Con save (advantage from spellguard shield)
22
Saved, for half the damage
Firebolt would have disadvantage from the shield so even if blinded, no advantage and it's a miss.
Zorg again casts invisibility and ... End of turn.
Also, please make the same save against sunburst if it was centered on Zorg, as you are also in the 60ft sphere of the spell you cast, unless you inteded to say that you cast it behind him, which would avoid that.
Thinking himself invisible, Zorg has run behind an object near his flying foe. Realizing his folly as he notices his green hand, he hops right under his adversary and leaps 15 feet straight up, grabbing his foe's ankle with a crackle of lightning pulling him down 10 ft. So he can grab his foot. Using mage hand legardemain, he pulls out a vial containing essence of ether and popping it open.
Strength DC 17 to avoid being pulled down, 1 lightning damage on failure.
DC 15 Con save or sleep for 8 hours. Mage hand can reach the full 30ft, so a strength save still requires the Con save.
<Ooc> For the record, I did get approval from the GM for this, but because I don't want this outcome to have an asterisk, let's discuss: The wording of mage hand legardemaine is tricky, "you can use the bonus action granted by your cunning action to control the hand." Upon review, I will concede that initially casting mage hand is an action. However, mage hand has a duration of 1 minute, no concentration and, while invisible earlier, mage hand was used in PM with the GM. Based on this new understanding of the requisite steps for using this feature, though, that use would have also been illegal. Pending approval by the GM, I propose this retcon - mage hand was not previously used, its action while invisible did not take place, <end ooc>
Edit: Zorg summons a spectral hand to pour a sack of MALICE on the man thirty feet above the grung (DC 15 Con), then retreats back behind the box from which he sprang, and attempts to hide (subject to GM approval). Stealth: 23 (min 20 via reliable talent).
<ooc> I would suggest the altitude grants advantage on a perception check, or circumstances may invalidate the attempt in the first place, tbd.
Ooc: having passed the blindness save, we can just assume the conditions for the hide check were not met. My concern was that you would have a way to rapidly remove the condition to no benefit.
Even with a save I'm done. 4 die rolls that last turn never came up over a 12. A tricky grappler who doesn't fly does not fare well against a flying counterspell spambot. With a bit of luck things could have gone differently, but instead of hiding for 10 rounds in the beginning and waiting out the flying, I thought I'd have fun with it. Congratulations.
