At the mention of "troll" Wil frowns, pauses, wraps the tips several (6) of his arrows in cloth and wets them with some lamp oil. He then lights a torch and proceeds with the group.
Beyond the wooden door, you find a large hexagonal chamber (about 40' from side to side). Four other wooden doors can be seen, 1 in each wall going clockwise around the room, and a set of stairs ascending in the wall to your right. Four mouldering piles are strewn about the floor of the chamber. Upon inspection they seem to be comprised of damp, moldy ash.
Kina pauses. "An incinerator?" she wonders aloud. "Hmm... that's strange... unless this was where they disposed of failed zombie turns." she mumbles. "Hopefully the furnace is long since dead... don't much like the idea of fire suddenly shooting out in some kind of cruel surprise. Then again, it wouldn't make sense to have wooden doors if this WAS an incinerator... so just a garbage dump, maybe." she says, poking at one of the piles with her staff.

"I'd say it's more likely leftover troll. Least if we're lucky it is." Says Barnabus as he toes the sludge. "What direction shall we go? Or do we head back?"
"I feel I must point out, we did not fully check out the area behind us yet." Cade mentions as they gather together. "Do we wish to press onward, and leave those rooms with the other undead as they are?" He glances to each member of the group. "I think we should continue on this way, and only return to check the other undead room if we don't find anything here. We did block those rooms, so they cannot easily be opened, so I feel continuing is the best plan now, but I wanted to get the group's feelings on this before we move onward."
"I agree Cade. I think it may be time to venture up. No telling how far these tunnels reach. We could be days wandering around down here and no closer to finding the One. So I vote stairs." Says Barnabus.
"There's no need to exhaust ourselves on these abominations besides... if we can deal with The One, no doubt these things will just rot here, forgotten. So much the better." she says.

"Aye, that's smart." says Barnabus with a wink and smile of approval. "Them trolls have a knack for gettin' back up."

X is the tunnel back to the guard tower. My drawing capabilities are horrendous (understatement), but hopefully the labels help.

”l just wanted to make sure everyone was ready before I opened it.”
