On the table, Muirgurn, is a mortar and pestle. It appears that someone was in the process of grinding the insect husks from the decanter into a fine powder for use as a spell component. The scroll appears to bear the words of a spell (such scrolls would be familiar to you from your clerical studies), but the mystical cipher in which it is written is unintelligible to you.
The statues, Razil, are extremely lifelike down to the chain-links on the mail worn by the figures and the individual strands of hair modeled by the sculptor. This combined with the horrified expressions on the faces of the statues gives the eerie impression of actual people who have been turned to stone.
> No, i dont want to throw my attention to danger out the window. Not at all. I am lucky to not have gotten hurt in the fight before and know that you werent so fortunate.
I think we all healed to full at the rest we took earlier?
(Muirgurn will show the scroll to Razil; if it is as equally unintelligible to the warlock, he will store it for later. Do the statues have any aura of magic?)
Razil searches his memory to see if he knows of anything that would cause a person to turn into stone. He'll also review the scroll Muirgurn shows him, to see if he can make any sense of it.

Razil would have heard tales of certain monsters, gods, or even magicians who used spells or magic items that could turn people to stone. Upon reviewing the scroll, you find that the cipher is unintelligible to you as well.

You don't sense any active magic around the statues, but you do see magical auras around the rapier, the scroll, and a section of wall behind the work table about five feet wide by eight feet high, right where the scroll was found. The scroll and the rapier radiate transmutation magic, while the section of wall radiates abjuration magic, all at a strength a little higher than what you yourself can cast.
Peter finally enters the room, still having his head on a swivel, glancing over the room "I don't need a rest, if there's more light from here out I could try to scout out ahead if you'd like"
"Wait - there's something here behind the table. Maybe a magically concealed door? Would explain how the other one got away". Muirgurn traces the outline with the point of his dagger, (or at least as high as he can reach).
Muirgurn causes his dagger to effuse bright, holy light, shedding more illumination on the wall. "Peter, have you encountered anything like this before?"
"ehh, not exactly, but similar" Peter walks over to the patch of wall, stowing his bow and pulling out his tools, and goes about investigating it, trying to discern if there's any illusions or releases for the wall
As Razil and Peter examine the wall, you can see thin cracks in the stonework, indicating this portion of the wall is disconnected from the rest of the wall and can be opened in some way. To the left of this section, Peter, in a recess in the wall, you find a lever that seems to be a mechanism for opening the section of wall.
You can feel the lever click, releasing a mechanism that should open the wall panel, but the wall doesn't move. It's as if it's locked from the other side. The only other exit is through the double doors or back the way you came.

I'm assuming that Muirgurn casts his ritual then? (Detect magic?)

Muigurn conducts a ritual, hoping to discern if there are any magical auras present.

“Bugger”, exclaims Muirgurn in frustration. “Looks like we have to use the tradesman’s’ entrance.”
Peter clicks his tongue, and returns his tools to his pack and grips his bow once again "Same order as before??"
