“ Thanks Leo. I don’t know about the rest of you boys , but I don’t plan on sleeping in the dingy corpse filled room though . Give us half an hour and I’ll be good t’go”
Spending some time moving the corpses to one room you find a series of bed chambers adjoining the throne room. You are able to bed down and rest, Eoan and Leo splitting the watch, their elven physiology only requiring 4 hours each to get fully rested. You awaken refreshed and having snacked on travel rations are ready to continue exploring.
You head out into the corridor where Carilius finished off the bandits and head west. You walk along a pillared corridor, past a rotting corpse of a human, it’s body covered in bite marks where the rot is not prevalent. You open a door on the corridor (10)
Skulls tumble into the hall when the door to this 10-foot-square room is pulled open. The entire room is filled to the ceiling with the skulls of dead adventurers and other humanoids who crossed Halaster. Thousands of skulls have accumulated here; they’re harmless, if a bit macabre. The cubicle contains nothing else.
At the end of the corridor is another room, inside is a copper throne coated in cobwebs, upon which rests a copper crown
Eoan during his watch shift expunges the life of another rat from his bag to maintain touch of death through the rest and cuts a lump of flesh from one of the bandits to feed the remaining 3 .
Approaching the throne Eoan takes the crown from the chair and spins it between his palms before sitting on the throne and placing it on his head with a care free laugh . “Does it suit me lads?”
There is nothing remarkable about the copper throne or helm, and neither object detects as magical. But if a character wears the helm while sitting on the throne, a tube-shaped compartment in the ceiling above opens and a wand of secrets falls out onto the character’s head (which the helm conveniently protects). There is a low rumble as another shelf slides open, to the left of the throne. Inside Eoan can see a wicked looking spear.
Picking up the spear before he gets up from the throne and inspecting it closely . Removing the crown and laying it back on the seat with the wand . “Well what have we here ?!”
You backtrack back to the pillared corridor. It opens into a wider one with ornate doors at the far end. There are 38 statues lining the walls and three giant spider carcasses by the doors.
As you near the doors at the far end of the corridor a rune glows above the archway and a bolt of energy lances out and strikes Leowin. There’s is a Puff of smoke and then a cackling noise as a small goblin appear, carrying a satchel. “Ello my little cockwombles! I’m ‘ere to carry the new masters crap. The rest of us can sod off tho!” The goblin looks lovingly up at Leowin “Greetins new master me names Boblin and I’m ‘ere to be your loyal man servant”
Leo looks to his new companion. I agree. Il take first watch as do not require sleep.
Leo then progresses to find as many in broken arrows that he can to replenish his dwindling supply
I could certainly use a break, I'm all but spent

Eoan stands in the corner of the room testing it out . Shadow boxing and focusing entirely on how the spear feels.

Eoan bursts into laughter and smiles at Boblin “ And he’s to trust you and give you his possessions to carry ? “
insight check to see if he’s actually loyal 23
Boblin thinks you’re all ******** but is under some kind of magic geas that means he has to be nice to his master and look after their stuff
“ fine, you fugly little pack mule. One wrong move and consider yourself skewered though.”
Boblin pokes a tongue out at you while flipping the bird and then huddled by Leowins leg.
You have a door to your left (14) a door to your right (15) and the door the magic bolt flew out of (16) which way do you want to go?
