Having finished their brief rest the group pack their belongings and continue heading south until the corridor ends. The door is open into the room beyond, the only sign of the goblins retreating earlier. The room beyond is empty save for two stone pillars halfway in the room, the pillars are 10ft thick each and support the ceiling. At the base of each pillar is a skeleton, the skulls revealing the orcish origins of the deceased. To pass through the next door you will have to walk between the two pillars. Advancing forwards Sig leads the way.
You pass through space between the pillars. A faint tingling sensation crawls over your skin with no noticeable effect for most of you. Jhee-Khar however has a slightly different outcome. Passing through the pillars you fade from view. Something has cast Invisibility on you. For the next hour (or until you attack something) you are invisible to the naked eye

Goodness, I seem to have come down with a bout of the old transparency! Haha. Well, let's not look a gift horse in the mouth and see if we can put this boon to some use. I shall take the lead!
Jhee-Kharr moves ahead with an invisible spring in his invisible step, looking out for danger or ne'er-do-wells
Passing through the door into the next room you see the skeleton of a tiefling manacled to a wall. The skeletons legs are missing and something is written in infernal above it on the wall in what appears to be blood.
Sig walks over. “I know a spell that will allow us to ask 5 questions of the dead but if I cast it I will not have enough energy to cast a resurrection spell if ones of you falls. I will leave it to you what you would like me to do”
“Well I’ve got no plans of dying just yet. I reckon we have a chat with our friend here. “ looking around his companions for other opinions . “ At worst Sig, it means we don’t get 2 lives to your 1. Seems fair to me.”
“Alright. You’ll have 5 questions you can ask the dead while I maintain the spell” Sig spends a few seconds muttering an incantation and a pale light envelops the skull of the skeleton. It moans as the animating spirit is temporarily returned to it. What do you ask it?

Eoan spends some of the time alone laying traps for rats with small helpings of his rations . Catching them and placing them into a bag .
Survival 14
He manages to catch 7 Rats
Eoan piles 4 of the 5 rats into the bag and knocks out the last one to gain 9 temporary HP using touch of death ( ooc... sorry animal lovers )

Carilius gratefully accepts the shield before settling himself down, laying his longsword in front of him and begins a pact ritual.
Eoan turning slowly and looking around assessing the situation , confused . “ um ... well that’s different... Jhee-Khar?”
Yes? Is something wrong?
“You tell me big man.” Turning the head of his spear sideways to where the voice came from so Jhee-khar can see a reflection in the blade of nothing.

Well, this is rather unsettling, either that or he had a very good night. Carilius then looks up at the blood written words
“Talk to me”, hmmm unfortunately the ability to talk to the dead is beyond me

My fellow, how did you come to such an end?
