Having not thought out the entry properly Barnabus finds himself behind the door as the Zogres move out into the center room. His chest swells with pride a bit as they are met with a barrage of attacks from his stalwart companions. Barts words cause a sly grin to appear on the dwarfs face as his jaw sets into a subdued but joyful expression. "Have at ye then!" He cries as he steps out from behind the door swinging Fife in an uppercut motion at the first Zogre in line.
Attack: 6 + Bardic inspiration of 4 Damage: 6
His war cry and strike distracts the Zogre.
(Battle maneuver :distracting strike adds 2 points of damage on a hit and also gives the next person to attack advantage and should that Zogre attack any but Barney it will be at a disadvantage. Using his bonus action he [action]shove;shoves[action] the Zogre 5ft back into the room so it must also make a strength check or be knocked prone.)
"Bart I've softened this one a bit for ya!" Barnabus exclaims as he shoves the undead creature putting himself behind the line of combatants.
Reminder: any attack on a party member within 5 ft of Barnabus triggers his shield master ability and he will use his reaction to apply disadvantage to the attack roll.
(OCC: apologies for the late reply. I forgot my phone at home before pulling a 12 hour shift and I was exhausted when I got home. Hopefully this makes up for it.
Edit: BAH! All that for the dice to betray me and I just realized I rolled a d6 instead of a d8 for my superiority die. Oh well. So all of that battle maneuver stuff only happens if an 11 hits. Except the shove does still push it back.)

(I'm seeing this fight setting up as using the doorway as a bottleneck to limit the ogre's advance, please correct me if I'm mistaken, with Kina, Cade and Barney arrayed to keep the first one through blocking the advance of the rest.)
Unfortunately, Barney's attack just barely misses.

OCC: that works. I had originally saw it as Barney opens the door and steps with it putting it between him and the three ogres as the come shambling out. But considering their speed its probably more likely that Kina hits the first one stopping the forward movement. This sets it up as you say. Barney doesn't need to hit to push though. So that push would push the first one back in and to the side allowing number 2 to step up for the next turn.)

Kina maintains her position, not wanting the other ogres to push past. She can retreat if she has to, but until then, she continues trying to keep the ogres from being able to engage the rest of her allies. Using her staff, she attempts to strike at the back of the knees of the ogre in a sweeping motion to knock it down (shove attempt). Given the sheer bulk of the creature, she's unsure if she has the leverage needed, but taking it out as a threat and keeping it as an obstacle for the rest of them makes the most sense to her, given how simply it shrugged off her kick. Barnabus plants himself firmly in the doorway. He positions himself with enough space on either side to allow Cade and Kina room to strike from the sides and he stays low enough that Wil and Bart can fire arrows over the top. The next Zogre who steps up meets Fife head on.

Barnabus has positioned himself so that he can react with his shield to an attack on either Cade or Kina putting the attacker at a disadvantage.

This time, upon seeing Barney take a heavy blow, Kina moves in and wrestles the zombie's other arm, plants her hooves behind its leg and and attempts to stagger it back INTO its brothers. (shove, like, shoving it towards the other ogres) If they can keep the creatures off balance, they won't have as much of a chance to retaliate. Her goal of course is to topple the ogre to the point it might even trip up the others, knocking them down like bowling pins. Kina's athletics: 17
OOC: Did I understand correctly that the ogres are sufficiently large enough that Horde Breaker attacks the same ogre? If not ignore the additional 1d6 on Attack 2.
Barnabus grunts as the fist of the Zombified Ogre connects with the side of his head, but he remains stalwart. When the next Ogre steps forward it is met with a determined snarl and the swipe of a bearded axe.
