Homebrew: Totem of Carrowkeel

OOC: Add your temporary hit points. What's the plan guys?

"Andulra, hand me the totem the Cleric was carrying." Erevan  ritual casts identify on the totem then hands it back. "OK, hold both of the stones together and focus on them. Do you feel a tugging?"

"Which direction does the stone pull too?"

Andúlra holds the stones together and closes her eyes. She concentrates focusing all her energy on the stones in her hands. After a few moments she begins to feel a tugging in her hands. 

She turns to Erevan, “It’s working!”

“Erevan, did you find out what two stones we found?” Andúlra asks. 

OOC: First stone is earth.

The second stone as Erevan focuses, the pearl puffs and owl feather disappears, realizes is the totem for fire! The carving throbs with a bright red aura.

Andulra the stones (in your hand) are warm to touch and they pull you towards the village below. Its too great a distance to be exact, you'll have to get closer to be sure where the third is located!

Following Andulra's gaze toward the village, Erevan  looks to Saarebas  and Darik, "to the village then, which of you will lead us?"

Erevan will travel toward the middle of the group, keeping an eye out for hazards along the way. Perception: 13

I’ll go first since the stones are leading us, Andúlra says as she heads towards the villiage. 

She walks to where her bag is and puts it on her back. She made sure she packed it well. 

As the party descends the hill through the wards to the south with the hidden passage through a stand of trees Erevan hears the faint movement ahead towards the village. From the trees you notice shambling figures, less than a dozen are milling around the village square. The sky is overcast and gloomy over the village where in the sanctuary of Eldath the day time skies were always clear and blue. It is nearing 10 am in the morning.

Darik will let Saarebas take the front with Andulra, and he will follow behind Erevan. Darik will keep look out from behind making sure no one sneaks up on the party. "Let us tread carefully."

Erevan points out the shambling figures to the rest of the group

Saarebas will be in the front with Andurla keeping an eye out for any dangers while she is busy focusing on the stones.

Brida says in a hushed tone that she recognizes some of the corpses walking about. It seems those who weren't disintegrated or escaped were otherwise turned. Undead seem to move freely about the streets, only a few purple and black robe glad acolytes wander the village moving freely amongst the dead.

Standing out most is a hooded figure walking among the dead and acolytes in the direction of the smouldering temple, the dead turn and follow the figure as it passes while the acolytes move on with unknown purpose.

From the stand of trees where the party has clustered to the village is about 30ft before reaching the cover the backside of various shops that line the square. All activity seems to be gathering towards the temple.

Andulra you feel the tug of the stones to the west of the village away from the activity at the temple, what do you do?

What's the plan?

“We should gather all the stones first and avoid any unnecessary fights. It looks like the temple is going to be more secured than last time and we’re going to need all the power and help we can get to bust through that door.”

Darik nodding to Saarebas's words "I agree let us get these stones first and then head back to the temple. I am not very stealthy due to my armor so let's keep that in mind if we decided to move through the village."

Andúlra goes where the stones are leading her. She agrees the stones must be the first priority. 

OOC: May I suggest rolling Sleath if you're moving forward from the treeline towards the buildings!
