(Lyss needs 2 hands to hold on to the minotaur horns, but we can just say Kerri does that instead since she’s not taken her turn)
The Minotaur flinches as Aimee’s cackling beam flies by it’s head missing. Moments later, Lyss’s arrow pierces it’s neck. Left injured and unbalanced, it’s an easy feat for Aldrik to topple the beast.
The Minotaur lies bloodied, bruised and fighting for breath. The ivory key around it’s neck is stained with blood.
As Aldrik stands over the Minotaur he has forced onto the ground, Edvord once again darts in with his rapier, attempting to stab the creature. Edvord sees how badly injured the creature is, and doesn't even bother uttering his usual magical incantations, instead electing to hit the minotaur with a simple thrust.
As the Rapier passes the minotaur's outstretched arms attempting to ward off the blow, Edvord spots a particularly grievous looking wound in the center of the creatures' chest. It is there that the mage's blow lands, digging deep and piercing the minotaur's heart. Looking over to Aldrik, Edvord tosses his head back, "Brute force isn't always the answer... sometimes a bit of precision and teamwork will finish the job."
Edvord looks up to see if the magical storm clouds up which the Minotaur was apparently summoned still permeate throughout the room.
As Edvord plunges his rapier into the creatures chest, it lets out one last breath, almost calm and accepting. As it does, the dark skies of the pasture clear up, the sound of storms subsides to the trickling of water and the entrance door swings open back out to the alley where the ivory door lies and the alley continues right out the door where you have yet to explore
Cico looks from the spot where the minotaur was to the door that has just swung open. He looks around for the key that had been around the creature's neck.
"Was it literally the key to our exit from this room?" Cico asks. "We may have been locked in without even knowing it."
Lodged at the back of the throat of the skull is a wand. Colourful depictions of fireworks seem to be painted all over the dark blue wood resembling a night sky.
Aimee puts the skull on her head, and it seems to work as a hat at least for a moment. As she steps out of the mysterious alcove it crumbles to dust leaving a grey residue all through her hair and over her face.
The Minotaur only holds it’s greataxe, a symbol lies magically marked behind it’s ear which Aimee recognises from her books to represent the demon Baphomet. She get’s the sense that this Minotaur was summoned from the Abyss.
After 10 minutes, Edvord is able to sense what he most likely assumed already. The sounds and sights within this room seem to be illusions, and you are in fact not standing in a field. The runes on the remaining skull give off a sense of conjuration magic and Aimee’s wand evocation.
Leaving the room, you have the Ivory door with the predators drawn on it to your left, or the alley continues on to the right.
The door swings open into a room with whitewashed walls, painted on the walls are paintings of open chests, each chest is a different style and shape but they all share the same rows of sharp teeth.
At the back of the room lies a wooden chest, it seems to be made of a heavy wood, but there’s no lock of any kind on it.
Finally, one of the walls has the following three words inscribed in gigantic blue letters “THIS TOOL WITH”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Something twigs in the back of Cico's mind as he stands in the doorway, looking at the chests with the teeth. Had he come across something similar during his testing?
Intelligence Check (Arcana/Investigation/Nature all have same +1) to try and remember something about chests with teeth: 20
Perception Check (anything else in here besides the one chest and the paintings of other chests): 13
Cico, you’ve been told to beware chests as they may hold many number of traps, or even try to bite you. You’ve been told these are called mimics, minor shapeshifters. “The only weapon you can trust is your fists, for your sword could be a mimic, your bow could be a mimic, your clothes could be a mimic!” You remember some advice. They laughed afterwards, which seemed strange for such a dire warning.
"This tool with... What does that mean? Maybe it's a rearrangey game? This tool with... hit with stool? Shit with loot? I think it's bathroom related.", Lyss deduces.

She struts proudly past/towards Cico with her cow skull hat only to have it disintegrate as she leaves the room.
"Darn! It would have been great to have, my wardrobe is so limited! No hats at all, huh Lyss?"
She prestidigates the dust away and says,
"Oh! That minotaur guy? He worked for Baphomet! The Abyss demon lord, one! Maybe this place is like, maybe, a doorqay into the Abyss? I think I read it was pretty whacky/killy there!"
Aimee nods along to Lyss's clever guesses and is mumbling words to herself trying to switch letters around.
"Maybe toss 'something'," she gives Lyss a knowing nod, "in! Or!"
She prestidigates 'soiled' the top of a chest. Clearly poop of indeterminate original.
As much as Cico finds Aimee's choice of test material to be distasteful, he does still watch with interest to see if what has been deposited on the chest elicits a response.
As you all stare at this ‘soiled‘ chest for a moment, silence fills the air. No reaction from the chest so far. Or does it look sad? No, no, must be your mind playing tricks on you.

"Mooooo! Victory yeah!"
Aimee gives the skull a tug to see if it's stuck to whatever it is on before wandering over to the exit.
The skull is not bound to anything, are you taking it to the exit?

Cico takes the key off of the minotaur, wiping blood off of it on the creature's arm.
"Are you going to carry that the whole time?" Cico asks Aimee nodding at the skull. "No one else will carry it for you."
Aimee checks to see if there is anything in it.
"Maybe?"
She tests to see if it could fit as a hat.
If it fails the have stuff and hat tests she'll drop it and say,
"Nope!"
She will search the minotaur too while she waits for Eddy's ritual.
