You continue on, through the trapped corridor and the room where you fought the goblins. You enter the long, pillar-lined room where the frozen door now swings loosely on its hinges, the lock and knob kicked out.
(Ondrej was the one who kicked it in lol. That was the room you found Calcryx in.)
The room looks the same as the last time you were in it. Broken furniture and cabinets are scattered around, and a large, broken collar is attached to a chain in the center.
(Which way are you going? You're currently in the room with pillars towards the top of the map. Meepo has told you the circular room in the top left corner will take you down to the lower level. You can either head through the large square room or through the hallway to your north.)
Genken pulls out the map as they stand in the room of pillars. "Well folks, which way would you prefer? The hall to the north takes us directly to our route down, however given the last hall was trapped as pointed out by good Meepo, we might assume it's also trapped. Alternatively, the large room to the west also provides a quick route, however given the size of it, very possibly holds either a large creature or a number of creatures." He rolls up the map and points to the two western-most doors on the north of the room, and the door to the west.
Summer sighed, holding the hilt of her blade. "We never said this was going to be easy. I rather deal with a fight we can see ourselves out of, then a trap that will lead to our doom."

Arisys contemplates their options. "Personally, I think I'd rather face a potential trap. We don't know what we will find down below, we may need to save our resources. The other traps were floor traps, if we stick close to the walls we may be fine."
"I agree with Arisys. Traps may hurt us, but they won't use our resources like combat will. I'd rather save them for whatever lurks below." Lar-Dun says.

Genken chuckles, "Both are good points. Monsters might hold potential treasures. Traps mean less expended energies. I'm agreeable to both, and we can always rest before we jump down the hole if need be?"
It’s actually quite noisy in there. You hear the buzz of conversation coming from what sounds like a large group of individuals, the crackling of a fire, occasional footsteps, and miscellaneous thuds and clanks.
Ondrej turns back to his companions. "Sounds like somebody's home in there. Maybe just one tiny little fight before we go down? We could clear out the room and then rest for the night. Go down in the morning."
"How did you come to acquire him?"

"We found him deep underground, mere weeks old, starving. I have no idea how he came to be in such a place, but he wouldn't have survived on his own."
