"When was the goblin killed and do you still have the corpse somewhere?" asks Krom "With the proper hymn, I can manage to still get some answers from him."
"I imagine some sort of sharp metal object was inserted into parts of his body that were not designed to take such things and he didn't survive. As for the body? Gone, burned. Ground is frozen so we can't bury bodies so we burn em."
"Something to keep in mind as well, in the event we find any other bodies." Rhogar commented on with Gorrah nodding in agreement alongside his head. "I suppose that's it then. We probably don't have many hours of daylight left, if any. So, shall we head back to the Tavern for now. Or are there those who've grown fond of the cold?" He asked half-jokingly.

"The inn sounds like a fine plan for now. We can continue to make plans there and learn more of the region if any staying there are from the other towns." Rekuberk suggests.
You finish up your business with the sheriff and bundling yourselves back up in you cold weather gear you step back out into a howling wind. The afternoon as best you can tell has passed and it is early evening though it is hard to tell in the darkness that fills the area. As you return to the Northlook you see more people out and they are all bundled up as you are making it impossible to know who they are as nothing can be discerned of race or sex from the warm clothing everyone is wearing. Your only hints are perhaps the height of the person that they may be gnome, halfling or dwarf. Though often times a dwarves long beard will hang out of his clothing a face wrap.
The warmth of the Northlook greets you as the fire in the hearth burns brightly. The room is now filling up as word of a worthy bard playing that night has brought people out despite the cold when they may have just stayed home. You are able to find a table to sit at. Chip is bustled off by the proprietor and is soon playing his sets of music much to the delight of a very appreciative crowd.
Throughout the evening you have the chance to sit and drink, talk with other and dice or play cards as the evening progresses. The crowd is friendly and open to talk and you hear many rumors of what is transpiring in the Ten-Towns, not just Bryn Shander. No one knows anything of how or why the darkness has stayed so long and all blame Auril, the Frostmaiden. But none know her purpose.
In Caer-Dineval, no one has seen the town speaker for a long time. Locals say Speaker Crannoc has fallen ill, but sinister figures have been seen entering and leaving the castle at odd hours.
In Caer-Konig, local establishments are beset by vandals and thieves that skulk about unseen. The town speaker, a dragonborn named Trovus, could really use some help catching the interlopers.
In Easthaven, they caught an evil wizard who killed some adventurers. The town militia plans to burn the wizard at the stake. I hear the captain of the guard is looking for adventurers to help with another task that may or may not be related.
In Bremen, fishers are being terrorized by a monster that lives in Maer Dualdon. Strange that none of the other towns on that lake have been harangued by the monster.
After all is said and done, once the the grup gathers at least one last time before truly calling it a night, Rhogar seems to be fighting a feeling that provokes a certain grimness about him. "... It feels almost as if I underestimated the weight that has been on the shoulders of these people, considering everything we've heard so far. Even if you ignore the fact that most maybe are here to avoid something else -- something that they may or may not rightly be in the wrong for -- this stories-..."He trails off shaking his head. "But we shall stay the course, naturally. Though, if we are to truly be of help, we may have to take more risks... some, assuming we gather the means to along the way, meaning we brave the darker hours to travel, least we arrive too late in some places."
Gorrah snaps at Rhogar's snout as if chiding him for the suggestion, but the Bronze just merely moves his snout out of the way, before continuing to stare at the table.

