"So Igneous, what do you intend to do with your new pet?" asks Gijigume. "You put so much effort into aquiring her."
A powerful force of orcs reinforced by evil mercenary wizards attacked Wave Echo Cave to seize its riches and magic treasures. Human wizards fought alongside their dwarf and gnome allies to defend the Forge of Spells, and the ensuing spell battle destroyed much of the cavern. Few survived the cave-ins and tremors, and the location of Wave Echo Cave was lost.
For centuries, rumours of buried riches have attracted treasure seekers and opportunists to the area around Phandalin, but no one has ever succeeded in locating the lost mine. In recent years, people have resettled the area. Phandalin is now a rough-and-tumble frontier town. More important, the Rockseeker brothers — a pair of dwarves — have discovered the entrance to Wave Echo Cave, and they intend to reopen the mines.
Unfortunately for the Rockseekers, they are not the only ones interested in Wave Echo Cave. A vicious orc known as the Kinslayer controls a network of bandit gangs and orc tribes in the area, and his agents have followed the Rockseekers to their prize. Now the Kinslayer wants Wave Echo Cave for himself, and he is taking steps to make sure no one else knows where it is."
(He'll have to keep her chained and fed and after a couple weeks he can make a check to gain her loyalty... No that's the other pet.)

You’re drow guest is lounging in the orc leader’s quarters. She shows absolutely no fear of your group and is acting more like you lot are asking her for a favour.
Igneous moves into the door quietly closing it behind him, "so, you want to tell me what a drow is doing working for an orc" his original tone that was very calm becomes lightly more serious "or a better question is why that Orc's natural hatred of elf's didn't lead him to kill you"

The Drow sneers at Igneous "You seek to provoke me into foolish action. I am one, you are six; I have no wish to join my ancestors for so pointless a reason." She turns her back and moves to stare out an arrow slit.
DM: I don't follow what you're trying to gain here. She has told you why she is here and if you want to kill her she can't stop you. On the other hand do you really want to start a fight with a Drow clan?
(I'm just saying, one man does not a group make =P )
Fah'lin will store the scrolls and potions for the party and try the Brandy.

Thar having watched Igneous try to achieve whatever he was trying to achieve and appearing to get nowhere asks "Well then, Lady of the Glandalhi, what was your clan willing to offer Kinslayer and his band for access to the Wave Echo Cave? Some of us may well display a provincial attitude but as we seek Kinslayer for our own reasons perhaps we could reach an accord that may benefit both us and the Glandalhi."

Fah'lin will seek the aid and advice of the dwarves... Where is the cave? Is Kinslayer there? Is his position fortified? Does it hurt when I do this? Can we help you back to town? Have you got anything to help us on our journey? Do you have somewhere to go? Do your friends there have anything to help us?
