Horatio grimaces at the thought of trekking through the mud again, but nods - going onward would be best. Better to cross to a drier place, and rest from the day's long work, than to have to push through the muck after a wet night.
Trinjya is sullenly looking at the muck in front of her, then turns to the group.
"So it's decided, we get across now. It's probably best to stick close together. We can help who ever gets stuck and will not split up into seperat groups easy to target. We keep Frankie in the center. Tonight, we' ll be sleeping on dry ground."
Trinjya moves up to the edge of the muck waiting for the rest of group to get up and assemble beside her.
((I'll take a round of Athletics checks then. Typically, if you rolled well on it, you'd be able to cross the mucky area, but if everyone is halting if one person gets stuck, we'll take a fresh round of checks to get moving again.))

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Morn summons his mage hand to move ahead of the group, testing the marshlands for more solid spots to walk by having it push on the mud. He also has it gather any brush, sticks or twigs that the group can see to help lay out a path to help them in their walk across.
(OOC - not sure if that helps give advantage on our rolls, or lowers DC, but realised I could have done something like this last time but it was too late.)
((Not advantage, but I'll take that into account.))
Horatio gets mired almost immediately, while Morn is able to get moving at a slow but steady pace. He could probably push on and eventually slog his way to the far side, or he could stop and wait for the others, but would have to get moving again.
((Morn, let me know if you're stopping or pushing on.))
((Were you moving in the same sort of order with Trinjya in the lead? I guess that's what I was picturing, rather than crossing in order of posting, so was looking for a round of rolls from everyone. But if she'd let others go first, then she can make an Athletics check to try to haul him out.))

((You are right, Trinjya would probably have been in front, but somebody would be in the back and might be able to pull Horatio free, by the way, how far was the other side away?))
((If you're crossing, you'd need to do it off that roll and keep going. If you slow down to keep close, you'll have to make another roll to get moving again.))