"I think that if we are to help with these issues perhaps while harsh it would be best to decide which are the most important and handle those first and foremost." Rekuberk says as he downs a bit of his drink, nursing the tankard for the most part.
As Rhogar and Rekuberk finish to speak Krom says "It seems that there is no end to the unfortunate events occurring to the citizens of Icewind Dale." the dwarf scratches his beard as he thinks what to say next. "I agree with you lad, we will have to decide our priorities as hard it may be. As we already gave our word to the three dwarves, I still think that tomorrow morning we should leave early in order to get their ore and deliver it in time. After that, I have an hard time to decide which of those tasks are the most important." Krom pauses for a few moments and continues his speech " Our main quest is to try to stop this eternal winter, how, I do not know at the moment, so in my opinion, we should focus our effort in doing quests that benefit the largest amount of people. Taking care of the goblins, catching the interlopers in Caer-Konig and defeat that lake monster. But I have a feeling that what is happening in Caer-Dineval and Easthaven may be linked to the Frostmaiden. "
"And this other Gnomes research is not?" Rhogar asked perhaps more testily than intended, as a growl had led up to the words. Almost as soon as the words played back in mind the Bronze closed his eyes in a sigh. "... What I mean to say is if that is to be our path, we would be better off returning the pack then to the temple. At least then they may have a chance of find another during the interim that can go check up on their friend. For what you suggest would keep us away for days. Far too long for one alone to be left potentially without much needed supplies." He amended, tonally sounding apologetic even if the words went directly unspoken.
"Unless of course we can find someone here -- a perhaps another adventuring sort to make the delivery." Rhogar added alongside the nods of Gorrah, who at the time had half-finished Rhogar's meal by then.

"I have given my word that I would try and deliver the pack to the Black Cabin. Copper did not seem bothered that it would not be right away. In fact he just said he was concerned for his friend but gave no explanation or reason that we must hurry to check on him. He was satisfied that in our own time we may be out that way. So let us not be to concerned ourselves that these are emergency supplies and the man is in dire straights without them. These are hard people used to living in harsh conditions. We will head that way at some point. I think the job for the Sheriff which is directly a service to the town and the Dale is a better use of our time. In the morning I say we find the dwarves lost shipment and then make for the goblins." Chill says.
Rhogar still seemed somewhat unconvinced, and yet would simply sigh again and nod. Though rather than spend anytime further in the company of others now, he took one last swig of his drink, muttered something about seeing the others, and then made to leave for his room. Gorrah remained behind to finish whatever meals anyone else don't get around to it, seeming no longer concerned about the matter, if she was at all to begin with.

Kazri listens to her companion before giving her mind. "Gentlemen, I believe that taking care of this goblin business might the most good that we can do for the region at this moment. If their intentions are true, which I hope it is the case, perhaps we may find ourselves an ally. If their intentions are false... Well, I hope that we are able to remove such threat from the region. The last thing that we want is a goblin invasion from our backs. So, I would like to suggest that we make this mission one of our priorities." Kazri agrees with Rhogar. "I agree with Mr. Nimbatuul, there is much to do in the region, and we must make haste if we are to be able to help as much as we can." She takes another sip from her mug of ale. "I would like to suggest that we take a good rest tonight, for it might be a while until the next time we are able to find ourselves in a place like Northlook."

Before Rhogar retires for the night, Krom replies to the dragonborn, "Do not get me wrong Rhogar, the gnome is important and we will give him the pack that Copper trusted to us, but as Chill said, Copper did not mention any urgency for the deliver." the dwarf takes a pause to finish his ale and than continues "After dealing, peacefully or not, with the Goblins, if we head to Bremen to take care of that mysterious monster, we will be close to the Black Cabin."
"You are right lass, let's take a good night rest today, as soon we will be sleeping in tents covered by snow." Krom then bids his farewell to the rest of the group and heads to his room.

Chip would play on stage, oblivious to the discussions of plans at the table in front of him. The drift globe would act as a spotlight on the bard as he played his tune for the entertainment starved patrons. Dancing lights would circle the dragonborn.. taking the shape of stars as they swirl out into the crowd. The bards scales would shimmer and sparkle in the light as he plated his tune.
"Frostmaiden! Now it's time to kick your Face in! Ever seen someone so

The dragonborn would shout as he finishes the last of his set (performance 30) Once done he would collect any tips and approach the table. "What'd I miss?" He would ask with a grin as he senses a bit of tension before motioning for a drink. "I think before bed I am going to enjoy my last chance to eat and drink myself into a stupor first!" Chip would reply with a grin.
