At the bottom of the stairs, the stone hallway continues to the right, water dripping under a convex ceiling. You come into a bedroom with four beds in tatters, straw poking out of the corners. Through a stone door on the opposite side of the room you can hear the argument more clearly. 

“You’re a damned fool ye are! That’ll never work! D’ye not have doors down in whatever hole you crawled out of!” A familiar voice (to Aimee, Lyss and Dnee) penetrates the door. 

A gruff, croaky growl replies, “You could help! You land walkers are all the same, all talk no action. Even with all your lackeys, you got beaten to a pulp tonight. You’re soft as those there mattresses.”

Aimee whispers to Lyss,

"Hey, We know that guy! From the bar earlier? Think he remembers us?"

"How do we want to do this?" Kerri asks quietly.

"Go in blasting!"

Aimee offers her, solid, suggestion.

Lyss looks to the others and shrugs.

"Or..." Kerri says after a pause, "perhaps not?"

"Okay! What else we got?"

Aimee looks excitedly between Lyss, Kerri, Spark and the rest.

Renaer looks to Kerri, “What would you suggest then? I’m no fan of running in headlong myself, but we need to save Floon”

Meanwhile the argument continues on the other side of the door,

”Get outta the way ye bonehead! It’s seeping in!”

Dnee thinks for a little bit, shaking his head at Aimee's suggestion. "How good are we at being sneaky?" he asks. "I'd say we could all try to find another way in and sneak in without anyone noticing."

Lyss looks up at Dnee and wrinkles her nose. "Well, I'M good at being sneaky."

"They seem distracted," Kerri says, "perhaps we use it to our advantage."

Aimee raises her hand and waves it,

"Lyss taught me! I'm super good at being sneaky! For a little while!"

She immediately turns to Kerri,

"So you thinking...!"

She does blasting motions with her hands.

(Whatever that looks like)

OOC - Thats how it’s looking. I’ll give you until morning (uktime) to decide how you are proceeding before the characters have discussed too long and things might develop in their own way. 

"I'll make sure it's not a bird that just sounds like that guy. "

Stealth: 24

Peeking through the door, Lyss can see two people frantically trying to block a door on the opposite side of the room. A grey oozing liquid is seeping through the door. One of them is the man from the Yawning Portal, covered in eye tattoos. He is trying to grab bedding to plug the gaps in the wall. The other looks like a dwarf but he is very pale with a dark beard. The pale dwarf is trying to block the door with furniture.

The room is a similar layout to the one you are in, rectangular with four beds around the room.

The pale dwarf grunts, ”It’s getting through. Retreat to the other bedroom.”

"Do not blast," Kerri says, "until they appear completely hostile."

"Got it!"

Aimee readies to blast as soon as someone is completely hostile.

Lyss peers at the grey ooze, trying to figure out what it could be that has them so freaked out.

She slips back to the others. 

"It's ol' Eye-Tattoos from the Portal that started that fight, and some friend of his. They're blocking a door against some grey goop that's running under the door."

Lyss has heard tales of sentient oozes before but has yet to see one until this day. She can’t recall the different types of ooze she has heard of, but she knows they are dangerous.
