(My Psi limit is too low or else I would just use Phantom Caravan (6points) to teleport everyone. As it stands, I can either teleport myself or swap places with an ally. Either way, I only have 10 points in my pool and that might last through the next boss if I I'm really stingy until then)

(I'm going on a limb and guessing the heat is coming from within the mountain. If that's the case, the copper plates are literally just transferring heat from below to where we are. Regardless of where or how you stand/move, the heat will always be there. It's like walking toward a fireplace through an aluminum foil hallway.)

Kevash sighs, realizing he is not prepared fully for this sort of trial. He sends his bats ahead, they scurry and flutter as fas they can to the other end. "This will not be pleasant...." With that, Kevash dashes down the corridor!
ooc: are the panels on the roof could I crawl across the roof using my cloak?
You could crawl across the roof, but if you're wearing metal armor you'd still take damage from the heat. Kevash feels considerable discomfort from the heat as he dashes to the opposite side. However, he is not damaged by it.
"Everyone wearing metal, strip it off." Shariel unslings a long length of rope from her pack, "Whatever you've got, tie them together in a chain with this. I'm going ahead with Kevash. Get everything lashed together and the next will bring the rope. We'll pull from the other end to get everything over safely. There's water on the ground, so it shouldn't get too hot."
(Figured outright calling it a daisy chain would be a bit out of character)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As beads of sweat begin to dot Riya's forehead, her lips curl into a small frown. She pats at her hair, sighing in frustration. "If this heat ruins my hair, so help me Torm..." She shakes her head, opting not to finish the sentence, instead searching for any other way in which they might proceed.
Investigation: 10
EDIT: Whoops posted this without refreshing... though I'll just stick with this for now and wait to see how that roll goes.
Kielle realizes that she is pretty fast and has no steel armor just padded leather. She darts down the hall and leaps over the hole to get to the other side.
Okay, four down two more to go. Unfortunately, Riya couldn't find any shortcuts in her investigation. Looks like we still have to get Tellan and Boresh over to the other side.

Riya sighs, going through the annoying and lengthy task of removing her robes, and then subsequently her chain mail, attaching it to the chain as suggested. "We lose this and I kill you." She states in her frustration, downing another gulp of booze before rushing into the heat.
Boresh, not wearing any armor at all (the whole time relying only on his naturally thick half-orc skin and rigorously trained barbarian constitution for defense), continues walking along the way he was already going. As the metal of his weapons gets too hot to hold, he casts Mage Hand to carry it for him, hovering it at arm's length in front of him the rest of the way to the end of the corridor.
"Well, that wasn't so bad! Nothing like a good sauna to clear the mind (and the pores)." Boresh wipes away the beads of sweat accumulating on his brow, grabs his axe from midair (thereby dispelling Mage Hand), and stands with the others across the induction field.
"Hey you honey-dipped boar-mongrel, are you going to just let these fair ladies drag such heavy equipment through this filthy muck instead of using that parlor trick to help?" Shariel punches Boresh on the shoulder, knowing fully that the remaining two were far from dainty. However, she couldn't pass up a chance to take a small jab where she could.

"Oh, so now you're a fair lady, sis? The first time I made jest about your ladyhood, you made clear it would be the last!" Boresh playfully matches Shariel's tone and throws up his arms in mock frustration. "A man can do no right, whereas women may have it both ways. Such cruel fate!"
His performance coming to an end, he sets his metal belongings and weapons down and heads back across to help the others manually drag the daisy-chain of equipment through the heat.
(OOC: Mage Hand has a carrying capacity of 10lbs so Boresh wouldn't be able to carry most metal armor with it, this'll have to take muscle instead of magic)
"You're absolutely right, Boresh! Fickle as the wind, fragile as a blossoming flower, yet we strike like adders."

"Eh, takin' off the armor and booking it across is fine with me. Prolly oughta take a better look at the paint job and make sure Mr. Bitey back there didn't scratch it too bad, anyway." Tell shrugs and moves forward as quickly as she can, helping lug the daisy chain along as soon as she reaches a cooler area. "I can pull the weight of my own armor just fine, thanks, Shariel! I'm already wearin' it all the time, after all! Still, too bad those hot plates cover as much of the hallway as they do. Wanted to try out a trick the sorcerer who got slapped by that ogre taught me, but it doesn't reach this far, haha." Once she's safely across, she takes a minute to scrutinize her plate mail before replacing it. "Nothin' a little buffing out later won't fix, I think. And a good wash after all this nasty water, ick.
Anyway, now everyone's back at a more reasonable temperature, I assume we keep marchin' forward? I'm sure there's lots more to see in here than just some fancy indoor heatin', yeah?" Tell finishes adjusting the last of her armor and turns to keep traveling down the corridor.
"See, that's why my mates and I never really took to armor," Boresh explains to Tell while gesturing a spell. "Aside from not having to worry about drowning in it lest we fall overboard and into the bottomless drink, we never had to fuss over a little grime."
Boresh casts Prestidigitation on Tell's -- and anyone else's -- sewage-stained armor, instantly cleansing them and wiping the dampness away.
"'course, we were never a particularly hygienic bunch in the first place, so it wouldn't have mattered either way!"
