Leovold will reload and take another shot at the nearest orc.

Leo with Numquam's help, takes a shot over the group and blasts the orc right in front of Nimue 8 damage. This finishes him off.

Nimue sees Leo's shot and capitalizes on the free line of sight and shoots the orc in the northwest corner for 9 damage.

Dusty follows up Nimue's shot with a ring of the bell at the orc in the northeast corner for 6 damage. This finishes off the orc in the northwest corner.

There are now three orcs remaining and they throw their javelins at the passengers while staying at distance.

 Orc's 1 and 2 throw two javelins at Leo but they both miss their mark. Orc 3 throws a javelin at Dusty but this also misses.

Nimue says "Well you know I am kinda liking using this loud boom contraption" She gets Magis to help her and she raises the gun and fires at the Orc in the northeast corner.

This attack had a lot of zip on it, but it barely missed the Orc's head.

" They certainly seem effective for this kind of thing. " Leovold says as he is reloading. He rolls up into a firing position in the wagon again and fires off at the orcs once more.

Leovold releases takes his time and waits for Numquam to aid him in his attack before letting lose a shot that hits Orc 1 for 11 damage. 

Dusty takes the opportunity to toll of the dead, but these orcs are quite wise and he plugs his ears before taking damage.

The three orcs remaining throw their javelins at the passengers while staying at distance.

Orc 1 takes revenge against Leovold for shooting him and throws a spear hitting him for 5 damage.

Orc 2 see Dusty is distracted on another orc and throws a spear that hits him for 6 damage.

Orc 3 throws a spear at Dusty, but he is able to block it in time.

Nimue sees her party being destroyed by the orcs attacks and says "Alright... No more missing! Magis lets get him!" She gets Magis to help her and she raises the gun and fires at the Orc in the northeast corner.

But her over focus causes her shot to go way high and she misses her mark again.

Nimue lets out a disappointing sigh as she reloads the gun.. She says "I feel like my good luck was just taken by those orcs...."

Don-Jon makes a hard right along the road at high speed. "Sorry, fellas. That throw your aim off any!? We be there soon. Just get these orcs away from the wagon! 

The firefight gets increasingly tense. Birds fly off from the trees in the nearby Neverwinter Wood after an audible crash. 

The wagon continues to zoom along the road, but three orcs keep up with its speed with javelins ready. "Taag Dok!!!" (Dusty Flodes translator: "Kill them!!!") 

Dusty and Leovold are up!

 Dusty finishes off one of the orcs will his bell. 

The two remaining orcs approach the wagon with their axes.

 Don-Jon is slashed for 7 damage.

Leovold is cut for 12 damage. 

The orcs are in melee range on the sides of the wagon. Everyone can post. 

"To hell with this rifle" Leovold grabs the battle axe, creates a clone that runs at the other orc and unleashes incarnation to flash at them both.

Nimue is obviously frustrated but grabs the rifle one more time and says "Aim true... I won't miss this time! Magis now!"

Numquam flies by the approaching orc and pinches at it with its beak. The orc looks to brush off the bird, but is then slashed in the face from Leovold's echo! It falls to the floor dead. 

Leovold slashes at the remaining orc directly in front of him, putting it in a critical state. Nimue blasts at it at point blank range, causing its blood and guts to splatter on the wagon. 

"Aw man, I just got this thing washed!" yells Don-Jon. 

The party has gained 450 xp. 

With the immediate threat dealt with, Don-Jon turns into the Mountain's Toe Gold Mine. They stop at an overlook above the mine. 

"Shh shh shhhh...." Don-Jon makes a whispering gesture with his finger to his lips. The party crawls up and looks down to the entrance of the mines from above. A battered man can be seen tied to a tree outside. A nearby lone wearrat patrols from this location to the entrance of the mine. "Y-y-y-you'll be one of us soon, friend. The Whiskered Gang owns this mine now!" it says. 

"Whaddaysay, fellas? I'm not sure if any of you are the negotiating type, but I say we take than one out from here and gun down the rest when they come." Don-Jon loads his rifle. 

(ooc: Don-Jon is equipped with the rifle that Leovold dropped. However, it currently holds no magical ammunition.) 

"You guys wanna rest real quick you can too. I keep a look out." 

"Yes, let us all rest. Including you. My raven Numquam can keep watch for us."

“Anyone not feeling up to par after that rest?  Let Dusty know and he’ll give you a little healing.”

Nimue comes up after the rest and says "Well, I hope everyone is rested as well. With Magis and Numquam surveying, I believe their hideout will difficult to fight in. They also out number us and can easily surround us. I think we should try to funnel them out through the door way, but we will need to plug it early. Dusty, you have that mithril chain to help you move quietly... Let me cast invisibility on you and you can move to the mouth of the cave to hold it until the rest of us get into position. Once Leo is there, you can fall back and both of you can hold the entrance. I can also use my ravens to distract the patrolling wererat. With invisibility and the birds running distraction, hopefully you will be able to get into position to reduce the rate of their reinforcments." 

Nimue looks around at the group and says "Well? Any complaints??"
