Taking a moment to bind his own wounds, Auric smiles appreciatively as the wolves enthusiastically greet their friend. "Twas a difficult battle, but working together hath granted us victory," says Auric. "Forsooth, I will searcheth the remainder of this domicile shouldst any of the farmer's have survived and hidden themselves away," he adds, starting to move through the house, opening doors and calling out softly for any survivors.

Mr.Dark grins as the wolves are let into the house. He briefly thinks about the cow that's got itself upstairs and how the wolves and they will play together. He should probably help the cow get down, it's probably not used to stairs. Maybe in a few minutes. It's a good lesson to not just go tromping into someone's house and up some stairs without an invitation. He's brought out of his inner monologue by Auric moving about.
Seeing Auric "get on with business" makes Mr.Dark grimace, grunt, and then push himself up. Limping slightly from his wounds, and leaving the odd drop of blood on the floor behind him, he follows Auric, his crossbow ready, just in case the dragon warrior should encounter a straggling orc or two.

"What is the racket down..." Kaemgen is saying before being rudely interrupted by a couple fur torpedoes launching themselves at him as soon as they top the stairs and set their eyes upon him. Kaemgen barely has a chance to recognize they're not a threat and not bring up his hammer before he is totally tackles and assaulted with poking noses, thwapping tails and licking tongues! Being shoved onto his back with the two fur beasts atop him Kaemgen takes 4 damage in friendly fire!
"Hey!! Happy to see you two too!!" Kaemgen manages to get out while momentarily fending off the slobbering tongues. "Could have used you two a few minutes ago! We had ourselves quite the hassle here!" The whole time Kaemgen is petting and patting them, shoving them around playfully and butting his head up against theirs, welcoming them back.
The wrestle and bark and shove and express how much they missed each other until all three are out of breath. "Honestly I didn't expect you two back so soon," he says once they've all relaxed a bit. "Did you manage to complete your mission already?? Hmmm... Well, somebody dressed you up, Castor. A fancy new bandana! Or, I expect, it was once new..." To be truthful, the bandana looked about as muddy as one could make it, with just some drool to clean it off.
"What about you, Pollux? How come you don't rate no fancy new duds?" Kaemgen asks, pulling Pollux's head close and running his fingers through their scruff. "Did you have and wrangle your way out of it? Is that it?" Kaemgen gives Pollux a long look to try to stare the truth out of the wolf, but Pollux wasn't talking.
"Well, Castor? Did Pollux pull it off or are you just the special one?" Kaemgen continues, this time pulling Castor's furry head close and taking a closer look at the bandana. "What say we clean this up a bit for you? We have to have some water around here somewhere..."
"Hey! Get away from there!" Kaemgen playfully calls out to Pollux who was busy shoving there nose rudely into one of the dead Orcs. "No snacking until we make sure we got them all, at least... ok?"
Meanwhile Kaemgen was trying to unfasten the bandana and take a closer look at it... Curious if they had indeed completed the mission and if it was from who he hoped, or if there was a mystery afoot.
Or, actually, the wolves tackling him knocked him unconscious! Ugh. But I'm retconning it that Kaemgen still had his rage on so only took half damage, and is still conscious! Even if just barely...

Mr. Dark wasn't going very far, for a few reasons. Besides his obvious wounds slowing him down and his casual efforts of plastering avant-garde merde du sang art everywhere, Daisy wasn't letting him out of sight. It was out of her concern for his safety, and not at all because of abandonment issues. Stubborn as a mule, Daisy would purposely impose herself between Mr. Dark and the stairs. Unfocused eyes would stare through him, daring him to try to get through her.
With a sloppy Dark and a bullheaded cow following him around, Auric struggled to find space, let alone get a thorough look around at first. Xeno was busy admiring his handywork with a body rather than actually sifting through pockets. Marblebeard was hiding somewhere. The wolves brought extra excitement to the already chaotic area and Kaemgen was plenty preoccupied with that. The combination made it difficult for Auric to concentrate on listening to whether someone answered his call or not. At this rate he was starting to think he'd discover nothing. Perhaps the golden dragonborn was just missing his lucky charm. Auric would invite Fuego back and begin a thorough search downstairs and as pair, they'd methodically way back. By then, things should calm down. He hoped.
Kaemgen indulged in his reunion with the twins. He successfully 'tricked' them by 'playing' dead. Their eyes pinged wide in shock for a moment before exchanging looks of panic with each other. Castor would even bop his brother on the snoot for not being more careful. And when Kaemgen would 'magically' awaken, they'd bounce on the man in a flurry of excitement, knocking the wind out of him with their paws and smacking fresh wounds with their tails. They'd be sure to groan extra loud in protest to him insinuating they could of been there sooner. They were! Look! Door! They'd fuss about in their efforts to direct his attention to the damaged front entrance, but they'd be easily distracted by moving on to rough housing.
It wasn't until they relaxed a little that Kaemgen would come to realize a few things. Castor was a bit harder to push around than Pollux. Up close he'd recognize that Castor's bandana was crafted from his spare traveling shirt that he did not realize was missing until now. It was safe to assume that it held scents, and not just his, for tracking. While adjusting the bandana Kaemgen would finally notice it was also protecting some things. On the inside of the bandana fabric there was a secret pocket which held a folded message. Behind the bandana revealed a compact satchel harness, uniquely fitted for either twin, with delicate contents. Retrieving what was inside, he'd discover four vials.
Having shooed Pollux away from Orc bodies, Kaemgen would catch the curious snout sneaking off elsewhere. The wolf was unsurprisingly sneakily snooping closer to the cow, huffing his way to her rear. Daisy dared him! Caught and carefully cautioned, a pouty Pollux would retreat back to Kaemgen who was suspiciously covered in her sassy scent. He side eyes the cow.
When Kaemgen would try to settle in place to review his findings, Castor and Pollux would help themselves to getting comfortable by blanketing themselves on him, insisting scritches for peace, mostly. Castor quickly quells, composing to a calm snooze. However, Pollux would only be able to sooth himself when Kaemgen would submit to allowing the wild pup to gnaw on his arm like a cob of corn. The wolf wouldn't break the skin, but he'd be guilty of leaving behind temporary teeth marks. After about ten minutes of it Kaemgen would be able to identify with confidence that Castor wasn't the only one with 'new duds'. Pollux gained a 'gangster grill'.

