With a bit of combined effort, the stone falls heavily to the floor, revealing a worked passage heading west, but soon turns southward, back towards the compound.
(The hinge and counterweight system on the stone is too far deteriorated to be useful.)

Kina's sheer weight again proves useful and she dusts off her hands with a touch of pride. "Well, maybe this isn't so bad..." she says. How dark is it where they are? Is the light good?

Other than the light you carry, its pitch black .... Barney would estimate you are currently about 50-70' underground.
Rachel would have created Continual Flame torches for anyone that wanted one before leaving town last time.

Kina takes in her surroundings, the quiet, pitch black surrounding her, and the fact that they're now deep underground in passages likely not hewn by civilized hands. ".... nevermind." she says, tugging Bart against her and holding her torch just a bit higher.

Following the tunnel, it winds very little, but always in a southerly direction per Barney's dwarven senses.
It is very easy to see that it has been a very long time since the tunnel has seen any activity, even insects seem to be leaving the passage alone.
After what seems to be an eternity (actually about 300'), the nature of the stone changes abruptly from bedrock to a black marble/basalt. At the edge of your vision, you can see the passage opens up into some kind of room or chamber.

Cade: you notice a small trough carved into the floor around the edges, starting near where the sparks formed, and ending by the passage where you entered.
Cade: It forms a narrow (3" wide) runnel that would direct a small or moderate volume of liquid from the center of the far wall, out toward the entrance along both sides. If that liquid were flammable, the sparks would have ignited it, creating what you imagine would be a pretty spectacular display. Towards the far end of the room, there are traces of a dried, but indeterminate substance along the bottom or the trough.

Cade shakes his head and sends a mental communication to the others. "Appears to be some cerimony chamber or something." He explains how the sparks would likely make whatever flameble liquid put into the trough burst into fire. With a shrug he turns to the doors. "Which do you want to check first?" He asks again mentally.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Looking into the room from the door Barnabus hears Cade's mental request and moves to the door on the right. He gently opens the door just enough to peek in.
Barney: At first glance the room appears to be strewn with trash and rubbish. Looking a little closer, you see that it had once been a fairly well-appointed bedroom, containing a bed, writing desk, book shelf and iron-bound chest. At least that's a best guess because everything has been smashed and/or rotted almost into obscurity.

The chamber opens off the left of the passage, roughly 20' wide and 30' deep. There is a closed wooden door at the far end of each side wall.
Moments after you enter the area, a shower of sparks flares briefly at the far end of the room and dies out just as quickly.
