Entering the shop you hear the working of metal in a forge at the rear of the store. Oddities and knickknacks line the shelves, you see a grizzled one eyed dwarf stood behind the counter polishing a gem. “Eh? Customer? We were about to close fer the evening but coins coin. Come on in what can old Gotri do for you?”

Good evening master Dwarf. I’m looking to either purchase new armour or improve my current one. Do you have anything? 

“Well let me have a look at you.....why on earth is a sneaky fellow like you wearing half plate?!” The old dwarf exclaims “ You’d get better protection from this lightly enchanted studded leather. Don’t worry sir half elf I have spares..” he interjects seeing Leowin in the background. “You’ll be lighter in your feet so stealthy movement won’t be an issue and it’ll still be better protection that what you are currently wearing. What do you say? I’ll throw in two sets, one for each of you, for a thousand gold. I’ll take the half plate as a part trade so say 800 for the lot?”

Placing his Moon-Touched sword on the counter, Carilius addresses the dwarf, I too would be looking to improve my armours properties, or maybe this shield, I’d be happy to trade this sword towards part of the cost 

“Yes thats a good quality sword for sure, i can see you’ve managed to disrupt the curse that was placed on it too which increases the value substantially. Let me have a look at your equipment and see what we can do.” Gotri spends a few moments looking you over. “Enhancing half plate is very expensive. The shield I can replace with one that’s already got an enchantment on it. I have two options for you both the same cost. One improves your overall defence and the other heightens your reflexes and your awareness. Do either of those sound appealing?”

Think I’ll take the second option for that one and though probably not worth much I’ll put this shield towards the cost also

“Splendid splendid. It’s normally 700 but with the trade in for the sword I’ll be willing to take 100 gold for it? Sound good?”

Good sir, might I trouble you for something to increase my nimbleness? I am tired of getting hit so often and armour doesn't agree with my fighting style.

Or alternatively, if you have something to help me fell foes with staff or foot, that would be equally lovely. 

“Hmmm a tricky one for an unarmoured fellow like yourself. Maybe this cloak?” Gotri reveals a cloak with runes of protection woven along the hem. “It’s worth 550 gold but will assist in turning away blades”

Jhee-Kharr' eyes light up and he gets out his moneybag

Eoan wandering in late to the party leans a hand on Jhee Kharrs shoulder looking at the cloak with approval .  “ that’ll work nicely for you mate . You’ve got some fine wears my dwarven friend . Anything that might make me faster on my toes?  Personally I’d sooner not get hit then have to weather the blow.”

Leowin eyes the new armour before turning to the shopkeeper with a sceptical expression.

"That does look like fine armour, but the price seems steep. Is that really your best offer?"
