ooc: I'm off to bed, Probably pick up in the morning for a bit before i go to work, give a little more narration about what's going on in the town immediately around you all, and give you a chance to discuss your plans with each other regarding the attack on the town. just one last thing:
DMINC: As you begin to make your plans, Thurk says,"Jhoni, I would ask that we go to your ship, either before or after we retrieve Androll's weapon. I have something that will help us, provided your ship is still seaworthy by the time we get there." He turns to Mool and nods, and for a brief second Mool looks angry, then a calm, slightly sad expression washes over his face. He returns the nod to the Illithid, and returns his attention to calming the remaining refugees from the courtyard battle.
Tlak-Shik says to his companions as they hurry to Mool's chambers, "All honorably fighting welcome are they with us. Looking has naught to do with steadfastness, companion or co-operativeness. Good comes in guises as evil." His tone is calm but firm and carries great conviction. He projects to the others, Fighting evil is the true heart of a warrior, the outward appearance of such a one is irrelevant in most situations.
"Mib must be to light bringing," he gestures to the chaos unfolding in the city. "That must be stopped, nothing else matters at the moment." It is almost impossible to interpret Tlak-Shik's expressions, but his tone of voice leave no doubt about his priorities. He moves with speed, but with gracefulness for one constructed as his is.
"Ok, I have a concept of a plan" Righteousness speaks by the door, waiting for the others; "go to the catacombs, get that crossbow, kick these ugly, Chaotic evil monsters out of the town, make sure the ship is fine, Then find Mallifax and beat the shit out of him!" he uttered that last part somewhat quickly. "Sound good?" and he flashes a not-quite-true smile.
Seemingly ignored by Tlak- Shik, Elric goes the rest of the way in silence. Once at the top he listens to what is said and nods. Things were starting to make a bit more sense, but not completely. The yells of Orcus and the fact that the Silver Hand was here meant that there was something a lot bigger than a dragon return happening.
Elric Scoffs a bit at Ai'ryn's venomous words pointed at Thruk and shakes his head a bit. "Let us go then, and take care of what needs to be done."
The Albino Half-Elf was beginning to feel a bit out of place. No one had even talked or acknowledged him other than the Blue bois he had encountered at the gate and the shop keeps. He shook it off as he walked. He had a duty to uphold, he had to do everything he could to help as many as he could. He strengthened his internal resolve, never letting any of his alienation visibly show. Thruk seemed to have it a bit worse seeing as some others did not like or trust him, or Tlak who was a bit of a fish out of water. He put himself out of his mind for the duration and stops making attempts to talk to any of the others unless spoken too, more focused on the task at hand as he heads to the catacombs.

OCC all of Tlak-Shik's commentary in blue is a telepathic projection to the members of the party, as they were fighting or going to Mool's chambers.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elelyel turns at the yell, then races with the others up to Mool's chambers. Her eyes narrow as she watches the oncoming siege, then shift to Thurk. "Mother? What did you take from them?" As Thunk mentions the ship, her gaze shifts to the harbor to try and find it. (Perception: 5)
"Mool! Where is the map?!" She races over to him. "Will the city survive til we return with the crossbow?"

Nay bother my friend lets get things somewhat under control and head to the ship, you'll need to become better acquainted at some point anyway, the Bosun needs to know the workings and the people working the ship.......

( OOC: I don’t want this to sound wrong but your character was “born” with godly charisma. Perhaps other lowly characters would find your presence intimidating. Perhaps a character with a 20 charisma at level one would be the “face of the party” and naturally be the one to begin introductions/break down walls of social separation. I’m not telling you how to play your character, for me it just seemed odd that someone with so much charisma would allow themselves to feel isolated. I hope you don’t take this as a criticism or find offense when none was intended. I look forward to finding out more about each of the characters In our troop throughout our time together. Maybe it will be you that notices that Nivlen is having a bit of a nervous breakdown and you will be the one to rouse him out of it so that he can continue.)

