“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar

Ishtayu watches the semi-avian beast, a smirk crossing his face as, for a moment, it distracts him from the events at the hunting lodge well enough for him to wonder what this creature's meat would taste like in comparison to boar. Quickly realizing the creature's immediate hostility, however, he draws his rapier in one hand while trying to gauge how best to fight it.
OOC: With the exception of Rod - who is a blur of Drow compared to the rest of us - we are the slowest party in existence. :D Does a fumbled initiative have a consequence? "You trip over your own feet, fall prone, and take 3 points of awkwardness damage."

OOC: Gknight, in our defense, we have had THREE massive meals so far. And please don’t give the DM any ideas, I rolled a bloody “1” - which could mean that I’ve actually fallen a and impaled myself on my daggers!
OOC: if the DM starts punishing fumbled inits, then criticals should gain a big benefit! :D And you weren't the only one with a '1', so you can dance together.

Griffin 10
Crone 8
OCC: Opps. Sorry I had another post with inestigation rolls into the bush, but I plate close enough the the initiation call that I edited the post to initiative rolls.
Sorry for the weirdness of this post, can Crone and Griffin get added to initiative?
((OOC: critical fail or succeed doesn't exist in 5ed, only critical hit for attacks))
Rod
"Gamble gamble?....What are you saying dreadful beast? Uh uh, let us overstep you, we are on a mission, my winged friends wants revenge, who are you to stop us? Let me introduce you to my Rod"
The Drow acts amazingly fast and with unexpected dexterity, he jumps down lifts his Rod and release a blast of crackling energy towards Gamble.
((Rod cast Eldritch Blast, Attack: 9 Damage: 5 force damage.))

Lenthium takes careful aim and releases his crossbow bolt, letting it fly for the heart of the enraged beast!

As the angel releases a crossbow bolt, Griffin begins chanting a spell, the chromatic orb spinning around his hand.
“Frost Bolt!”
Acc 11
DMG 6
Crone flies off of Griffins shoulder and towards the pissed poultry. She flies around the birds head caring loudly and pecking. (OCC Apply the help action to the next attack roll for either Ish or Red?)
(OOC: Feel free to give advantage to Red if he's gonna make an attack roll, all Ishtayu's got for offense is a sword so advantage is usable but not a necessity.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: Oops, wasn't sure if we were waiting for a decision on the advantage or anything.)
Ishtayu is briefly hesitant to approach the beast directly, but seeing it charging after Rod, decides it to be a necessary course of action at the moment. He swiftly steps in and stabs at the creature with his blade.
9 to hit with the rapier, 9 piercing damage on a hit.
