Seeing his opponent was finally downed, Gogon turned to duck past Yuno, coming up beside the injured worg and palm-striking it right in the chest with a loud (if somewhat-high-pitched) "Ki-yaaaah!"

Gogon's mace does not waver this time and as it swings toward the goblin, the goblin tries to duck out of the way and instead brings its head into perfect alignment with the mace. Like a 0.500 batting average baseball player, Gogon hits the head hard enough to knock it clean off of the goblin's shoulders and it flies upwards smacking off of the wall next to Chan's head. The goblin's body slumps for a second before it disappears. The palm strike, however, is absorbed by the worg's thick, fleshy hide and does not seem to affect it although it is still in a weakened state.
The worg turns to face its new attackers and takes a bite out of (1) Gogon as it clams forward with its massive jaws attempting to eat the palm that almost finished it.
Bite Attack: 25 Damage: 15
Sythm breathes heavily but his breathing is slowing a bit as he seems to be stabilizing.
As Yuno's dagger finds its way into the worg's flesh, the worg goes limp on her dagger. As she yanks the dagger out, the thrill of killing fills her and she feels her energy return to her a little (Second Wind).
With only one worg left on the field, it appears that the tides are turning in this battle.
Chan is up next!

Chan rushes forward to Sythm and reaches down to touch him sending a very small bit of healing energy into him, helping to ease his breathing as he blinks and looks up to the worg breathing down on him. “We must finish this!” Chan says taking another step back.
Sythm instantly opens his eyes as he has a small glimmer of life return to him.
The last worg seeing two people in front of it opens its slobbery maw, revealing a large set of sharpened yellow teeth. Stalking forward it strikes with its bite aiming at (1) the girl who took out the beast's companion and is now seemingly laughing. The teeth scrape across Yuno's skin and even with her renewed energy, she falls to the ground from the pain of the teeth sinking into her skin.

"We've got to end this!" thought the halfling as he maneuvered around Yuno's fallen frame. He bobbed and weaved before bringing his mace to bear, then crouched and leapt into a jumping front kick, desperate to quickly damage the worg.
The mace glances of the worg's thick hide and Gogon's front kick flies over the worg's back unable to connect. The worg turns to Gogon now realizing it has enemies on almost all sides and releases a feral roar.
Sythm is up next!

Sythm gets up. Seeing the state of the battlefield, he uses his free action to pick one of Yuno's fallen daggers from the floor then uses them both to attack the Worg.

Sythm snatches up a dagger from the ground and swings wildly. His first dagger misses the worg completely and almost impales the unconscious Yuno in the process. However, the second hit sinks into the worg's hide and the worg roars out in pain.
Worg Wisdom Save: 16
The sound of tolling bells coming from Chan's mental attack further weakens the worg and it looks to be somewhat injured now.
Yuno's breathing becomes labored and the heaving in his chest becomes irregular.
As soon as the bells stop ringing in the worg's head, the worg jumps out to bite (1) the pesky creature that sunk its blade into its flesh and tries to clamp its jaws around Sythm's neck.
Bite Attack: 24 Damage: 10
The bite snaps Sythm's neck and as there is no chance to revive him, there is a sinking feeling in each of your stomachs as you close your eyes and reappear in the original starting room facing two more doors in front of you. The voice speaks out "Learn from your mistakes and try again."
The door on the left has a sword that is glowing with a moderately bright light and the sword appears to be some kind of rapier. On the other hand, the door on the right appears to have a spear that is not glowing at all.
All of the items that you had earned on your earlier foray (Wand of Magic Missiles and Mace +1) have disappeared from your inventory and you are left with the equipment that you had started with. You each also have gained the benefits of a long rest and are revived/healed to maximum HP.
Sythm gets up, rubbing his hand on his neck. He doffs his armour, discarding it away. "Well, that wasn't very pleasant. This time I'm getting a bow first. What do you say, shiny door or the normal one? We haven't tried the normal one yet. I say normal."
Yuno groans and says, "WE HAD IT. WE ALMOST HAD IT!" She doesn't scream from anger or frustration but from excitement like someone who is passionate about a sport and lost a match by just a small margin. Calming down she answers, "I say normal one because we know Shiny = Tough Battle and magic loot. Normal, we don't know yet." Turning to Gorgon, she asks, "Hey Gourdy, mind giving me your knife again? I'll give you the first dibs at the first good weapon we get."

As Sythm sneaks into the room, the rest of the party feels a jerking sensation and they find themselves in an open stone room identical to the ones that they have been in many times before. Standing in the center of the room are 2 giant frogs. As soon as the party enters the voice speaks up again, "Defeat your enemies."
They needed a takedown, and fast. Gogon turned to the still-giggling goblin, and his mind touched anger for a brief instant as his eyes flashed red.
"Laugh at this!" he snarled as he swung his mace.
