Silenus isn't very familiar with Phandalin. The last time they were here he didn't pay too much attention. So he'll rely on Rinn "So, Rinn, dude. Where do we start? Who's the dude or dudette who knows what's going on?"
Rinn summons forth a tiny owl. As the group travels back to Phandalin, he plays with it, summoning it and dismissing it, sending it overhead to scout and to look through its eyes.
Once back in Phandalin, Rinn points to the tavern. "We've gotten plenty of information there in the past. There or Lion Coster, the town supply store. Either will offer some information, I'm sure."
Rinn shakes his head, "Not exactly what I had thought when I said to come here and ask," he says quietly and to no one in particular. "Quietly might be a little more tactful. Especially if there is a dragon in these parts. You might start a panic among the townsfolk."
"OH! Hello, Silenus. Hey, Rinn!", Thistle greets as Sarah is taking orders and just quickly glances and waves.
"The dragon hasn't been back in town since that last incident while you were in Axeholm. Thank the gods.", Thistle continues, "You want a spot at the bar?"
"Otherwise, their's a table on the porch. Bit crowded today!"
"Oh, you're a saint my dude," Silenus says to Mike when the ale and cheese arrive. "Stew and duck sound most awesome."
He listens to the rest then looks over at Rinn. "So, cross off Giant Toes."
Silenus gulps at his ale while he thinks for a moment. "White dragons. They're like totally into cold and ice, right?"
He takes a bite of cheese then asks Mike, or Thistle or Sarah, whomever is nearby at the moment. "If you wanted to go to a really cold mountain peak, which one would you pick?"
Sarah is the one to reply, "That would be Icespire Peaks, wouldn't it?"
"I heard mum tell of an Icespire Hold. Place was supposedly built by warlord Delsendra Amzarr who dwelled there for many years while she and her soldiers kept the Daraktan of the Sword Mountains from invading."
"I've no notion if the place is real or not. Mum's told lots of stories. Some a complete fantasy, really."
Rinn nods, "It does sound like the perfect spot for a white dragon. Do you think we're ready and well enough equipped to take this thing on anytime soon, Silenus?"
"Well with Jasmine along, I'm sure we can totally take on a white dragon," Silenus says with confidence, but Rinn's question does make him think.
"Maybe some gear for climbing ice would help, and something to keep us warm," Silenus says with a smile. "How about a big weighted net to make it tough for the gnarly lizard to fly away."
"A harpoon might be better," Rinn draws out his thoughts on the table with his finger, "I know I couldn't throw a net high or far enough to snare a dragon. But shooting the thing with a harpoon might work. Maybe."
"Warm gear will definitely be useful too. We can see if the Lionshield has the gear we need. They tend to have everything."
(( What type of familiar dooes Rinn summon? ))
It takes two days to get back to phandalin, but it goes by without incident.
With the livestock cared for, where do you go first?
Indeed, Rinn's longest standing acquaintance is with Toblen Stonehill and his family who run the aptly named Stonehill Inn.
Rinn's a good personal reputation with Eelmar, proprietor of Barthen’s Provisions and Linene Graywind local manager of Lionshields
"Inns have ale, wine, food, and beds, right?" Silenus says with a smile and bounds towards the Stonehill Inn that Rinn just pointed out.
Once inside, he requests ale, wind, food and a bed then adds "And anyone know anything about a gnarly white dragon with a bad attitude?"
Rinn shakes his head, "Not exactly what I had thought when I said to come here and ask," he says quietly and to no one in particular. "Quietly might be a little more tactful. Especially if there is a dragon in these parts. You might start a panic among the townsfolk."

"Otherwise, their's a table on the porch. Bit crowded today!"
Silenus looks a Rinn and shrugs, happy with either option. If Rinn doesn't have a preference, Silenus will opt for the spot at the bar.
"Ale, then more Ale, and some food," Silenus requests. Then adds. "Do you know anyone who's, like, totally gone looking for the dragon?"
Mike, who's typically in the kitchen presents Silenus with an Ale and a cheese board. "We've a mutton stew and a roast duck with fix'ns."
"I've heard that Eli fellow has been in contact with Neverwinter. They're maybe sending some enforcement.", Mike says while serving another customer.
"Them furry ones at the Giant sa'n it's not in the Giant Toes. They been look'n", says the patron.
"Oh, you're a saint my dude," Silenus says to Mike when the ale and cheese arrive. "Stew and duck sound most awesome."

"I've no notion if the place is real or not. Mum's told lots of stories. Some a complete fantasy, really."
"Awesome, sounds totally white dragon friendly then," Silenus says. "What do you think Rinn?"

"Warm gear will definitely be useful too. We can see if the Lionshield has the gear we need. They tend to have everything."
Silenus knocks back his ale and raises his mug for another. With his other hand he claps Rinn on the back.
"Great thinking," Silenus says. "A harpoon. They won't know what hit them. Lionshield now or first thing in the morning?"
(It's evening now, yes?)
((It's early evening, yes. Also, you could recruit if you feal you'll need extra hands, swords, etc.))
((Silenus, A couple gold would more than cover your evening food and drinks. Drop five if you get really randy.))
((Rinn, Five silver will get you a meal and a couple ale... bump the cost up if you're keeping up with Silenus.))
Recruiting help isn’t something that occurs to Silenus. He bounds into encounters before fully thinking about what might happen.
And he happily goes through 5gp.
”I’ve heard of rings that can keep you warm too. Maybe this Lion Coaster has those too.”
The next morning, you head to Lionshield Coster where Linene Graywind greets you.
She has armor and weapons, climbing and dungening supplies, rations and healers kits.
There is also a section for farming, hunting, and fishing.
