Darik feeling the warmth of Brida's clerical healing will awaken. Seeing the situation going reminds him of the first attack of the reds! He will stand gathering all of his strength [As a bonus action I'd like to use second wind to regain the hit point I lost!] he has while griping his great sword swing his hardest to hit this evil woman!
SWING AWAY [ Signs reference]
Second WInd: 8
OOC: [ I will be using the bardic inspiration I got earlier from Erevan for an attack roll!]
Hit : 7 + 2 = 9
Damage: 8
OOC:[ DAMN YOU, DICE ROLLER RUINING MY EPIC MOMENT!]
Sorry I did skip you in the initiative order. Ok your full action is to stand up from being prone and your bonus action is to use second wind to attack which fails? Roll again with advantage please.
[ If i can remember correctly is half movement to stand, living me with an attack action and second wind heals me for 8hp bring me back to 12hp. PG.190 of PHB getting up is half my movement.]

Darik: Ok I'll take that! So half-action to stand up from being prone, takes full action to stand my DM today who I will yell at so ah learning things, so you heal then attack? Re-roll the attack again anyhow unless you want the bad roll to stand?
Darik: Miss sorry! But Brida's mother seeing her melee fighter companion having fallen looks to her ranged fighter takes his turn, turning his bow to you 8 which misses you completely the arrow going wide and hitting the wall behind you.
Willow: You're up again, the fight is still happening!

A God-like voice echos out to Erevan: "Isn't the ranger unconscious not dead!" *DM wink*
Fiona: "Ggg...get out of my inn," she yells at the lot of you scrabbling to her feet. "Get out or the guard will have you in chains," she adds as the two stable boys come in to find the scene, then one runs back out and raises the alarm, a bell hanging outside of the inn!
OOC: just for reference this whole fight was about 30 mins having begun about midnight. Everyone got a short rest before but Erevan. Now really guys tho I'm running on fumes lol g'nite
Darik will keep his guard up. Darik will look at Brida disappointed and upset!
Dark: "Brida... I thank you for your clerical healing but you have our lives in your hands! You asked us to help you deliver this thing without tell us what it is and I understood this so I did not want to bring it up because our job was to escort you! I won't lie (looking at the party) I could not bring myself to trust any of you but after what has happen... I will gladly take any killing blow for any of you! With that said Brida, I WILL NOT LET YOU PUT OUR LIVES IN DANGER WITHOUT KNOWING THE CAUSE, clearly this is no ordinary offering! If your "mother" were to return are you willing to sacrifice your companions (specifically pointing at Aldaryn) for a mother who would clearly kill you without hesitation! YOU ARE NOT FIT TO LEAD, if you allow your emotions to cloud your judgment! Darik heading towards the stairs( begins to sense he's had this conversation before something in the back of his mind reminds him of a scene where a Silver Dragonborn telling him the same thing.) Saarebas look after them while I gather our things. (Placing a hand on your shoulder)"

Hearing the Inn keeper threaten us with guards Darik gives her a look of grief.
Darik: "We will leave but know this was not our intentions, If I remember correctly we were not the ones to start this and my companion and I defended you from harm. I am sorry for the other fellow but do not blame us for things we can not control." Darik not waiting for a response continues up the stairs.

Erevan collects his things and gears up. "Fiona, you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your brother in law. We'll go if that's what's needed, but we're taking this one with us." Referring to the unconscious elf. "Is anyone injured?"
All of you are able to gather your gear and Fiona make sure the horses are ready for you to leave having seen some sense that the only reason why she's alive is because of your protection! Aldaryn, still extremely injured, is given Brida's horse and gets on. Brida remains silent to all of your questions and comments. She looks distant clutching her hole symbol mumbling to herself as if having a conversation with some unseen being. You have to admit is a bit unnerving having seen a woman she called mother seemingly deranged and now her daughter arguing with the air! Aldaryn however regardless of how injured he looks keeps trying to catch Brida's attention but she does not meet his eyes! She does not meet the eyes of anyone else in the party as you move away from the inn/tavern. After getting on your horses Willow is offered a seat behind Erevan on Shadow. Into the damp early morning Brida walks beside the horse that Alardyn is seated on. She has still said nothing.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Darik was the first to join this adventure and has always been by Brida's side but now he has moved to the front and ask Saarebas to stay close to her. It's clear he's in no talking mood. He's keeping watch [and remembers the captured enemy.] He will look to Erevan and motion him to join him.

[Darik: " I don't think its a good idea to take this guy with us. We should find out what he knows and kill him here and now."]
OOC: [ We took the ranged elf during all of this yes? I have things in brackets until conformation. ]
OOC: You guys organized to take the elf ranger with you although Brida gave you no feedback otherwise.
Darik: You are not attempting to whisper this conversation all the party heard your words. PS Who's Felix?
Brida having overheard you speak this way seems to snap out of her malaise when Aladaryn, who also heard your talk about the prisoner, pulls up on the reins stopping the horse in the road he and Brida at the head of the column.
"Yes, question him yes but you will not kill him," Brida says with a stoney tone you've never heard before as she clutches her holy symbol so tightly her knuckles turn white! "I explained before in coming here you would be providing protection to transport an item from my village to Feirm. If you want to break your word after the first signs of real danger than do so and walk away. You will not harm that man (who's still unconscious by the way) even if he doesn't provide the information you think he should," she adds in a firm tone her expression hard for the first time ever no trace of the jovial young half-elf you've known so far. Looking to Willow, Brida thanks her for the healing draft she gave to Aladryn and looks up at the party. "I apologize about before," she begins again tone steady, expression soft. "My mother died when I was a child or so I was told," she explained. "I did not know she was still alive let alone would be seeking the gift that I assure you belongs to my order as well as the people of Carrowkeel to give to Chauntea herself," she adds firmly. "If you doubt my words please leave now," she adds next releasing her holy symbol that seems to glow slightly, with an odd radiant energy before fading!
Aldaryn remains in the saddle but has turned the horse to flank Brida as if giving his silent obedience and staring out at all of you standing in the road with the morning sun rising behind them ahead.
