Gin taps her chin in thought after settling away her rapier when Toni questions her about a raid. “The only ‘raid’ I know about is about Raid Shadow Warriors when they wanted to sponsor us to promote their game, but other than that I’unno!” She shrugs.
When Thrash questions them on whether or not they’ve killed anyone, Gin’s antennae pull back against the side of her head. “Uhh... Does killing them with my sound count or you mean, like, actual killing?”

"I'm talking about the kind of killin where you bite and stab them until they die.. and then if yer lucky you eat them" Thrash would reply with a smile. "Now most folks don't seem to keen on the eatin'em part but I figure it is dumb to let good meat go to waste. Now personally I try to only kill the ********... Ya tear up anyone that puts up a fight until they surrender or ya knock'em out.. Most these merchant ships ain't got much security so ya only got a few people that pose any sorta threat. Now If any of the mercs guardin the ship give ya any lip.. ya bite off a finger or an ear. That normally quiets'em down... well.. after they finish screaming." The lizardfolk would add with a grin. "Now killing folks is bad for business so on the Crimson Bounty I tried to keep my men from killing best I could. Sometimes I had to kill one of them to keep them from kiling someone we was raidin.." He would say calmly. "If you go around killing too much, you draw too much attention.. then ships start packing more security and you start getting bounties put on yer head... And then yer expenses go up.." Thrash would pause and look at the faces of his fellow captives before letting out a laugh. "Don't you worry about it, You just stick with me and it'll be fine. If Plugg has any sense I am sure this raid will be exactly like how we used to do'em on the Crimson.
"It would appear so."Ashley said. "I have no idea why. I do not appear to be the violent type, at least, as far as I know. I cannot remember anything before this."
"Nothing."she said. "I don't remember how I got here, why i'm here, or what I did before. All that I know is that I am here, and that something is deep inside me, writhing with a yearning to be released - a power, a biological force, if you will? I should be worried, but I am not. I know who I am, but I do not feel like myself."
"You do it for the creds and the thrill!" Thrash would say as he slaps Gin on the shoulder. "Not all of us got talents like you and yer sister. I didn't get much choice in the life I'm living. It's all I know and I'm good at it." The lizardfolk would say with a smile. "I don't remember much before life on the Crimson... I suppose maybe I was just destined fer this life" Thrash would day as he straightens his hat. "now..." He would hiss quietly as though shushing the group. "If we wanted ta kill plugg.. now would be the best time ta do it.. Make it look like a merc got'em" thrash would whisper with a wink and a sharp toothed grin.
Gin mouths ‘ow’ as she rubs her shoulder where Thrash slapped her, knowing he didn’t mean to do it that hard. The Lashunta was a fragile little thing. “What are you good at, Dani? You wanted your tools back real bad so I guess you like tinkering? What are you able to make?”

"No I ain't, I am good at lifting the heavy things and keeping my lunch down when wading through the stink down there. I ain't good at the sorting part" Thrash would reply shaking his head. "Almost everything I learned I learned on the Crimson. Taught by the crew. Ya know I didn't even speak common when I ended up on that ship.. I remember some things from before that.. I remember the most beautiful and strong lizardfolk towering over me and teachin me some history of our race.. and I remember another friendly lizardfolk would bring me lots of food even when he wasn't supposed to" Thrash would say with a smile. If you speak draconic!
I do not know if they were my parents or just my imagination. I dream about them often, especially the female. Maybe I will find them aboard one of the vessels we board some day.
Toni shrugs, “Me and Gin had a pretty normal life, aside from being pop stars from our teens on. This is the craziest thing to happen to us so far, and honestly? I’m starting to get a taste for the excitement.”

The Wormwood pulls within sight distance of the merchant vessel. There is a slight quake as the Wormwoods' shields are impacted by fire from the vessels' laser cannons, but they are able to hold. The other ship is not so lucky, as the Wormwoods' cannons are able to overpower their shields and deal a direct blow to their engine systems, leaving them dead in the water. The crew of the Wormwood activates the environmental protection systems that come standard built into each set of armor and grant the wearer the ability to survive in space for a limited amount of time. "All right you shits, listen up! We're about to hop on to that ship. Your job is to take the aft of the ship and hold it so that no one is able to hop into the escape pods and flee. Don't leave the aft section until the fighting's done or I'll stuff you in one of the cannons and fire you out. Got it?"

Dani is paying only moderate attention to the gunnery officer as she examines the gun, giving Riaris a thumbs up as she tells Thrash. "Improve it, with a night of work. The firing mechanism is sticky, and I could boost the power here and here. Better accuracy and damage."

Ashley would listen and look around expressionless. The lizard person talked for a while. She didn't pay much attention. One question she did.
"I have not killed anyone. Not to my knowledge. Strange. I ache to." she slowly smiled to Trash. "To..test my powers. Yes."
"Well I would bet you'll get yer chance soon enough" Thrash would reply with a nod.
“So...we’re beating up business men and stealing from them?”
