Backstory: Unaril was not actually born as a goblin but was instead born as Calanon Yulman, a half elf born to a family of knights from the city of Silverymoon. As the child of two knights he was trained from a young age to fight with all types of weaponry and honorable tactics. So as was expected upon coming of age he became a squire and eventually a knight in service to his city.
During one of his first quests, he joined an elder group of knights in finding a rogue wizard that had stolen from the great libraries of the realm and in general was a threat to the people of the lands around Silverymoon. The battle that followed showed that the wizard was no mere dabbler in the arts of the arcane but a lich of no small power. While the others fought bravely, the young Calanon was overwhelmed as his own still budding skills were of no match for the undead mage. The souls of the other were harvested but to taunt the half elf for being a coward, the lich gave him a much different punishment. He twisted the form of Calanon into the form of a lowly goblin, breaking both his mind and body.
Upon awakening Calanon was no more, instead left as Unaril a goblin forced to serve as entertainment for the living minions of the lich. From being a servant to a tool for their amusement, Unaril sufferd through many things. As he lived through this the goblon learned that he somehow knew the way to wield a weapon and armor, memories left from his past existence. This was followed by faint whispers in his head, telling him he was meant for much more. Inspired by the voice he found the courage to gain his freedom, soon escaping. Since then he has traveled as a warrior, fighting to make his way while knowing he had a greater calling.
Backstory: "Two hundred years. That's how long I've fought to defend our lands from the orcs. Very quickly, I learned two things. One, that a successful defense was just delaying the inevitable. Kill an orc warrior and next year two of his sons show up. Lose an elf and there's no one to take his place. And two, all our Arts and Magic are no help, as long as we're on the defensive. Like rolling dice, sooner or later, they fail and the elf dies. And the orcs still come. It's funny, in a way. The humans - foolish, immature, ignorant humans - put their finger on the solution: the best defense is a good offense. It took me two hundred years to realize, that to stop the orcs you have to kill them where they breed. So, I left the forest. Wherever orcs are, I go.Wherever orcs are no longer, I leave."

Saxan Argenthrixus - Dragonborn - Valor Bard - Guild Artisan
Saxan has been a real talent of his craft - and pretty much anything else- for most of his life. This has largely meant that his Blacksmithing business catered to the very successful, people who’d accomplished real feats and had true victories. Saxan knew their stories, and he’d forged them in steel memory for them. Saxan realized he had the ability. He was skilled, strong, and driven. It was time he went out into the world to find his own destiny. That said... it’s a bit easier to do that when someone burns down your shop, and you rush out the door with not much else but your tools and your skivies. Saxan isn’t sure who he’s angered that badly. Heck, it could’ve been an accident, he supposed. But he had just enough money to get himself started on a life he’d always dreamed of.
Private Renn'theril of the Blacklake Squadron never liked following rules. Githyanki society was full of rules, so many they got pretty arbitrary and capricious. The army was moreso. Her sergeant, J'thralla, liked her, and tried to allow her what freedom he could, but their lieutenant was a real bastard. Renn couldn't even tell you why she chose the army over the academy, but she did, and she was stuck. Only bright spot was that she would get to travel the planes. Her first off-plane mission, a shakedown trip to the prime, went south when the lieutenant decided slaughtering and orc village would be fun sport. The village was far more populated than it seemed, something Renn tried to warn about, but as she was not a scout, her warnings were unheeded as per regulations. The village was atop a massive underground fortress where a war horde was about to set out a massive raid. While the gith were far superior on a soldier to soldier basis, the horde was ferocious and had a giant advantage in numbers.
In the end, Renn kneeled, cradling J'thralla's body, crying, as she realized only then that she loved him. a lone orc warrior was left, protecting a woman and her infant held to her breast. The badly wounded lieutenant was the only other gith alive, the rest fallen, including the wizard who was their way home. He ordered Renn to slay the orcs, but she turned on him instead, killing him. After this, she has been wandering the world, enjoying her freedom, and doing good where she can.
Zacharias spent his early life in the orphanage at Helm's Cathedral in Helm's Hold. He is largely unaware of his origins - with no ideas who his parents, people, or culture was. His early life was not an unhappy one; there was expectation placed upon him, but it was not unkind.
Growing up surrounded by pious Helmites many of their ideals and practices shaped Zacharias and influenced his decision to join the Church. Through hardwork and study he found he had an affinity with the arcane and began to excel in such teachings.
Due to Zacharias height and build many would mistakenly assume the young man to be a brute. It was true that his bulk and strength were unparalleled but it was not these attributes that Zach wanted to be known for. Vigilance, duty, patience - these were the virtues that the Helmites were quick to extol and instil in him, not brawn or the 'right of might'.
In recent months Zacharias has, as part of his continued study, embarked on a pilgrimage seeking to share his knowledge and beliefs with others across Faerûn, that they better protect themselves in times of trouble. Upon hearing of the current troubles in Blasingdell, Zacharias felt an instant 'calling' to aid the town in any way he can. Glory be to the Vigilant One.

Quick question, do we pick one of the two sets of stats, or do we pick 6 out of the 12 numbers rolled? The original post wasn't all that clear on it.
