Dani's eyes light up at the decryption, and she puts the tablet and credstick into her bag. "I'll decrypt this at the ship. Do we want to swing past the lab real quick on our way out?"

Toni lays at the bottom of the shaft for several moments, coughing, before putting up a weary and trembling thumb's up and groaning out an "I'm ok."

She'll eventually get back up and make her way over to the ship and crew, "Awesome work, Dani." The lashunta captain will go over and inspect the getaway ship, "Hey, do we have space for this on one of our ships?"

“That’s going to hurt more in the morning…” Jeff mutters as he rubs his tender bits after picking himself off the ground. A smirk would grow on the mans face from the discussion about parking Zarkia’s ship in theirs. He’d muse to himself over the tight fit, keeping the obvious joke to himself.

Dani's eyes light up. "Yesss." She immediately goes for the cockpit, taking a look over the controls because **** yes we are flying this out. The excitement is even enough for her to forget about stopping by the lab.

Arcade, being the ever-faithful servant to his master, taps Dani on the shoulder and speaks with a confused head tilt, "Pardon Mistress Dani, but did you not wish to investigate the laboratory before escaping?"

Gin flies Zarskia's small ship back to The Reclaimer as the rest of you climb out of the shaft and sneak out of the apothecary. Once back on the Reclaimer, Dani is able to break through the encrypted data on the laptop and find that it nevertheless exposes the identities of a widespread network of spies throughout the Diaspora. The papers detail the primary players in the spy ring such as Corlan and Rowena Kellet, as well as containing a kill order for Rowena Kellet by someone named Giles Halmis. There's also a bunch of messages in Infernal that are dated 3 weeks ago.

Dani is unable to translate the Infernal text, but the information you've all found is sufficient to satisfy Tessa's requirements and get you to level 8.

"My people can translate the notes, but there's enough evidence in here for me to go up to the Pirate Council and share my suspicions that someone has designs on the Diaspora without looking like a fool. And I'd bet that the Infernal text is proof of Chelish involvement. As promised, I'll be sending over 5,000 credits worth of plunder and you also have my support as well as my vote in the Pirate Council should you ever need it. I also believe that I promised your captain a date."

Dani glances at Toni and gives her a thumbs up before going back to her armpad to calculate the new funds and resources.

"Hopefully you don't have to dispatch her before you're the lucky one, eh Capt?" with a wide grin Jeff would toss Toni a wink of encouragement. May she have better luck than he has.

"Congratulations on a successful mission for you and your crew!" Captain Tessa smiles at Toni as she drinks from her glass filled with sparkling maroon liquor. The two captains laugh and talk in Carlione's Lashunta Bistro. 
"This was a particularly big brained mission, so I just stood around and looked intimidating really." Toni giggles, her antennea vibrating as she takes long pulls from her lashuntan brandy.
A portly man with several sets of arms brings out their food: wide egg noodles in a cream sauce with rainbow colored clams. The two captains cheer as they dig in.
Between mouthfuls Toni asks, "How did you become such a badass captain of the Diaspora?" 
Tessa nods as she wipes her mouth with a cloth napkin, taking another sip of brandy. 
"Picture a young elven girl with an iron grip on a small ship. raiding through the pact worlds, living a life of freedom she hadn't known before. I caught the bug and next thing I knew I was taking down Chelaxian frigates on my way to the Diaspora...." Toni is completely enraptured as the astounding Pirate queen's tale unfolds.

The camera pans up  and away on the two powerful ladies as they laugh and talk and walk down the promenade, enjoying the artificial night breeze and the twinkling shimmering lights of the stores, the stars and the many lights of the various ships coming in and out of port.

At some point during your date with Tessa, she brings up an idea to you. "I think that you should enter your ship in the Free Captain's Regatta. You and your crew have already proven yourselves pretty capable, winning the race should be no problem for all of you."

“Hmm, that sounds pretty fun…” Toni puts an arm around Tessa as they walk. “What do I need to know about the regatta?”

"Like many things in our life, the Regatta is dangerous, but there is an opportunity for you to advance yourselves should you prove capable. It's a race amongst Free Captains that happens once a year in the Diaspora. The race goes around the Eye of Abendego, a powerful black hole that serves as one of the defenses for the Diaspora. Should you win the race, you would receive a seat on the Pirate Council, as well as your very own moon."

"Ooooo, a moon? Council? Black hole, adventure?!" Toni will turn and take the Pirate Captain's hands in hers, "You know just what to say."

"Excellent. You should go enter for the race, it's gonna start in a few days." To enter the race, Toni merely needs to go to a local official with 500 credits and proof that she's the captain of the Reclaimer.

After entering the race, you fly out to Cauldron Rock, where the race will begin this year. There are many spectators here that are eager to see who will win this years race. Among the onlookers are Merrill Starworthy and Tessa Fairwind, allies that you have made over your time as pirates.

Toni and the other Free Captains that have entered the race are summoned to a ship named The Kraken to meet Nestor Gale, the winner of the Free Captain's Regatta for the last five years who is now in charge of officiating the race. Toni notices that Captain Harrigan is among the competitors and he doesn't look happy to see you at all. "All right, this years' race is going to start right here at Cauldron Rock, take you right to the fringes of the Eye of Abendego, and finish at Coaming Point."  Nestor fixes his gaze on Toni and the other Free Captains. "This is an astronomical race, not a battle or a chance to avenge past slights. I will be monitoring the race, and any ship caught attacking or unduly interfering with another competing vessel will be disqualified, or if necessary, shot down. The Eye itself will be the most dangerous enemy you, a fact that you all would be wise to remember if you hope to complete, much less win, the regatta."

"Gotta Regatta baby!" Jeff would burst.

"Ooh this is gonna be so much fun!" Gin claps her hands excitedly. "No attacking anyone though, gooot it... But we're totally gonna win this!"

Dani looks a little disgruntled at not being allowed to attack anyone, but settles for flipping Harrigan off behind Nestor's back as she puts the rules into her tablet.
