved into the roof of the temple- a five clawed talon on a blood-red circle.
(Just a heads up, will be visiting family over the next few days, so might be posting less than usual. I will probably have a bit of time here and there, just letting you know).
Mobile~ Sinsil appears wide eyed in the open chamber. "If I were a goddess, my temple would be made of this material." She says pointing to the black marble
Six stares up at the symbol on the roof of the temple, then glances over to Sinsil. "My new studious friend," he calls quietly, gesturing towards the symbol. "What do you make of this? I don't believe I have ever seen its like." He looks around once more, wide-eyed, his hand creeping up to hold the pendant around his neck. "Also, I believe I hear chanting coming from inside," he adds at a whisper, turning to look over at Ashanti and gesture towards the temple.
Mobile- Sinsil, looking at the symbol mounted on the temple knows exactly who this temple belongs to. The scaled tyrant, the five-headed wyrm, the queen of the chromatic dragons- Tiamat. You know she is a deity of evil, and nothing good can come from this activity in her temple.
Ashanti, listening carefully you can hear the rhythmic, harsh chanting of the creatures. There are at least five voices that you can make out.
Beyond the pillars, the floor is of smooth worked stone, heavily coated in dust and grime. Judging by the tracks of the creatures, they are the only ones to come here for a long time. Ahead of you, a massive stone staircase leads to the upper level. As you watch, a single large troglodyte appears and begins descending towards you. His chest is protected by a rusted breastplate, and he carried a notched longsword in one massive hand.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mobile- You watch the trog trying to process the situation, the sudden appearance of an enemy pointing a weapon. For a moment, it seems frozen. Then something about its stance tips you off- maybe the set of it’s shoulders, or the way it balances it’s weight- and you know its about to try something.
(Im going to get initiatives, to see who can act before the trog. Tristan has an action held, so he can attack before we begin our first round).

Ashanti waited, leaning against the pillar to see how their new friend would react to the challenge.

So Ashanti and Tristan will be able to act before the Trog. Just need the attack roll for Tristan’s held action, then we will go into initiative.