Eventually Auric would reappear after scouring the lower level. There was plenty of dinner ware, tables, chairs, benches, and cattle skulls downstairs. A few rogue coins under carpets. Nothing worth announcing. Now that he was upstairs, the dragonborn would take advantage of the momentary calm. He and Fuego now do a proper pass over the many rooms on this floor. One by one, they'd sift through, even collecting the scattered pieces of the game sets. Discovering an office, there were stacks of ledgers and papers chronicling ten years’ worth of business transactions belonging to proprietor Big Al. Consequently through the search, Auric would find that his high earnings appear to come from the sale of butter skulls — lumps of butter cleverly molded into the shapes of humanoid skulls. Buried beneath that paperwork the dragonborn finally uncovers a bulky envelope labeled Petunia's Earnings. The moment he scooped up the package, he'd get a sense as if someone was looking through him. And when Auric would be satisfied with their search upstairs, Fuego would nudge a gentle reminder that there was a cellar door outside...
"Indeed, Fuego, mayhaps the farmers took shelter from the orcish incursion in the cellar, much like they might against weather most foul," Auric says, setting aside the 3 battle axes for the party's use should they wish them. He moves to the cellar door and knocks on it, saying, "The orcish menace is no more; doth any surviving farmers reside below?"

"You been working out?" Kaemgen asks Castor with a bit of surprise. "Or am I just that beat up? Maybe I need to take after you, huh?" The wolfie seemed stronger than Kaemgen remembered, tougher.
A bit later he was more like "ow... ow... ow... ow.. OWW! Hey, you! Mouth!" Kaemgen would draw his arm back from being a chew toy and glare at Pollux, shoving his face closer to theirs. "Careful, you! I am old and wounded... But snacking on my bones til I am truly dead, eh?"
"You two got the message to Adabra, that's for sure... And more, huh?" Kaemgen said, the realization slowly dawning on him, along with a bit or recognition of the bandana and what it all means when put together. "Found her and came back with gifts, huh?" The fact the twins weren't precisely identical was a bit obvious from the various roughhousing, what these small vials were, precisely, was a little bit less apparent. "Well if you two aren't talking then I guess I'll just have to see what the note says. Maybe that will explain what you've been up to..."
As Kaemgen begins carefully unfolding the note and reading it he absently pets and scritches the pair of living blankets that have decided to hold him down. "It's ok, Polly... It's smart to be wary of cows inside buildings. Specially up stairs. We'll figure that one out once we've rested a bit, eh?" Kaemgen reassures Pollux after they were rebuffed by Daisy.
Reading the note, Kaemgen cannot help but notice Auric and his li'l flying friend to go by doing a search. "Try not to find anyone else to fight, huh Auric?" he calls out. "I could use a nice rest before the next one..."
Castor snored soundly while Pollux would huff at Kaemgen's excuses. The man smelled of cow! As if any wolf would forego a taste. Of course Pollux would continue to gnaw, gently, on his arm, salivating all over it. If Kaemgen really wanted him to stop, he'd redirect the pups attention by providing a more suitable chew toy.
When Kaemgen would finally unfold the letter to read it, a single dry pressed pink flower would fall out. Pollux would lazily try snapping it from the air.

Daisy unwilling to allow Mr. Dark to leave the upper floor, it was just Auric and Fuego outside at this time. With the warm welcoming glow of his orb to lead the way, the dragonborn descends into the cellar.
Mr.Dark hasn't been able to get downstairs? He glances at the cow. Then at the stairs. Then at the cow. Then at the stairs. He'd heard people running up and down elsewhere in this place during the fight. He walks away from the cow towards the bedroom, presumably finding the other set of stairs, and walks down them instead, aiming to take a set, mend his wounds and regroup with the rest of them.
Auric registers a swift hit to the back of the head and begins to feel the world tunnel in his vision. Trying to push back the fog, he squints to try to make out some of his surroundings. The dragonborn, albeit blurry, catches sight of someone across the room bound and gagged to a chair before he blacks out.
Even in his current condition Mr. Dark just decides that he's deceptive, stealthy and nimble enough to out maneuver a cow who's been attached to his hip. Committed to abandoning Daisy upstairs, he magically finds his way downstairs to the main floor to join Xeno admiring his kills.
Blasting a telepathic message to the others (all party members within 100 feet), Fuego exclaims, "Auric has been attacked in the cellar! Come quickly!"
Flitting into the cellar and hovering over Auric's unconscious body, the enraged pseudodragon points his wand at the attacker and conjures a blast of light and sound around its head!

Having managed to outwit his bovine companion, and still feeling hurt and exhausted from the fight, he reaches downstairs and looks for a chair to sit on...for just a bit of a breather. He'll help that silly animal get downstairs in a bit. The thing just went wandering up there, it maybe should learn a bit of a lesson for a few minutes before he rescues it. Plus, he's exhausted. He drags one chair away from the table, and is lowering his ass onto the wooden surface, and is an inch from the seat when Auric's dragon starts yelling for help. He freezes for a moment, then stands up fully and glances around. Geez...now what...which way is the cellar...probably outside. He rushes out the nearest door heading for the cellar.
