(OOC - Just had a thought guys. What about using Mind Spike on him? It's 60ft and visible, but could potentially give us plenty of damage and knowledge of his location should he try to flee. Perhaps a circle and strike at the heart from North-East?)
(( I See that I completely misunderstood the guard patzen before, so thanks for the map.
Btw, I asked for this before, are the armor or the weapon of the frog King made of metal (or something else he has on him that is visible?))
Trinjya is assesing the situation for some time.
"I could charm two of them but I guess it would only be of help if I could talk to them which I can't. If we take out some of thee creatures, it won't be long before the other patrols will know I'm afraid, no matter how silent we'll be. "
"Agreed - let's attempt to thin their ranks until we are discovered." Horatio closes his eyes for a moment, concentrating. A thin whisper of wings cuts into the air as a faint shadow flits up into the sky, heading across to the far side of the village. "My associate will attempt to execute a guard on the far side of the patrol pattern. That should disrupt their movement, and hopefully cause them to clump up enough for our area of effect spells to deal the most possible damage. That spell you mentioned, Morn, I think it might be useful as a killing blow against the king."
((Go ahead and roll initiative for me, the inciting incident will be Gandalon making his attack. Horatio, you know when he's about to strike, so could alert the others that it's about to go down. You can also roll me his attack, and we'll go from there. It takes him 30-45 seconds to flit his way over there and get in position.))

((Realizing I missed a few questions! Horatio is able to report that the king is outside, and that his mace is metal and he's wearing some other metal trinkets.))

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Across the clearing, Horatio's associate racks up his second kill, dropping a frog-man during their patrol.
((Con Save: 14))
((Sirq Initiative: 11))
((The patrol frog has *just* been dropped, and its body has not been discovered, or any alarm been raised. Is there anything you'd like to do? Are you guys waiting until it is found, or acting first? Horatio, having Gandalon move away from his kill? He's currently visible.))
((Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that the plan is that the group ambushes two of the patroling frog men at their meeting point while the Imp takes out a third, since nobody really seemed to very much favor the idea of splitting the group. So we would attack kind of simultaneously?))
((This is largely not visible to you, but doing LoS fog of war on this map would be a nightmare.))
((Currently there is a frog-man approaching where he'd pass by your hiding place within the next few rounds, but you're currently ~30 feet from where he'd be at his closest, and the vegetation would give him 3/4 cover vs ranged attacks from your current position. I'll go in and give them designations, but it would be the one at roughly 7 o'clock.))

(I think both of you are correct - alpha strike with the Imp to pick off numbers on the far side of the ring while we as a group take out another of the patrol. The perceived two pronged attack might make them clump up to try and deal with the problem head on, at which point we have superior firepower.)
Morn steps forward and whispers to the others, "With Horatio's friend making off, shall we move up and take out that little patrol there?" His hand wraps in icy crystals as he prepares to cause some frostbite to form around the closest foe.
((We'll keep the initiative order, but since Horatio's accomplice was able to take out the frog-man without raising the alarm, we'll kind of progress until things pop off for real, and go from there, so just let me know what everyone is doing, and I'll parse it all out.))
Samael hmms quietly, then asks "Can anyone else Command these creatures? if we can Command them, we can keep our stealth."
(also, I just looked through the sheets, sirq can shatter too.)
(DM Question - is the frog king outside as well?)
