Initiative 22

hearing the commotion, skip joins the party, seeing the animated suit of armour attempt to grab Alev. He readies his weapons

Alev initiative: 7

As the armor starts to move and tries to grab him, Alev's first reaction isn't particularly the bravest: He yelps like an injured animal and runs, wings flapping in panic as he does, putting some distance between the animated object and himself.

He goes back to the group, trembling and shaking, trying to catch his breath. He is going to watch the others ready themselves for battle and Sergei already attempting to cast an spell, and will follow suit, the tiny speck of a flame shining for a brief moment on his hand as he composes himself to try and invocate it...

The party goes first.

Hearing the squeal of metal, Rudick whips around meaning to admonish whoever started messing with the armor. "What 'n the-...?! Wait! So, that's how it is!" He grinned as he strode forth intending to crack the armor upside the head in one vicious downward stroke of the warhammer. "Hah! Thought you could catch us off guard by hiding in plain sight, eh?! Think again, monster!"

Action: Attack Action at A. Armor.
(Lethal, One-Handed)Warhammer - Attack: 20 Damage: 8 of non-magical bludgeoning.

Hands still shaking, Alev mutters to himself "Here goes nothing..." as he stands besides Sergei. He grasp his hands together and he chirps something in Draconic: Fire Bolt. 

The tiny specks of flame materialize on his hand again and grow in size as he extends his hands and throws it at the animated armor.

Springing into action with Rudick, Skip glides around to the rear of the suit of armour, striking out with both rapier and dagger

Thadalas will keep his distance from the animated armor, and will nock an arrow into his elven shortbow, and fire an arrow.
OOC: I assume by the time Thadalas shoots, someone will be within 5 feet of the animated armor so I can apply Sneak Attack.

Lucan's Rapier Attack: 16 Damage: 8.

Animated Armor opportunity attack against Alev as he moves away. Attack: 15 Damage: 5.

The Animated Armor will do a Multiattack against His Rudick. Attack: 15 Damage: 7, Attack: 22 Damage: 6.

As Alev springs away, it slams an armored fist into your side. The bolt of dark energy racing through the air is swatted aside by its other hand. The energy sprays the wall, and the wall sizzles and burns. A torrent of flame engulfs the armor, but it takes no harm. Rudick rushes in and delivers a great blow that caves in part of its chest. Using Rudick as a distraction, Thadalas and Skip deliver their attacks, but both glide off of its metal form. Lucan draws and elegant blade and attempts to strike the armor, but the armor gracefully spins to the side, dodging the attack. In the same movement, it whirls around and delivers a heavy two-handed blow to Rudick.

The party is up.

Sergei grits his teeth and repeats his last attack, slashing the air with an arc of black fire (eldritch blast)

Thadalas fires another arrow at the animated armor.

Alev shierks when the armored fist hits him, and almost lands head first on the ground as he escapes. He puts as much distance from the moving armor as he possibly can, a hand grasping agaisnt his injured side. That hurt, that really hurt.

"It's a suit of armor! How is it even moving?" He asks to no one in particular, as he groans in pain. He watches as his fire apparently did nothing to it, but tries again nonetheless. I haven't come this far just to let a tin can kill me, he thinks as he casts the same Fire Bolt spell once again.

Rudick curses under his breath, having aimed for the head up shy and slamming the chest instead. Still, it was a good blow. But, before he could hold on to that sense of accomplishment for even more than a moment, its next strikes are too fast. The shield goes up in time to deflect one punch, but the second catches him across helmeted face, causing him to stagger a few steps back.

"Grr... Not bad, for a monster." He growled out as he rights himself, then took in a deep, steadying breath. "But not enough either!" His point is punctuated by a swing of the warhammer at the chest intentionally to impede the thing, if not destroy it.

Bonus Action: Second Wind for 4 HP.

Lucan picks a string on his harp and says in infernal “Stay dead armor!”

Its first attack next turn is on disadvantage.

I'll go for Skip to speed things up.

Skip rapier followed by a dagger. Attack: 17 Damage: 8 plus 10 for sneak attack if any of these hit, Attack: 15 Damage: 8

Animated Armor will Multiattack, one against Rudick and one against Skip.

Skip's: Attack: 24 Damage: 8I

Rudick's: Attack: 13 Damage: 5I

Animated Armor Wisdom Saving Throw: -3

This time, Sergei's bolt of dark energy burns a hole straight through its chest, leaving a smoking crater with rusted edges. Alev shoots a jet of flame that engulfs the armor's head. When the flames dissipate, part of the helmet has been partially melted. Rudick attempts to slam the construct with his weapon, but it dodges nimbly out of the way. For being made of armored plates, it's quite nimble! While their allies are weaving in and out of combat, Thadalas and Skip use that opportunity to strike fast and hard. Thadalas's arrow finds a chunk in its body and pierces through. Skip's weapons clang against its form. Today just mist your day. Calling on his training, Lucan spins a web of enchantment with his words,but it it falls upon deaf ears. Weaving between blows, the armor shoots out its leg in attempt to kick Skip's face in, but Skip manages to pull away from it. Undeterred, it delivers a right jab to Rudick, but it catches nothing but air.

The party is up.

Grinning despite the fact that he has not managed to score an actual hit, Skip darts in again for another chance
