(( Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that both hyenas are next to a party member, and he can approach one without being in range of the other; he's using Fancy Footwork to move out of melee range ))
Ashanti lunges with her lance, hitting the staggering Hyena in the centre of its mass. It gives a final grating laugh, and staggers a few steps before collapsing. Alkyn closes in on the hyena grappling with Tristan, and slashes across it's ribs, sending drops of blood spraying before backing off. Sinsil then releases her spell, and spectral hands erupt from the earth, clawing at his legs. He whirls around looking definitely bloodied.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
He's still up, just about, and is going to lunge at six again before using his full movement to try to escape. Attack: 18 Damage: 11 Six and Ashanti would be close enough to get an attack of opportunity.
Just enough! Your slash hits it in the side of the throat, and a fountain of blood sprays across the rocks. The hyena staggers a few limping steps back down the path, before collapsing limply. We are out of combat.
Alkyn frowns at the dead bodies, then at Sinsil, and finally at the horses.
"I don't know much about horses, but they likely need a longer rest. I suggest we run beside them as fast as we can, for as long as we can, then when we can run no longer, we ride...but as slowly as we think is safe. Gnoll's are likely tired too..."
He looks up the path, assessing the terrain. "I'll lay more traps in likely spots as we go" he adds.
"Even just making it looks like there's a trap will slow them".
He starts scuffing and smoothing the ground like something is hidden, and breaking saplings in a suspicious-looking manner. When he is done, he starts jogging down the path leading his horse.
Lucky for him, it's his turn.

....then he pulls his gun and shoots it in the face (Disadvantage due to close range)
Attack: 17 Damage: 5
“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
That'll hit. The bullet scores a line down the side of its jaw, and the pale hyena howls in pain and recoils.
Ashanti up next!
DM- Chronicles of Wildemount Campaign.
Alright, we’ll keep going and Ashanti can call her action later. Back to the top with Alkyn!
DM- Chronicles of Wildemount Campaign.
Alkyn draws his other sword and moves dexterously to the side of the nearest hyena, he strikes twice then dances gingerly to avoid being attacked.
Attack 1: Attack: 13 Damage: 5
Attack 2: Attack: 12 Damage: 1
If either hit, then add 9 damage.
(( Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that both hyenas are next to a party member, and he can approach one without being in range of the other; he's using Fancy Footwork to move out of melee range ))
Ashanti snatched up her lance and thrust it at the nearest creature.
Attack: 6 Damage: 8
(don't know if I'll have another time to post today so)
Sinsil will continue trying to chill touch the most wounded hyena.
Attack: 21 Damage: 3
All of those should hit!

"Okay, run or rest the horses for 10 minutes then rerun?"
" We're ahead of them even if we keep a steady pace we should reach shelter before they catch us....no need to sprint the horses."
She looked at the hyenas sadly, " Poor things, I'd rather of been killing their masters so they could have a decent feed."
"Yes, yes. Everyone loves animals, blah blah... Can we go?" Sinsil is incredibly nervous
Ashanti nodded, " True....you'd be the first to go...being entree sized."
"Precisely, so you will forgive me if when they catch up I season you myself." (Prestidigitation can flavor things)

" Something spicy please."
Alkyn laughs, "Do you think you could make the dead hyenas smell like fresh cut meat from a butcher? Might delay any other hyenas..."