Koric will grab a bottle from the table before following Elelydel from the palace, looking forward to an answer from Thruk to either his, or Elelyel's question.

Ooc:I find this interesting, sometimes the most charming individuals have the most self doubt, at least irl...perhaps that is Elric's 'flaw' as a character? After all, being descended from royalty, he may have a bit of a trust issue, or have been surrounded by 'yes men' for the better part of his life, which would.maje it hard for him to understand people not paying him more attention. I think this is wonderful character development, personally😀

OOC: 'Telepathic' is almost for lack of a better word. Certain subspecies of Thri-Kreen have an innate ability to communicate through using psionic power to project imagery and emotions. When TlakShik speaks, it is as if you understand the meaning of the thought, but it is your brain translating the emotions and images into Words, more so than TlakShik actually speaking them.Hopefully that helps🙂

"Mool! Where is the map?!" She races over to him. "Will the city survive til we return with the crossbow?"
As Elelyel looks out to the ports of lowtown, she sees the following:
Several ships at dock are already on fire, though she notes with relief that the Crowe is still floating at the end of the longest pier.
OOC: Alright everybody, "session 3" is almost officially under way! I now just need to know, as it seems there are a couple meta-options here:
1.) if the entire party wishes to go to the catacombs, or
2.) if Jhoni(and perhaps Elelyel or others) prefers to take Thurk to the ship while the others locate the weapon Mib.
The entrance to the catacombs through the temple basement is located on the back of the Temple, and can be reached within minutes by circumnavigating the outer wall of the temple. Mool has already provided someone in the group a key to the locked cellar door.
The situation in the Lowtown docks seems dire, and the risk of the FCS Crowe being set ablaze is quite real. Thurk will only tell anyone who asks that it is of grave importance that he get to the ship, but what he has to do is going to take a bit of time and that if they can get the weapon Mib there after he completes his task, they may have a chance to save Rock Androll.
Which location would each of you like to go? If the entire group decides to go to the catacombs first, Thurk will agree to Guard the Cellar Door until you all return.
More meta: Because of the large scale nature of a scenario such as this, your party may potentially face many low level monsters such as goblins/ orcs, etc throughout the city. In order to combat DM fatigue(tracking multiple/large combats is a bit rough) Im going to adopt a version of the 'Minions' rule. If the party or any group encounters a group of these 'Minions', be aware they will essentially all be 1 hp token creatures. They are still capable of attacking/hitting for normal damage on their initiative, but they're going to be one hit kills for you. (More for flavor and to boost your folks' XP some more without taking 3 days to kill a few pathetic wretches on the way to the real quest). If you kill a minion, it is worth 25 xp to the person who killed it only, but you will be responsible for tracking this xp yourself. This will only be relevant while you traverse the streets of Androll to get to your target locations. Think of it as 'The diet soda of Wandering Monsters", lol. My effort to keep the story moving, hope you enjoy!
I be back in a few hours to see how many have posted and see what you all decide.
(OOC: Nivlen will be with whatever group goes to the catacombs, unless the group is too small and everyone wants to go to the docks first. Does Nivlen need to be counting his ammo? He earlier wanted to procure more bolts and a shield, possibly from the temple barracks armory. He also attempted to retrieve spent bolts after the troll fight. Maybe I shouldn’t be concerned about it but a shield will affect his ac. Your call.)

Mool will allow Nivlen to take a shield from one of the displays on the wall on his way out of the temple. It's a normal Shield, with some decorative carvings on it. You were able to collect all of your previous bolts(OOC: sorry i saw it yesterday and intended to respond to it then and forgot to mention it, my bad!), and the four that struck the troll are now thoroughly soaked in venomous troll blood (additional 1d8 poison damage when striking a target. fades after one use, hit or miss)
Edit: (OOC: this would apply to Thurk's battleaxe, Righteousness's hand ax, and any other weapons or ammo that came directly into contact with the troll during that fight as well.Fair's fair, after all!)
