The party leaves the tavern, as they walk out onto the street everything returns to normality, the street is alive with people going to and thro yelling, cheering and chatting. The party proceeds to walk through and out of the slums into the more civilized parts of the city and to the city gates where the stables await. At the front of the stables stamds an older looking but still strong man with heavy jaw and slicked back hair. He approaches the party and speaks smoothly with melodic tenures to his voice.
"Good morrow sirs, the name's Xarac how can I be of service."
"Excuse my large friend, he means well, I think, but small talk does not seem to be his specialty. My name is Alexander, and it is a pleasure to meet you. A man in a robe asked us to come to you in order to get some horses. Something about freeing a trading post. Does that ring any bells?" The Tiefling asks, stepping out from behind Feng. A smile rests on his face, and his voice is friendly.
While the conversation is going on, Hadran is also keeping an eye out for the guards at the city gates. Preferably bored ones, who might want to gossip about a certain northern trading outpost near the Scar Valley (especially if a half-full bottle of liquor is thrown in). After the dealings is done with Xarac, plans to talk to one of those guards.

Alexander quickly looked over the map, before handing it out for Donar to take. The dwarf had mentioned something about sailing before, and so the Tiefling assumed he must be good enough with reading maps.
"Before you get the horses, I was wondering if you could tell us anything about the man that paid you. Did he mention anything about who had taken over the outpost, or maybe you got a glimpse of his face? A little help extra information, and I might be able to part with this lovely bottle" He stated, his tail curling in front of him. He pulled the bottle of alcohol from it, shaking it towards the stable master.

"Hmm. Did he ever explain what kind of monsters they were? Even a rough description would help. The last thing we want to do is get ambushed by something we aren't prepared for. Oh! And how long has he been coming to see you?" Alexander continued to pry, finding the loss of the bottle to me more than worth the information he was trying to gather.
Donar is on his way out.
Errbody leaves the tavern and heads off to the stable guy.
Alexander walks behind Feng, trying to be less conspicuous in his massive shadow.

"What do you know about this Outlaw guy?"
No point in beating about the bush for Feng.
Xarac responds genuinely confused.
"Who? I've never heard of a man called outlaw"

Xarac's eyes brighten.
"Ah you mean the mummy-looking fella, bit creepy but he pays well. Ah the horses I'll go get them immediately oh and he asked me to give you this."
Xarac hands Alexander an intricate map of the scar and the outpost.

Donar, who has been sticking to the back not wanting to surround the poor horse master will come to the front when the map is presented.
"Let me see that map. I've spent years at sea reading these things so I can navigate us to where we need to go"

Donar will hand Xing some paper and pen. And then begins reading the map trying to figure out how far this outpost is from the city.
Hadran sees a few bored looking guards by the gates.
Xarac accepts the alcohol gratefully. "No I never seen his face but he always mentioned monsters horrible grotesque things he said."
Donar is able to decipher the map and can see that the outpost is a two days ride from the city.
