Khutulun and Uce watch over Malambing as he works, it seems they were quiet enough that no one has noticed the trio skirting the campsite.
Krikoris sends a bolt of fire out which hits one of the rearmost bandits who screams in pain but does not fall.
Malambing reaches for his tools then stops as he realises the door is held in place by a simple latch and bar, he carefully opens it revealing a dark interior which reeks of sweat and waste, wails of fear usher up from within the dark.....Mal estimates perhaps a dozen or so voices, not yet loud enough to alert their captors.
Cinta calls on the cool temperatures of her mountain home and one of the bandits is momentarily covered in a layer of frost, it melts immediately but he seems stumbled by the unusual sensation.
Jupp sends a crossbow bolt at the bandit Krikoris had struck, the bolt striking through the mans face dropping him to the ground.
Six of the bandits fire their bows at the attacking trio within the trees, the two door guards remain in position but draw their blades, the other five charge, dodging and weaving they reach the treeline but are unable to bring their weapons to bear just yet.
As the arrows fly towards them Jupp is hit in the shoulder ( 3 hp) and Cinta is hit by a chance shaft that glances off a tree to scrape the side of her face ( 2 hp).
An angry shout erupts from the guarded hut, but no one emerges as yet.
6 Bowmen ( Disadvantage due to heavy jungle cover)-
Mal searches in the darkness, trying to let his eyes adjust. He'll hold out open hands and say "Don't be afraid, we're here to rescue you - come quickly!"
Cinta watches as the arrow grazes her, annoyed that she didn't dodge it, she will march forward with her Halberd into the nearest bush, obscuring her but closer to a bandit.

Khutulun runs directly at the bowmen, her spear at the ready. As she closes within twenty feet she makes a motion with her left hand and leaps. The monk disappears in mide air... only to reappear next to the archer, her spear darting for his chest. The panicked bandit threw himself backwards avoiding her blow but he was obviously shocked.
Krikoris releases a swathe of flame on the closest bandits setting the edge of the jungle afire. Two of them were consumed instantly and the other two scorched and staggering were finished off by his friends moments later.
Cinta watches as the arrow grazes her, annoyed that she didn't dodge it, she moved forward with her Halberd into the nearest bush, obscuring her but closer to a bandit. As Krikoris flames licked over his companions she took the opportunity and struck him down.
Both Jupp and Uce strode forward to engage and each smashed a man to the ground in a bloody pulp.
The bowmen started suddenly as Khutulan appeared out of nowhere close to them and began to fall back towards the west side of the village firing as they went. But all of their shafts went wide.
The two door guards moved forward a little as the door of the hut was thrown open and an older man with scarred features emerged, he opened his mouth to yell at his men but the voice that emerged was anything but human, " Kill them or one of you will be on my table tonight!". Shadowy filaments flickered about his eyes and mouth and black veins choked his neck and arms.
He reached out with both hands one towards Krikoris and one towards Jupp and black screaming shadows leapt from them....Jupp threw himself aside in time but Krikoris, surrounded by smoldering foliage was struck in the chest full force. ( 8 hp)
All the bladesmen bar the two next to Boss are dead. 5 bowmen remain. Everyone is currently within 30ft or so of everyone else..

Malambing attempted to calm the frightened prisoners who seemed to be a rather random assortment of poorer villagers of all ages, two panicked looking richly dressed men and an old woman who fixed Malambing with a look, " Aren't you a little short for a guardsman?"
She clapped her hands, " Alright...we're being rescued....finally...everyone follow the boy."
In the background could be heard from the village square a huge rush of flames, screams of the dying and strange unworldly crys......the prisoners looked nervous about venturing out...though they did begin moving...

Cinta watches as the bowman's eyes flicker as he tries to hold onto the Halberd and his gushing wound but it is too late; Cinta twists the polearm and yanks it free only to bring it down again to advance to the next bowman.
"FORWARD!" Her voice carried with command and authority, mainly to intimidate the bandits and show her new friends, she meant business. She marches forward until within reach of the next victim of the Halberd and lunges forward.
Attack:19 Damage: 10 Intimidation:20
((Still testing my roll macro, the tests are over once I roll a 1 or a 2 and it adjusts. I am a little on the stupid side when it comes to coding. Also, you are a terrible person for that reference lol))
A moment of confusion passes over Mal's face as he thinks to himself briefly "I'm not that short, am I...?" but as the sounds of the battle nearby sink in, and as the old woman claps her hands, Mal grabs his shortbow, nocks an arrow, and starts leading the group back through the trees, trying to stay out of sight. If the group is noticed, he'll send an arrow at any bandit that tries to stop them.
Stealth: 13 (...and in case of advantage or disadvantage due to the group following me, here's another roll: 27 )
