Erevan: "Come inside, I know exactly what you're looking for," Brida replies impishly before standing up and gesturing at you to follow her inside the temple!
Aldaryn laughs following her in as well.
OOC: Do you follow?

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Erevan: Brida leads you into the temple down a corridor towards the mess hall which you pass. She then stops at a set of stairs turning to face both you and Aldaryn with a grin. "We'll either get a bottle or three from Brit if he's here but Erevan it'll take your charm on Greta to even get one," she explains before going down the steps. Once you reach the bottom of the steps you hear Brida give a loud sigh. "Ah Greta!" Brida calls out to a y'all thin full elven woman who gives the whole group a hard look over her glasses before closing a book before Brida turns to you and waffles her eyebrows at you.
A half-elf dressed in dusty scale armor approaches the temple with a lead, pulling a mule and cart behind. The elf isn't particularly tall, but appears to be strong and healthy. What little bit of skin can be seen looks pale, as if the man has rarely been outside. A shield strapped to his left arm bears the signet of White Spear, overlain with the sigil of Chauntea. It's not a difficult conclusion from any onlooker that this is a messenger from Feirm, bearing the offerings of their city.
The cart is loaded with offerings for the Goddess Chauntea from White Spear. Wheat, fruits, nuts, and all manner of other agricultural goods can be seen piled high upon the cart.
The cart rolls to a stop before the temple of Chauntea.
Bowing low, the half-elf calls out, "Greetings to the honorable temple. I come bearing offerings for the ceremony." Looking around for anyone who looks less lost than himself, he calls out. "I am Pitero Twigsnapper, cleric and humble servant of Chauntea. I ask no thanks for our humble offering, but would beg for water for my mule and myself."
OOC: Nice to meet everyone. Feel free to nudge me if I get anything wrong. I'm a bit nervous, but very excited, too!
Erevan/OOC: you're trying to charm Greta for wine you're not even there!
Pitero: You see a black dragonborn, the first you've seen EVER, and a half-orc amongst many other humans and half-elves with a few halflings scattered throughout the crowds. You are then approached by a human Chauntea acolyte who takes the reigns of the mule then leads it away.
I'm going to guess Greta will turn out to be the rather stern cleric I saw in the mess hall this morning?
"Greta, I've found ales and meads disagree with my throat and affect my singing. Could I have a few bottles of wine so my companions and I can properly enjoy the festival?" Persuasion: 15
"I can see you're not one to be flattered. Shall I try again?" Without waiting for an answer Erevan launches into a happy tune with some traditional elven timing, and undertones reminiscent of the forest in springtime, whistling birdsong in counterpoint. Performance: 9
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hmm, not into the traditional thing either eh? How about this:" Erevan launches into a bawdy tavern tune he overheard while walking the streets of town today, and for the first time you've heard, actually sings the vocals.
"There once was a girl from Sul Da Mar...." Performance: 18
Saarebas will approach the half-elf man and say "Hey, another out of towner. Join the festivities, get a pint of ale. It's great stuff." Saarebas will point out where the alcohol is being distributed and attempt to guide the man towards it.
Pitero follows where Saarebas leads him. “I’ve never had ale before. Is it a type of juice? I hear there are many fruits here which aren’t available near the coast.”
OOC: Pitero is naiive, having never been exposed to any alcohol other than small portions of wine distributed at ceremonies. He’s in for a treat. :)

A little confused by his questions Saarebas just says "Sure, its a juice. It comes from the very grains itself." He'll hand Pitero a pint. "Now, drink up. And whats this you mention about a coast are you from a port city?" He'll say with some glee in his voice.
Darik enjoying the festivity notices Saarebas approach the new guest. Will continue to drink ale and watch folks dance when he notices he's out of ale. Getting up Darik will head towards Saarebas and the new guest.
Darik: "Ah! Saarebas! Getting ale for the new guest. (Clearly he's been drinking he's never this loose. Brings up his mug towards Saarebas!) I seem to be out as well mind refilling mine too!"
Hearing Saarebas question will ask him questions too.
Darik: "Have you seen any others like myself during you travels?"
Erevan: laughing loudly Greta gives you a bottle, " take this and go practice," she exclaims wryly giving Brida a curious look before ushering you all out if the cellar!
"She's not easily pleased but I found it...interesting," Brida says in an attempt to console you.
You all go back up the stairs and outside to find Darik and Saarebas speaking to a stranger.
"Now who might this be," Aldaryn says a loud looking curiously to Brida.
"Only one way to find out," Brida exclaims socially leading the group toward their party and the newcomer.
Exchanging a known greeting between Chauntea clerics Brida offers her arm to the cleric with a bright smile. "Peace be with you! May Chauntea's blessing fall upon you always," she says eyeing the cleric quizzically having never met a cleric from the coastal reaches before!

Pitero takes the ale, and sips it curiously. He coughs, blinks in surprise a few times, then drinks heavily from the mug. Turning to Saarebas, "Juice from the grains, indeed!" Thinking about Saarebas's question, he points to his shield, bearing the signet of his home city. "I'm from White Spear."
Turning to Darik, he says, "No, indeed, fellow celebrant. Thanks to circumstance, I have now met you, though." Realizing he's not got the names of either of his companions, he adds. "I am Pitero. May I ask the privilege of knowing your names?"
Whether Saarebas and Derik answer or not, Pitero is not phased. He turns to Brida as the others approach. Responding to Brida's greeting, he answers in an outdated historic response. "Peace is ours to bring. May Chauntea's blessing fall upon you always."
Pitero no longer knows where to look, with so many celebrants around. Not knowing what else to do, he drinks from his mug, now nursing it a bit, to make it last.
