Name: Voria Wildweaver
Race: Goliath
Class: Druid
Back Story: Voria’s tribe lived near the Sea of Frozen Ice. Her family was made up of mostly fishermen and sailors, though there were a few pirates too. At an early age, Voria felt the call of the wild. After completing her chores for the day would leave and explore Icewind Dale. As she got older Voria would spend more and more time outside of her tribe She would explore and get to know the wildlife of the frozen land. In recent years she has taken to explore beyond the Dale and into the southern lands.
Sorry Jilguera, but I don't think your character would be in the same vicinity as this adventure; it's set in Phandalin-shire, not Icewind Dale. Also I think we're full, but if someone leaves, I'll let you know. OK? "Inconcievable!", right?

Name: Rhogar Turnuroth Race: Dragonborn (Teen) Class: Fighter Background: Wanderer Backstory: Rhogar and his tribe were living peacefully for years, not having many qualms with other creatures. One day, while Rhogar and his family were having a meal, their village was surprised by a raid of Orcs and Ogres. These beasts destroyed the village and everyone in the village (As far as Rhogar knows). Rhogar's mother and father sacrificed themselves to allow Rhogar to escape, some of the other young Dragonborn were not so lucky. Rhogar spent the next couple years living alone in the forest, learning what he can about fighting and honing what he had already learned from his parents already. Getting eventually sick of the area he was in, he began to wander the lands.
Session Zero. I'll let y'all hammer out the details. IF you can, answer these questions:
1. How did you (the characters) get together? 2. How do you know each other? 3. Why do you like working with [insert character's name here]? 4. Do you think you're ready? I have a few "tricks up the sleeve" (nod to Wild Card Rogue from Runeterra) :)

OOC: I know my character Marva has basically lost her job. She hung around her hometown for a while to see if she could find something to do, but to no avail. She has a little money left, so she decides to travel to other towns to see if she can find a new library to work at. Maybe she stops in at the Three-Eyed Crow tavern and meets the bartender Leomyar there? I could see Salvador being there, too, since he's had to leave Neverwinter.
Maybe Panvalor is trying to earn some coin performing at the tavern?
Maybe there's a fight between patrons? She helps break it up or heals folks after?
Maybe she is running low on money and starting to get desperate for work and hears about an opportunity, along with the others and they all take the job together?
Maybe Willow and/or Venbella were attacked out in the woods by some creature and one drags the other into the tavern, barely alive?
Maybe Salvador, Panvalor, and my character keep accidentally running into each other, because we are all traveling on the road, unintentionally going the same way. Maybe the Three-Eyed Crow is like the third tavern where we have met. That would be kind of funny.
I'm completely open to other ideas. Just throwing some out there, based on the small amount of information I have so far. I feel like we have all just met, so I don't know yet which other characters I'm drawn to or annoyed by or whatever.
Also, I don't know how Dragon of Icespire Peak starts, so maybe there's something at the beginning that would pull us all together? Does it start in Phandalin? Or somewhere else where we get a reason to go to Phandalin?
Oh yeah, you're in Phandalin, your average sleepy shanty town with a higher-than-average attraction for trouble. You are either already at or planning to lodge in the Stonehill Inn. Beautiful scenery this time of year (frozen corpses, ruined villages, sacked houses, etc)

This IS the adventure! Just letting everyone get used to each other; deciding how to get along, etc. The real adventure starts Tuesday, around 9:30PM CDT, when I begin the adventure sort of stuff.

Maybe Leomyar is serving both Willow, Venbella drinks and overhears them talking about a rumoured quest? He figures that this might have some gain to it since he remembered finding his families bodies in the snowy wasteland and there were unusual markings and symbols on their body that seem old and draconic and perhaps it’s someone who is worships Cryovain or are affiliated with them? They could be locals, so he could have a bartender and patron relationship with them and they get on because he’s a well inverse host.
OR Willow and Venbella get injured in the woods, I notice them as they’re good patrons so naturally go and help tend to them, because I can’t loose my best customers and I actually started to secretly care, since I’m very chaotic neutral whose got some soft spots in him and that’s the golden dragon in me because I also have a darker side.
Then with Salvador perhaps he is local entertainment for the tavern and he’s playing a show tonight, since there was an awful brawl last night and it cost me a co bartender and that’s probably why I’m interviewing people for a new position and I could be Marva as a bartender and since this a seedy joint Leomyar doesn’t care who he hires as long as it’s someone with some common sense, whose willing to learn how to open a bottle and pour liquid into a glass.
Hey so I just want to make sure but I'm guessing my character Panvalor managed to join this adventure since i've seen him mentioned in one or two posts?
If so I imagine he will have been wandering around the area wondering what happened there before stopping at the local tavern to find out more information which is where he saw the other adventures and got curious about what their stories were.
