Hardouin takes the rope from his mount before tethering the draft horse. He hefts the log and, along with Gilda and Finbarr, follows Greze towards the section of wall he is scouting. Once the diminutive gnome has indicated that it appears safe, he will close the final yards to the wall and place the log ladder, noting its position for later. Taking the lead, he assails the wall.

Greze is just finishing up with securing his petite yet powerful Fjord Horse when Hardouin begins to dismount and do the same. A last few items for underground adventure such as Sebastian’s marvelous gifts and some mundane torches go into Greze’s pack. They make their way to the forest’s edge and Geze can’t help but notice the striking resemblance between Hardouin, carrying an entire tree trunk on his shoulder, and himself, carrying an entire (and very pointy!) wooden spear on his own shoulder. Feeling quite pleased with himself, Greze smiles and searches the wall, the ground below, and the distance between them and their target. He looks for any soldiers, guards, random roving nighttime predators, and any patches of poison ivy that they might otherwise blindly bumble into. “Yes, remember to be wary of the little things.” the little gnome whispers to himself, still smiling. He then catches the eye of Ilyaas some distance away. At the agreed upon signal, Greze approaches the wall, keeping his guard up and senses alert the whole time, watching, listening, and even sniffing for any sign of danger both on this side of the wall as well as the other.
Barnabus tethers his horse and carries Charlie teams log to the wall as quietly as possible. As everyone gets in position he raises his right index finger high. His axe and shield strapped to his back. He drops his hand to signal the attack. Up the log ramp he goes grasping the wall at the top and pulling hismself over just to drop the 10 feet to the ground on the other side. He immediately steps aside and readies his shield and axe. He awaits the arrival of the next in line.

Hornom seeing Barnabus set out towards the wall follows to his designated spot with his team's log. As soon as he's in position, he waves to Pomenia to go up whilst he braces the log. Once she clears the wall, Hornom motions to Voria and waits for her to clear the wall before following up himself. Once there he motions to Donell to come up and starts scanning around looking for movement and a way off the wall.
Pomenia clear the wall she sees a canvas "Roof" covering the section in front of her. she listens but hears nothing she then proceeds to slit the canvas to drop in. she is soon followed by the rest of Alpha team.
As soon as Hardauin gets into place with the ladder log, Greze scampers on up! When he gets to the top of the log, he is surprised by a remaining 4 feet of wall. He quickly looks over to see his Alpha and Charlie Team equivalents easily bound over the wall with nary a trouble in the world. Meanwhile, Greze reaches up, places both forearms on the wall above his head, swings his left leg up, and continues to heft himself up. During all this effort, he is struck by the most random thought. “This would have been so much easier if I were simply riding a bear up this blasted log! Oh well, perhaps one day I’ll learn to be my own bear. Yay druids. “ he thinks as he huffs and puffs at the top of the wall. Greze looks around at the surrounding wall areas as well as inside the walls to determine his next move.
Hardouin watches Greze’s struggle to ascend the last few feet, “The best laid plans” he mutters, about to order Gilda to give him a boost up when the gnome triumphantly summits the wall. He gestures for the troopers to go, finally following himself, surprisingly nimble for his size.
Bravo team slides in a few feet away from Charlie team. Both teams find themselves in a large room with plain wall of worked stone. In the center of the room is a large table and two chairs; spread out around the furniture in more or less organized fashion are hundreds of bits and pieces of broken pottery, rusted weapons, fragile skulls and bones, and other miscellaneous items. Leaning against the south wall, in plain view of anyone who enters the area, is a large spear that appears to be newly manufactured and unused. the shaft is made of light, relatively fragile wood. A few feet to the north west. Is a doorway apparently to a courtyard. There are Orc voices that can be heard in the yard.
Alpha team finds itself in a room with a few furnishings’ a cot is on the north wall. On top of the cot are 2 large throwing daggers. Along the wall are some boxes of food rations as well as a small pouch with dried animal dung in it, a vial full of blood, and a small tenser on a chain, with an eye symbol engraved on it, a table holds a small stack of books and papers. To the Southwest is an archway that was probably a doorway for double doors, the sunlight through it indicates a courtyard possibly and voices in Orcish can be heard.
Barnabus leans in close to Crindal and whispers, "On the boat you said you spoke Orc, do you know what they are saying? Also take a look at that spear. "

Crindal looks at the Spear "my spear! I made that spear, its my interpretation of what the spear looks like. It was stolen with all of our other research when my wife was killed." he looks down for just a moment, then snaps himself back. and move carefully closer to the doorway trying to listen
Barnabus waves a hand to get everyone's attention. Once he has every ones eye he passes on Crindal's assesment by pointing to his ear then holding up 4 fingers. He then holds up a single digit before miming someone sleeping.
